Orangatan. O-r-a-n-g-u-h-t-t-a-nO-r-ang-uh-tanHard not to say when you hear (or read) it.
What word?
Orangutan (correctly spelled). The big orange monkey, instead of the copyrighted "el gran perro colorado."
As William says, this is a not-much-happened letter. Because, life isn't always so hectic as when the first Abbot fell on his face, or when Father Clam broke a bone (he's recovering fine).
Ah, the wonders of Abbey life!

Letter VIII- A Bug Falls On William's Desk

In this episode of the Abbey of Bitter Tea River, well... the episode title does it justice. William can be rather introspective.
But I've definitely seen beetles like he describes here. Hey, also, do you ever fold letters like he folds his? A single crease down the center to fit into the envelope? Or are you weird and fold it multiple times, "into thirds," like a maniac?

In this episode of the Abbey of Bitter Tea River, William tells us of the beauty of the Abbey and its folk. He also describes how a set of baby pigs has joined the animals on the Abbey grounds. Brother Hamish cooks again (who would've guessed), and the sweltering heat keeps most of the Abbey in the shade.
Apparently, there is also a cat living at the Abbey, too. No dogs, yet.... Maybe.

A new character, Brother Medden, adventurer and historian, and maybe a bit ameteur archeologist.
