The troupe prepared for an impending fight! When drums started playing in the distant woods, Del donned the Huntress’s armour only to discover that it makes her worse at everything and she can’t take it off. Tyler blamed himself for Del’s predicament and used himself as bait to lure in the demon gorilla, Rage-narok. As combat began, Shadow Nemesis used his new ring of invisibility to strike at their foe, with the unintended consequence of appearing to be naked to everyone else, and New Rogue bounded away through the treetops to try to draw in some dinosaurs. Can Wet Change defeat Rage-narok and reclaim the fallen General’s sword?

Still separated from the rest of the troupe, Shadow Nemesis survived the owl’s crash landing, was chased through the forest by a giant T-Rex, and narrowly escaped being eaten by summoning rats to form a man-shaped distraction. Meanwhile, Tyler explained the basics of human reproduction to New Rogue, New Rogue finally understood that he didn’t hatch from an egg, and with Ivan’s help, Del found Shadow Nemesis. As they moved to set off again towards the caves, they realized that New Rogue had been leading them in completely the wrong direction and were in fact near Rage-narok’s lands. Could the approaching drums be coming from nearby allies?

With Shadow Nemesis trapped in the belly of an owl, the rest of troupe engaged in desperate combat with dinosaurs! Tyler tried to save Del from certain death and cast haste on himself to great effect before being accidentally struck down by New Rogue, but luckily the cleric healed his friends and drove off the beasts. New Rogue then went off to bring back the fleeing Doctor Deputy Extreme, and Del helped Tyler finally remove his earring before revealing her greatest concern: what to do about Adam. Will Wet Change find a way to avoid condemning Adam alongside Shadow Nemesis and save their friend from the supervillain in his mind?

3.38 - What Do We Do About Adam?

The troupe decided that Shadow Nemesis could handle his owl problem on his own and continued on toward the caves. New Rogue confidently led them in the wrong direction through a dense jungle, they discussed the conundrum of having lost an hour in the morning, Del revealed that she’d learned that every day spent in this realm was a month back on earth, and Tyler had a philosophical discussion with Ivan about his familiar’s agency. Suddenly, they were all set upon by three raptor-like dinosaurs and Del tried to distract them only to be immediately injured. Is Wet Change any match for these deadly reptiles without Shadow Nemesis?

The troupe awoke to a new day, but found themselves having lost their usual first hour. Shadow Nemesis was haunted by his continual failure to kill Gregernant Mahn, Tyler was temporarily struck thoughtless when he attempted to remove his cursed earring and discovered his new ring would leave him vulnerable in his sleep, Del secretly consulted Lucretia about how to deal with Shadow Nemesis, and New Rogue learned that his new dagger makes him somehow both better and worse at stealth. As they challenged Del’s possessiveness over her cookies, Shadow Nemesis was carried off by a giant owl. Will he return, and will Del share her cookies with her friends?

After Del and the squire defeated the severed head, the troupe barricaded the monastery so they could rest and tend to their wounds. The squire asked for a new name, and Del renamed him Doctor Deputy Extreme, Tyler collected Shadow Nemesis’s corpse and dumped it into the portable hole for safe-keeping, New Rogue was challenged by Rumpleforeskin to consider whether Ezra really was a benevolent god, Del had another heart-to-heart with her bone horse companion, and Shadow Nemesis found himself in the ghost realm intent on destroying Gregernant. Will Shadow Nemesis exploding be good news for the rest of the troupe?

The troupe were safe from the undead but not from each other! Shadow Nemesis believed his friends were possessed by Gregernant Mahn before he fell off a roof, died, and became a bat-winged severed head that could only speak in vowels. Del was so afraid that she hid behind Tyler, New Rogue fainted, woke up, tried to attack the head, missed, and nearly killed Tyler, the Doctor Deputy began stealing from Shadow Nemesis’s corpse and started fighting with the severed head, and Tyler gave up and said to just let them fight. Will Shadow Nemesis relent and learn a valuable lesson about friendship before he fights Annatruix Serif to the death?

Interparty conflict came to a head between the barbarian and his former minion. Shadow Nemesis attempted to break the Doctor Deputy’s new cool bow, Del knocked him unconscious with harsh words, he recovered only to get stomped by Rumpleforeskin, and New Rogue stabilized him once more. Tyler tried to calm Shadow Nemesis down so he wouldn’t hurt himself of anyone else and eventually let him leave to look for his cockatrice. Back inside the monastery, Del found a sequence of defaced images mocking Ezra’s teachings, but New Rogue’s faith was only reaffirmed. Will Wet Change remain safe within their barricaded shelter?

The troupe found themselves with a horde of undead still remaining between them and their goal. Tyler had crushed the Huntress with his alchemayo jug, New Rogue finally received the Sun Blade back from Jack Magnum, Del gave the Doctor Deputy her cool bow and blew his mind when she told him he did a good job even though he had missed his target, and Shadow Nemesis searched an empty hole and refused to believe that he had gone berserk. Now that the inevitable has happened and the Doctor Deputy has challenged Shadow Nemesis, can Del stop their fight and help them reconcile before someone ends up dead?

The troupe desperately fought to defeat the Huntress and finally take the Sunblade. Shadow Nemesis, still trapped in his berserk state, relentless attacked the undead around him until he was struck down and petrified by the bite of an undead cockatrice, Del received a gun from the mists and summoned a pokeball panther to help, and Tyler threw his alchemayo jug at the Huntress, knocking her down, where New Rogue destroyed her in a rather anticlimactic hit from his guiding bolt. But the troupe couldn’t stop to celebrate, as Jack Magnum snatched the Sunblade and took off. Do they have the strength left to defeat the remaining undead?

The troupe fought for their lives against the Huntress and accidentally fought each other in the process. Shadow Nemesis went berserk and attacked those nearest to him, which happened to be the Huntress and also Tyler, New Rogue used his ability to Turn Undead, which scared off the Huntress and also Rumpleforeskin, Del provided a chance to escape by casting a teleport spell on them all, and Tyler used it to chase after the Huntress, determined to seize the Sunblade they had come for. Can Shadow Nemesis survive the kiss from a bat-winged head, and can they all claim the weapon they need before dying horrible deaths?

3.30 - A Room Full of Gregernant Mahns

Inside the ruined monastery, the troupe fought the Huntress and several boneless zombies. New Rogue conjured a field of Austin Powers’s love interests to fend off the zombies, Jack Magnum immediately bounded away and into a zombie, which started to consume him, the Doctor Deputy followed Del’s orders to rescue Jack Magnum and he chased after the goat, and Del blasted the Huntress but accidentally hit New Rogue too. Shadow Nemesis began attacking everyone nearby as he went uncontrollably berserk and Tyler desperately called out for everyone to avoid Shadow Nemesis, but can General Tyler’s strategic thinking save them this time?

Still separated from the rest of the troupe, New Rogue finally regained his magical powers after apologizing profusely to Ezra for his blasphemy, and saw his friends once again, only to be attacked by Hellhounds. Shadow Nemesis meanwhile led his companions into the ruined monastery, Tyler guided Del through the darkness, and once her eyes had adjusted, Del summoned a bonfire to set several boneless zombies aflame. New Rogue caught up with the rest of Wet Change, but with Helhounds and zombies outside, and the terrifying and mysterious Huntress inside, can they survive this endless night?

Del, Tyler, and Shadow Nemesis prepared to enter the monastery, unable to help their friends, who had been eaten by an owl. New Rogue and Jack Magnum broke through the fortified insides of an owl that had clearly learned from the deaths of its fellows, and discovered they were hundreds of feet above the ground. New Rogue tried for a diplomatic solution, but mistakenly burned through the bird with his necrotic limbs, and they all plummeted to the ground, flattening Jack Magnum. New Rogue begged for help from the gods to bring his friend back to life, but received no response. Will Jack Magnum be revived when the day restarts?

With New Rogue and Jack Magnum still missing, the rest of the troupe continued onward. Shadow Nemesis told Del the story of the Lion’s Paw before unveiling his plan to the sneak into the monastery, Del ordered the Doctor Deputy to tie up some cockatrices to be eaten by zombies and took advantage of her new minion’s darkvision, and Tyler learned he was wearing an earring of sexiness and couldn’t remove it due to the sway it held over him. Will Wet Change succeed in their plan to stealthily enter the monastery? And will New Rogue survive to join them in their quest?

The troupe spoke with several citizens of Corn Town with mixed results. Tyler collected useful information from a local criminal Quickling, New Rogue tried to give corn to the poor, and he was joined by the Doctor Deputy, who robbed an unconscious person to make them poor. New Rogue then accidentally killed the misguided squire, but Del was able to save him before collapsing. Meanwhile, Shadow Nemesis tried to kill Gregernant Mahn, but when Gregernant escaped and summoned the town watch, Shadow Nemesis fled town. Can the rest of Wet Change survive the consequences meant only for Shadow Nemesis?

Having been swallowed whole by a giant owl, Del managed to stab and burn her way out of the bird only to catch the attention of a dinosaur-like creature. Luckily, Rumpleforeskin found her and they galloped away to relative safety. The rest of the troupe entered Corn Town. Tyler set out to gather information to help them on their quest, New Rogue decided to bestow corn from the farm on the people of Corn Town, and Shadow Nemesis went to Buttermilk Biscuit’s Buttermilk Biscuits to murder his new-nemesis Gregernant Mahn, but found himself hiding Gregernant inside a biscuit barrel in some kind of ruse apparently. Can Del and Tyler get them all back on task?

Travelling without Del, the troupe found themselves menaced by the mists, their mounts, and each other. New Rogue was nearly turned to stone forever by Westra Ambereyes before he started riding with Tyler, Shadow Nemesis was disappointed when he realized how helpless his friends were even though they thwart him constantly, and General Tyler desperately tried to keep the team from killing each other or dying after Del was carried away by a giant owl. Will New Rogue only use his magical wet rock for good, will Shadow Nemesis get through Corn Town without killing someone, and will Del return from her owl-based kidnapping alive and unharmed?

The troupe’s tense standoff continued, when suddenly a giant owl swooped in, swallowed Del whole, and took off. New Rogue didn’t believe that Shadow Nemesis wanted to help and hit him with another rock, so Shadow Nemesis responded by shooting New Rogue in the leg. After Tyler froze Shadow Nemesis and everyone had calmed down, they accepted that the owl was long gone and they split up to look for food and weapons. Tyler exercised his leadership skills, ordering the others to collect the Troll’s head while he sought out Nicholas to leave a note for Angelina, but will his guidance be enough to keep his companions from killing each other?

The troupe challenged Shadow Nemesis on his motivations for remaining with them, which ended in him throwing the Doctor Deputy into a well, but Tyler rescued the squire and caused him to reflect on the merits of doing good. Del led the troupe in a mind meld with Shadow Master and they learned that Shadow Nemesis could in fact let Adam out whenever he wanted to, Tyler received confirmation from Ezra that they could complete their quest without Shadow Nemesis if they found a replacement Mistwalker, and New Rogue began pelting Shadow Nemesis with rocks for his comments about killing Ezra. Will Del be able to pull them back together?

The troupe found themselves fighting for their lives against the Talisman of Ultimate Evil. Shadow Nemesis freed himself from his symbiote’s charm and a game of talisman hot potato ensued. Tyler caught it first and immediately died, Del then got hold of it and started dying too, but New Rogue revivified and stabilized them both. Shadow Nemesis—realizing he truly is evil—found himself able to hold the talisman without taking any harm and declared himself Shadow Nemesis Supreme. Tyler questioned whether Adam was inside him at all anymore, and Shadow Nemesis revealed that Adam was indeed locked away. But is Adam lost forever?

Working together, Del viciously mocked the amulet’s skeletal guardian before Tyler finished it off with a misty-step-fueled hammer throw. Torn between the powers of Shadow Master’s charm and his absolute love of evil, Shadow Nemesis felt the mists rise up to make the situation even more unpredictable. Just minutes before the troupe met the troll, Del and the Doctor Deputy had found themselves face to face with the ghost of Angelina, who was desperate for a divorce from her also-deceased husband Ted. Del misled Ted into willingly running away from them and towards the Gravewalker, they then came upon the ongoing battle, Del quickly dispatched of the troll, and they caught up with the rest of Wet Change. Del, New Rogue and Tyler took the long way around back to the barn, while Shadow Nemesis made his way in through the well, drawn to an object of an evil nature, only to be promptly attacked by a skeletal snake. Wet Change is charging into battle again, but will New Rogue’s long weapon help them this time?

Still trying to infiltrate Angelina’s farm, the boys had discovered a well with clean water leading up to the barn when they were ambushed by a massive green monster hurling boulders. Tyler tried to be brave as he cast new spells at the creature, Shadow Nemesis went into a giant rage and pulled the monster into the water with him, and incredibly New Rogue intentionally caused damaged with his spectral hands. Despite their efforts, the troupe found themselves in serious danger, but luckily Del reappeared just in time. Where in Ravenloft was she? And with Wet Change whole once again, will their combined efforts be enough to defeat a huge, regenerating rage monster?

3.16 - We’re the…uhh…Plumbers!

As the troupe neared the end of the tunnel that led to the farm, they realized that Del and the Doctor Deputy were missing! As they called out for the companions, they caught the attention of nearby scarecrows and suddenly found themselves under attack. Shadow Nemesis scaled the walls to attack the scarecrows as they entered the tunnel, New Rogue used his Immovable Rod to prevent more from entering, and Tyler instructed his companions to fall back as he destroyed their straw enemies with a fireball. In the aftermath, the boys found three doors, two connected to the farm house’s plumbing and the other still a mystery. Will the fractured group be able to stand up to whatever horrors lie beyond the dreaded door number three?

After New Rogue volunteered them all to help rescue Angelina from the same scarecrows that had previously killed him and Del, the troupe tricked Nicholas Church into getting them their usual cockatrices. On the way to the farm, Shadow Nemesis flexed his newly discovered “Jester's Privilege” and acquired some new catchphrases, and Del and Tyler tried to strategize and get the party to co-operate with mixed results. The troupe’s inability to keep quiet alerted a nearby militia force to their presence. New Rogue, Del and Tyler hid in the forest, only to be torn apart by demonic imps, and Shadow Nemesis was destroyed by The Grave Walker, even after giving up his friends. Awakening once more at the start of the same day, the group was ready to apply what they’d learned, so they proceeded to kill the green skinned general, revive him, then kill him again. Del brought Tyler up to speed on the plan to impersonate The General, and they all made their way towards Nicholas Church. Will they be able to maintain their ruse long enough to figure out what is going on with this realm?

After scouting and sharing fond memories, the troupe reconvened. Tyler and Ivan led them towards one of the army's militia forces, New Rogue tried to understand Westra's cawing by asking Jack Magnum to translate, and Del had to explain to Shadow Nemesis that her reality blade doesn't conjure magical items into existence just because he wants them and dismissed him back to the ghost realm. Shadow Nemesis noticed that the mysterious figure he had seen had an aura similar to Del’s, and finally approached them, only to be pulled into the grasp of The Grave Walker himself! Will Shadow Nemesis be able to hold on until Del summons him back?

The troupe are on their way to the hills to watch the final battle! While resting so New Rogue could meditate and recharge his magic, Tyler and Del had a long-overdue chat about how they were holding up in their terrifying new reality. Meanwhile, Shadow Nemesis grew tired of being alone in the ghost realm. In an effort to convince the group to let him stay out with them more often, he explored the area, found an ancient church, and was sent back to the ghost realm after being struck by a mysterious and seemingly soulless creature. Will Shadow Nemesis be able to warn his unsuspecting companions before this new threat finds them?

With the rest of the troupe having safely surrendered, Shadow Nemesis was chased by cockatrices and immediately pecked to death. New Rogue was too depleted to revive him, and Tyler was convinced by Ezra to wait and see if the day reset again, so when Del tried to summon Werner, the ghost of Shadow Nemesis joined them instead. Del packed up his body and gear into her portable hole, and they all decided to do some reconnaissance at the battle, but New Rogue tried to deceive Hardin to obtain a cockatrice, and was distraught when Rumpleforeskin compared him to Shadow Nemesis. Will Wet Change ever be honest with the people of this realm?

As the troupe faced seven elderly gnomes, Shadow Nemesis began to rage and the fight began. Tyler immediately backed away, hands up, bowing out of the fight, Del followed Tyler’s lead, declaring they weren’t with Shadow Nemesis, and New Rogue tried to magically calm the villagers, but when he couldn’t calm them all, he too surrendered. Tyler and Del tried to force Shadow Nemesis to back down, but it was ultimately New Rogue who succeeded in commanding him to stop. The Doctor Deputy died again, and Shadow Nemesis was arrested, only to escape and be set upon by ten cockatrices. Will the troupe survive the day this time?

After failing to hold onto Guy Bradford through the pull of the mists, Tyler passed through alone to rejoin Wet Change. The troupe witnessed events repeating themselves and started to learn the rules of this new domain. Del deduced that the only ghosts in the realm were those who had died that day, New Rogue revivified the orc that had died from an allergy attack, and Shadow Nemesis experimented with the rules by stealing from and kicking a corpse, which once again led to him being set upon by a village of gnomes in retribution for such defilement. Can the troupe get through a single day without antagonizing an entire town?

The troupe found themselves unexpectedly in a fight for their lives. New Rogue noticed that the scarecrows had disappeared from the nearby field, and just as Del realized that Rumpleforeskin and the cockatrices were frozen, they were set upon by the straw-stuffed beings and eventually cut down. Meanwhile, Shadow Nemesis fought an entire village of gnomes seeking vengeance against him, and even as he defeated some, more appeared, and he too was brought down. Having just died, they all suddenly found themselves back in the same picturesque woods where they had started out the day before. With Tyler back now, will they have better luck today?

Ignorant of the happenings inside the blacksmith’s shop, New Rogue received a special amulet from the Watchers, and Del received a hand mirror through which she could speak with Lucretia. Meanwhile, Shadow Nemesis shot and stabbed the blacksmith to death, and then—after talking it over with Shadow Master—ate the brain, threw the body into the forge, and decided that if there were no consequences, then the murder wouldn’t really count. But when he emerged from the shop, he was confronted by furious townsfolk and guards who had witnessed his crime, and in the ensuing fight, the Doctor Deputy was cut down. Can the squire be saved?

With Tyler still missing, the rest of Wet Change entered a pastoral town, where the townsfolk were waiting to see whose side the General would choose in an upcoming battle. The description of the General just so happened to match Tyler. The troupe were asked to retrieve an important icon for the battle, and so Shadow Nemesis, New Rogue, and the Doctor Deputy secured cockatrices to ride on their quest, and Del learned that ghosts were conspicuously absent from this realm. Not unexpectedly, Shadow Nemesis offended a blacksmith and as things got heated, he pulled his gun and shot. Will Wet Change ever get a moment’s peace?

As Tyler clung to a rapidly fading Guy Bradford, the rest of Wet Change—including New Rogue—fell into the mist. Shadow Nemesis was attacked by yet another member of the Nutter family, but the troupe defeated him and found themselves in the picturesque woods of a new domain. Del received a text from her friend Laura and discovered that they’d been gone for a year in earth-time, they came upon a suffering orc and realized they needed to start solving this domain’s mysteries, and New Rogue suggested leaving a sign for Tyler. But with the rest of Wet Change venturing into an unknown land, will Tyler ever find them again?

Amidst the strangeness that seemed to be enticing them to stay in what was formerly Denton Arthur’s realm, the troupe agreed they should leave for the next domain as soon as possible. Guy, however, was convinced that entering the mists would mean certain death, so he abruptly started running away. Tyler chased after him, but it was Shadow Nemesis who stopped him by shooting and mortally wounding him. As strange angelic creatures closed in, Del finally accepted a pact with Lucretia and gained demonic powers. Wet Change narrowly escaped and entered the mists once more, but will they all emerge unscathed this time?

2.57 - Ravenloft: It Changes You (Season Finale)

The troupe finally gained the upper hand against the Dark Lord! New Rogue dealt a strong blow against Denton Arthur, Shadow Nemesis cut off one of his arms, and Del summoned more ghosts to prevent him from fighting back. Tyler called out to remind everyone that New Rogue—as champion of this realm—had to be the one to destroy Denton, but Shadow Nemesis wanted a second Dark Lordship and made a grab for the gun to deal the final blow himself. Tyler, Del, and New Rogue have all tried to reason with Shadow Nemesis and convince him to stand down, but will he make the decision that saves his friends?

The troupe continued their desperate battle with Denton Arthur. As the Dark Lord used their own weapons against them, New Rogue was the first to make it past the hole in the floor that had plagued them, Shadow Nemesis summoned some rats, which miraculously attacked Denton’s wife in concert with Del’s shrieking ghosts, Tyler finally broke the latch and brought down the barrier that had been protecting Denton, and Del retrieved her Reality Blade and New Rogue’s hammer to arm them once again. But with New Rogue having just fallen under a barrage of magic missiles, is it possible that all of Wet Change will make it out alive?

Wet Change’s companions continued to fight off robots, while the troupe faced Denton Arthur and his Frankensteined wife. With the Dark Lord in possession of their weapons, the troupe did what they could. Del contacted Werner Herzog for tactical information and learned how to release the barrier shielding Denton, Shadow Nemesis boldly scuttled up the wall to face him head-on, and New Rogue miraculously healed them all but then fell into a hole lined with mayonnaise. Tyler tried a different approach and transformed his face to resemble Denton’s wife, but will it be enough to stop the Dark Lord from killing them all outright?

The troupe were set free by Rumpleforeskin, who helped them see that Denton Arthur has always been the Dark Lord of this realm. They faced off with flamethrower-wielding robots, but upon closer examination, they determined that the robots were the former citizens of Denton’s village and their constant refrain of “We protect the town” was their desperate attempt to communicate. With New Rogue fighting off death inside his mind, the rest of troupe awoke, bound, armourless, weaponless, and unable to use magic! Tyler and Del speculated on why Denton Arthur imprisoned them, but their questions were soon answered. Denton arrived wearing the Robocop armour, which infuriated Shadow Nemesis, and explained that he was frustrated at not being able to use the bodies in this realm to achieve his goals and that he realized he needed the bodies of Mistwalkers. Meanwhile, New Rogue had an epiphany that he must put aside childish notions and learn to rely on himself. Will Wet Change escape with their bodies intact?

The battle for the fate of the realm raged on! Del used up her magic beans, which created all sorts of bizarre effects, both helping and harming the werefolk, Tyler was knocked out, got back up, accidentally hit Merrith Glimplimmer, and was subsequently knocked out again, Shadow Nemesis challenged Aesyr Sanguine in a complex yet ill-conceived plan and was promptly taken down by his minions, and New Rogue was unconscious the whole time. As it appeared all hope for our heroes was lost, Denton Arthur arrived in a wall of mist with an army of robots! Will it be enough to turn the tide of this critical battle?

Finally face-to-face with the army, the troupe tried their hand at subterfuge. Tyler pretended to be Streamlabbing Tyler and commanded the armies to stop, Del tried to corral the werefolk to safety within the tree, but she became overwhelmed by screaming ghosts, Adam found himself able to lie again, but at the cost of having his hand-severed off by the truth-compelling bracelet, and New Rogue tried to surprise Aesyr Sanguine, but the demon immediately stabbed him and combat began in earnest. The Doctor Deputy is fighting against them, Bob Gilsby has been immolated, Lucretia won’t help, and New Rogue is dying. Is all hope lost?

The horde is almost at the gates and the troupe sort of has a not-very-good plan! Tyler still plans to parley with the generals while posing as his dead doppelganger, New Rogue might still be planning to pose as his still-living doppelganger, and Del created a large matte painting to hide the werefolk, while Adam emerged from his mind palace as a blend of himself, Shadow Nemesis, and Krispy Kris, and was dismayed to find that the Doctor Deputy is missing. Their plan isn’t very good, but the horde is upon them and they no longer have the time to formulate a new one. Will Wet Change survive a battle for which they are outmatched and underprepared?

As the armies drew ever closer, Shadow Master convinced Adam to try to work things out with Shadow Nemesis inside his head, and Del considered a spiritual partnership with Lucretia, while Tyler and New Rogue devised a tentative scheme: Tyler would disguise himself as his doppelganger to meet with the generals and fight them instead of the entire horde, Adam would take Tyler’s Nose Ring to look like his Dwarven double, and New Rogue would set Jack Magnum on his shoulders and pretend he had a goat head to loosely imitate Pope Wtephan. Is Del right in thinking that these are really bad ideas and the troupe will soon be saying their last words?

While Adam climbed alone to the top of the tree and had an existential crisis, the rest of the troupe tried to find alternative options to fighting the approaching armies. Tyler contacted Ezra for clarification on whether New Rogue could become the new dark lord without have to defeat the current one, but there wasn’t a precedent for it, New Rogue wrote to Denton Arthur to request robotic assistance, but Denton couldn’t send them through the tubes, and Adam was forced to admit to Shadow Master that he tells himself lies to avoid confronting any real emotions. With the boys having not had much luck, can Del convince Lucretia to help them?

With the army quickly approaching, the troupe started to strategize their defensive plan. Tyler sent Ivan up to do some reconnaissance, Adam failed to get anyone to help him find his missing bag of holding, New Rogue was curious about Del's deflections about the bag and questioned her about it, Rumpleforeskin destroyed the bag in the flames of their body, and Del finally revealed to Adam that the bag and all its contents were gone, including the only needle that could give the Doctor Deputy a different body. The squire expressed his displeasure about this revelation, but will his disappearance really be beneficial to the troupe?

2.46 - Do You Think I’m A Bad Person?

The troupe continued to battle Streamlabbing Tyler! Del terrified their foe with disturbing ghostly images, allowing the rest of the party to use the moment of distraction to finish him off, Adam then feasted on Tyler’s doppelganger’s brain, Tyler discovered the purpose of his new ring when it flew to his nose and turned him into a dwarf until he ripped it out, and New Rogue ran through the gamut of his healing spells until everyone was mostly healed up. Outside the tree, they found that all of the were-folk had survived, but more armies approaching. Thanks to some well-timed help from the Watchers, they have some time to prepare, but will it be enough?

New Rogue made a decisive radiant blow against their foe, Del used her ghostly spells to bolster her friends and hinder their enemies, Adam raged fiercely with his vampire bite, Tyler conjured distracting copies of himself, and Rumpleforeskin took charge of the Doctor Deputy, Jack Magnum, the boar, and the rats to attack the minions. The troupe used a brief reprieve from battle to prepare for the boss fight. With Shadow Nemesis badly hurt, Tyler bargained with him to heal him but only if he let Adam come back, and Shadow Nemesis finally relented. Del and Rumpleforeskin had a poignant conversation about the uncertain future of their friendship, New Rogue cast a protection spell on the bone horse and Jack Magnum, and Adam used his flute to call forth a swarm of rats to aid them. Freshly healed and ready for battle, Adam opened the door to Streamlabbing Tyler and fired his gun. But will the troupe’s renewed vigour be enough to defeat the enemies before them?

The troupe tried to heal up and strategize their next move, but Shadow Nemesis was fixated on his missing bag of holding, so they all complimented him until he felt good enough to join the fight. Tyler disguised himself as a Hecklin, but got hit and was revealed, Del rode Rumpleforeskin as the bone horse used their hooves to attack, Tyler and Shadow Nemesis dispatched a couple of Jecklins, and New Rogue used a spectral foot to help stomp the last one. These Jecklins are defeated, but Shadow Nemesis isn’t doing great and Tyler has almost died twice. Does Wet Change have the strength left to face what’s around the next corner?

In a stroke of extreme luck, the troupe managed to get the jump on a group of Hoechlins. New Rogue made effective use of his deadly spectral hands, Tyler did some impressive bladesinging to hold his own though he got stabbed rather badly in the process, Del summoned a boar and finished off the remaining Hoechlins, and Shadow Nemesis received a Flute of Rats and ignored the combat in favour of trying to mobilize the were-rats. Under pop-culture-infused orders from New Rogue, the were-folk are holding off the armies outside, but does the troupe really have what it takes to find and defeat Streamlabbing Tyler?

The troupe and the were-folk set off towards the Rootless Evergreen. Tyler found a misty path that led them along a more covert route to the underside of the tree, Shadow Nemesis looked for loopholes to get the Doctor Deputy released from his oath to Tyler, and Del stole Shadow Nemesis’s bag of holding so he couldn’t use the doll’s needle to steal one of their bodies. Having climbed up through the base of the tree, New Rogue was the first to emerge top-side, only to be confronted by two dead were-folk and three figures standing over them looking reminiscent of Tyler. Is Wet Change prepared to face off with the armies of Streamlabbing Tyler?

The troupe entered the were-camp and lay down for a much-needed rest, during which Shadow Nemesis sucker-punched Adam and took control once again, and Del—ever the pragmatist—made them all focus on the fight with a promise to deal with him later. Del and Tyler learned that time didn’t work as expected in their current realm and that many of the folk they had hoped to save were already dead. With only ten hours left before the armies were set to arrive, New Rogue drew inspiration from various TV shows and movies to deliver a rousing speech to the were-warriors for the battle ahead. Will their march towards the Rootless Evergreen end in victory?

The troupe continued to contend with the consequences of body-switching. New Rogue healed Adam’s accidentally-self-inflicted wounds, Adam couldn’t fight the influence of Shadow Nemesis and became a bit more evil, and the party tried to get Adam back into the doll body, but he unintentionally resisted the needle and remained a goat. Del and Tyler realized that Lucretia might make a deal with them and so Tyler agreed to give the demon a child in exchange for putting everyone back in their rightful bodies. The troupe have a battle ahead of them, but will the reunion of Adam with Shadow Master sow discord once again?

The troupe set off towards the were-camp. New Rogue struggled to comprehend the degree of body-switching that had occurred, Adam woke up as a goat, unable to speak and desperate to communicate that New Rogue had tried to kill him, Del calmed Adam down, and Tyler made a deal with the Doctor Deputy to let the squire fight for them if he kept the truth-bracelet on. Adam was finally able to request armour, and Del tried using her new Reality Paints to paint a suit into existence, but due to the magical limitations, it came out as papier-mache. Can they save Adam from the damage he’s inflicted upon himself by testing his flimsy armour?

The troupe once again found themselves up against Lucretia Sanguine. New Rogue tried to strike a deal with her to both return Jack Magnum to him and return Adam to his own body in exchange for a child, but instead, she charmed New Rogue into trying to kill Adam, and Adam stabbed Jack Magnum with his doll needle, causing them both to collapse. Del and Tyler arrived on the scene and Tyler finally slapped New Rogue out of his charmed state in time to hear from Denton Arthur that Aesyr Sanguine’s army is marching toward the Rootless Evergeen. Can the troupe retake the floating tree-city and fight off the approaching horde?

After realizing they’d have to wait a full day before Adam got his body back, Del stayed behind to keep watch over Adam and the squire, while Tyler and New Rogue left to search for Jack Magnum. New Rogue received an offer from Lucretia to exchange his goat for giving her a child, but he left her to consider it, and Tyler meanwhile consulted with Ezra to discover that Lucretia’s desperation for more heirs might give them an opportunity to bargain with her for more. Adam and New Rogue have set off to try to steal Lucretia’s body with the doll needle, but is there any hope for their reckless plan against such a formidable foe?

The troupe contended with how to handle the most recent doll body-swap. New Rogue threatened the Doctor Deputy with a game of chicken until Tyler put the squire to sleep, Shadow Nemesis temporarily took control over Adam and tried and failed to glue the black knight’s helmet back together using Del’s pickled finger, and Del finally managed to pull Adam-slash-Shadow Nemesis out of the bag of holding. Del used the foul-smelling odour inside the bag to force the Doctor Deputy to retch up the needle, but the squire still wants the Black Knight back. Can Adam retake control over Shadow Nemesis before he ruins everything?

As was inevitable, the troupe’s fears came true when Adam woke up in a doll’s body. Adam fought Shadow Nemesis for control before he was shoved into his bag of holding, where he accidentally smashed the Black Knight’s helm. The Doctor Deputy repeatedly hacked at Adam’s hand in the hope of removing the bracelet and liberating Shadow Nemesis, but the commotion quickly drew in Del, Tyler, and New Rogue. They realized that the switch had taken place, but not before the squire swallowed the transforming needle and declared the whole thing a hostage situation. Can the troupe negotiate the safe return of Adam’s body, fully intact?

As Tyler returned from his fishing trip, New Rogue followed up with Denton Arthur about Rumpleforeskin’s prosthetic leg with a very confusing letter, Del took over to provide actually useful information, and a very drunk Adam smashed up the bar, confessed to Tyler that he’d plotted against him, learned that he had a kid with Lucretia, and drank even more before the Doctor Deputy finally took him away to sleep it off. They’ve all turned in for the night, so is anyone even going to notice that the squire just jabbed Adam with a needle to steal his body?

The troupe had some uncomfortable realizations about themselves and each other. New Rogue received a Rod of Double-Checking to help combat his tendency towards black-and-white thinking, Del played Warhammer with Lucretia Sanguine, who she learned to be Aesir’s mother, and a horrified Adam learned about his crimes as Shadow Nemesis and left to get a drink with New Rogue and the Doctor Deputy. Meanwhile, Tyler caught a ground worm and tried to leap on it and stab it, but instead knocked himself out with his own sword. A tense meeting with the Vistani quickly turned around when they were delighted by Jack Magnum’s tricks, but the rest of the troupe learned some hard truths. Tyler couldn’t get the hang of worm-fishing and found himself relegated to a corner, New Rogue learned that his relationship with Ezra might be superficial and that he should do some more introspection to deepen the connection with his god, Adam was forced to confront some of the evil deeds he had done as Shadow Nemesis, and Del expended a lot of emotional energy trying to soften the blow. Can the troupe exhibit the emotional maturity needed to pull them through these latest trials?

The troupe prepared to do battle with the approaching caravan, when New Rogue recognized them as the Vistani, the travelling performers they had met in Happy Town. But just as they were greeting each other, the Doctor Deputy—thinking that Adam was speaking to him in code—attacked. Del managed to think quickly and stop the squire momentarily, but when he kept attacking, Adam shoved him into his bag of holding. Back at the were-camp, Tyler found a clever way to set up an invisible fishing hole in the sky where they could fish for ground worms, but will that even matter if the Vistani’s fears aren’t allayed by Jack Magnum’s tricks?

With the rest of the troupe either sleeping or gone fishing, Del took advantage of a quiet moment to attempt to extricate the Doctor Deputy from his robot body, only to accidentally activate the self-destruct sequence. The squire got free and Adam shielded them as much as he could, but Rumpleforeskin had their leg blown off and they all got burnt in the explosion. Meanwhile, Tyler caught a glimpse of what had happened through his detached finger in Del’s pocket, and so New Rogue rode a Were-boar to his friends to heal them up, while Tyler started fishing. They escaped disaster, but will the approaching caravan spell more trouble for Wet Change?

As Shadow Nemesis relinquished control, Adam was torn from his nightmare and remembered nothing since meeting the Judge, so Del caught him up, leaning into the kinder aspects of who Adam used to be, but felt rather conflicted about it. Meanwhile, Tyler and New Rogue traversed the Barren Hills to the rough camp of the Weres, learning that Streamlabbing Tyler had displaced them from their home on the Rootless Evergreen and left them without a source of food. New Rogue offered his Master P Powder to feed them for a short time, but they’ll have to go fishing too if they’re to survive for long. Can they save this community from disaster?

After speculating that the were-monsters were likely good people, New Rogue convinced them that the troupe were not in fact their doppelgangers and they all backed down. He and Tyler helped everyone heal, the Doctor Deputy got upset about not getting a were-monster body, and Shadow Nemesis suddenly realized that his new, mist-given bracelet was forcing him to tell the truth. New Rogue immediately began interrogating Shadow Nemesis, who promptly ran away and—not wanting to reveal his sinister plans—relinquished control back to Adam. Del has set off after Shadow Nemesis to talk him down, but will she encounter her old friend?

The troupe debated what to do about the were-creatures. Shadow Nemesis wanted the Doctor Deputy to take one of their bodies, but they decided instead that New Rogue would approach them like a sinuous, hissing worm, assisted by the power of Del’s ghost story and Tyler’s familiar. Surprisingly, the creatures spoke and seemed afraid of New Rogue, mistaking him for his Doppelganger, so New Rogue magically calmed some of them, but not all of them, and the fight began. These were-creatures clearly aren’t evil, but can the troupe defend themselves and deescalate the situation before the squire zooms in and gets himself a werewolf body?

2.24 - Stupid Boys Making My Brain Dumb

The troupe left the Nameless Graveyard behind them, set off toward the Barren Hills, and immediately encountered the Nilbog. New Rogue tried to befriend the strange goblin, but just as the situation turned dangerous, the Nilbog froze and—seemingly possessed—told the troupe that the Watchers were impressed with them, and then promptly died. Unsure of what to make of this misty intervention, they continued on. Del received an endless bottle of chai tea latte from the mists, Tyler got a child-proof bag of holding, and Shadow Nemesis retired to the roof of the carriage. Will they get the jump on the were-monsters just ahead?

After several mishaps by Wet Change, Rumpleforeskin dealt the final blow to the Gargoyle King. Del learned from Werner that they would be safe until the following night, but without a clear foe, the quarrelling began anew. New Rogue offended Rumpleforeskin, Shadow Nemesis stole New Rogue’s Master P powder, and Tyler was constantly disturbed from his sleep by Jack Magnum. As a sort of truce, New Rogue, Shadow Nemesis, and the Doctor Deputy stayed up all night digging a hole to bury broken gargoyles. Can the troupe make it through another long day ahead of fighting foes, each other, AND exhaustion?

The troupe is locked in combat with the Gargoyle King and five miniature gargoyles. New Rogue focused his powers entirely on keeping his goat safe, Shadow Nemesis tried to strike at the king, but hit Del instead, Tyler effectively conjured illusory clones of himself to draw the attention of the gargoyles, and Del psychically attacked with a Cronenberg-like jamboree band. The Doctor Deputy discovered that he couldn’t attack the gargoyle king unless it first attacked every member of the troupe, and with the stone giant swiftly smashing through Tyler’s illusions, will the troupe survive another blow?

Wet Change entered the church in the Nameless Graveyard and, when Del realized it was Thanksgiving, they decided to celebrate and found some food and drinks. Rumpleforeskin made a berry jelly and baked a calzone inside themself, they all played cards, and the Doctor Deputy put on such an incredible show with the Tech Deck that Tyler gave it to him permanently. They all said what they were thankful for, received gifts from the Watchers, including a goat for New Rogue that he can pet without harming, and discovered that Shadow Nemesis had slept with a Sanguine. Now can they defeat the gargoyle that just landed unexpectedly in their midst?

The troupe left Protection Town and set off toward the Barren Hills. Del got her phone out and shared photos of them all in happier times and New Rogue connected again with Shadow Nemesis by reminiscing about Wet Change’s more bizarre sketches until they arrived at the Nameless Graveyard. Coming upon a church, they investigated the strange statues atop it, and when Tyler discovered that those stone gargoyles were cursed and would come alive at night, Shadow Nemesis smashed their heads off. But the sun is setting and they’ve yet to explore the inside the building. Have they done enough to ensure their safety tonight?

The troupe had some loose ends to tie up before leaving Protection Town. Tyler saved the Doctor Deputy’s life by transferring him into a rat and then into the extra doll he’d kept, Shadow Nemesis returned from the ethereal plane and the best sex of his life and threatened to slice up New Rogue if he ever touched the squire again, Del received Unsoilable Underpants of Fortitude from the mists, and New Rogue was given the ability to send messages back and forth with Denton Arthur. With a robot body for the Doctor Deputy, armour for Rumpleforeskin, and a repaired wagon with mounted crossbows, can Wet Change conquer the foes of this realm?

The troupe has become further divided! While Shadow Nemesis was being charmed by the demoness Lucretia, Tyler and Del noticed that they always seem to need something to fight against, otherwise they devolve into petty infighting, and New Rogue taught the Doctor Deputy to channel prayer into magic before the squire revealed he’d in fact been praying to the god of death and they too began fighting. Shadow Nemesis ignored Del’s pleas to stay, left with Lucretia to picnic in the ethereal plane, and agreed to raise evil children with her, while his own squire was unknowingly on the brink of death. Can Tyler save the Doctor Deputy’s life?

The troupe suffered fallout from the bathroom ordeal that began at Chateau Nemesis. Tyler fastened a cloak into a kilt and gave Del his pants along with his jug of alchemy, which produced only mayonnaise, leaving it to Rumpleforeskin to lead a firefighting robot over to Del to finally spray her off. Meanwhile, New Rogue began the Doctor Deputy’s first lesson in prayer, but was interrupted by Shadow Nemesis, and an argument ensued in which Del pushed Shadow Nemesis out the window. Shadow Nemesis left to rest at Denton Arthur’s house, but soon found himself face to face with a demoness. Will he survive this surprise encounter?

After hearing the Doctor Deputy’s concerning intentions, Tyler and Del convinced Denton Arthur to program safeguards into the squire’s robot body, Shadow Nemesis tried to teach the squire to not kill innocent people unless he was told to, and New Rogue unconsciously destroyed Ivan with his spectral hands and was left feeling even more distraught. As the troupe debated where to rest up, Shadow Nemesis locked himself in a bathroom to feed Shadow Master, leaving Del to run around and fail to find another bathroom in time. Will Del find replacement pants?

After the robots saved the burning church, the troupe tried to get their bearings. Shadow Nemesis convinced Denton Arthur to make a robot suit for the Doctor Deputy, the squire voiced his excitement about shooting villagers, Del and Tyler realized they would have to be the ones to teach the squire to be a better person, and New Rogue was incensed by the injustice of Shadow Nemesis being rewarded with a gun from the mists. But the troupe soon learned from Ezra that mysterious being known as the Watchers are the ones giving these gifts. Can the troupe entertain the Watchers and avoid getting reported to the Agents of the Dark Powers?

The troupe entered Denton Arthur’s workshop, where the old man scanned their souls to distinguish them from doll swaps or doppelgangers in the future. Shadow Nemesis posed as a like-minded scientist type to ingratiate himself, Tyler covertly warned Denton of Shadow Nemesis’s nefarious ways, and New Rogue asked him to make him some protective gauntlets and boots, but as soon as they started experimenting, they both got blown up. Del and Tyler healed them up, but as they ventured out to find a place to stay, a church devoted to Ezra exploded as collateral damage from the earlier blast. Is anywhere in Ravenloft ever safe for long?

The troupe were pursued by stitch monsters, but robots soon arrived and blasted them back. They set off toward the nearby town, Shadow Nemesis tried and failed to seize control of the robots, New Rogue tried to indoctrinate the Doctor Deputy about Ezra, Tyler conferred with the god and learned there might be other hero-like folk around, and Del had the most exciting journey of her life when Rumpleforeskin offered to give her a ride. They arrived Protection Town to find an idyllic pastoral village, a volcano, a floating castle above a lake, and no one else around except an elderly man and some helpful robots. Will they be enough to defeat the dark lord?

As the troupe trundled along, they were beset by two Frankenstein-like stitch monsters. Tyler summoned vinegar and put Del’s finger in it to preserve it, I guess, Shadow Nemesis destroyed the carriage when he raged into a giant while still inside it and then hurled half of it at the monsters, Del drew some of her ghost friends into existence to help grab at the creatures, and New Rogue blessed the group as he conjured up miniature Doctor Evils to surround them and encourage them to destroy their foe. But if they’ve had this much trouble facing two stitch monsters, do they have a chance at fending off the ten more headed their way?

After the terrify demon encounter, the troupe paused to assess the situation. New Rogue had a crisis about not being great at healing, Shadow Nemesis found out that Shadow Master doesn’t know anything about this realm, Tyler determined that Del’s ring couldn’t be removed without high-level magic, and Del got so upset and pulled at the ring so hard, she ripped her finger right off. Meanwhile, Shadow Nemesis claimed a broach from the Watchers and had it hammered into his helm, with the unfortunate result that anyone who looks at it is temporarily unable to comprehend numbers. Will they be able to use this strange gift to their advantage?

After Del put out the fire by miraculously conjuring rain, the troupe set off deeper into the new realm. They had finally deduced that Del’s oppositional nature was due to her new ring, when a meteor crashed into the ground and a demonic figure arose before them. New Rogue tried to befriend the demon, but was instead declared the chosen one of this realm, Tyler and Shadow Nemesis were severely injured by the demon’s terrifying magical abilities, and the troupe, including Rumpleforeskin, were all confronted with evil versions of themselves. The demon and the doppelgangers left them for now, but can Wet Change handle the horrors that await them?

2.09 - A Hero and His Wet Change

As the raging forest fire approached, the troupe fought off a large spectral doll! The Doctor Deputy accidentally stabbed Tyler with a steak knife, Shadow Nemesis retreated with the squire to the carriage, New Rogue managed to calm the doll’s mind slightly, and Tyler hit the spectre, giving everyone else the chance to escape. Del managed to defeat the doll with Werner’s help, but her forced contrariness kept her in rooted to the spot until Tyler finally figured it out and used reverse psychology to get her to fall back to the rest of the troupe. They’re finally ready to flee, but can they make it through the fire that’s now surrounding them?

The troupe was finally reunited! New Rogue had found himself inside the stomach of an owl, tickled his way out, set the forest on fire, failed to befriend a wolf, and was rescued by Del’s boar, who carried him back to the cottage and his real body. Del—under the power of the Ring of Contrariness—provoked the Doctor Deputy into trying to steal her body, Shadow Nemesis calmed him by promising to take him shopping for a new one, and Tyler found himself at odds with Del over Rumpleforeskin, who suggested he try options other than homicide next time. Can the troupe fight off a vengeful spectral doll and a raging forest fire?

The troupe fought for the bodies and the lives of their friends. Del used the hand of the deceased Amena Savant to release Rumpleforeskin, Shadow Nemesis tried to knock out the possessed Doctor Deputy, but accidentally killed him, and Tyler negotiated with the doll inhabiting New Rogue to stop fighting. But in a tense moment, the doll stabbed New Rogue’s body, Tyler and Shadow Nemesis fought over how to get New Rogue back, and Del found herself suddenly wearing a Ring of Contrariness, unable to support Tyler. Will the Doctor Deputy be a doll forever, and can the troupe stop arguing long enough to save their friend?

The troupe fought to take back their real bodies! New Rogue was immediately eaten and carried off by an owl while his possessed body attacked the others, Tyler catapulted himself and Del upon the corpse of an owl to his own body and managed to needle himself back into it, Del leapt off Tyler’s head and onto her body, regaining possession of it, and Shadow Nemesis recovered New Rogue’s needle and—with three needles in hand—miraculously managed to stab himself back into his real body. Tyler has regretfully killed the body of Amena Savant and threatened the possessed bodies of New Rogue and the Doctor Deputy. Will he be forced to kill them too?

The doll forms of Wet Change made it out of their box and tried to find their bodies. Del was distraught over Rumpleforeskin and was haunted by the ghost of the innkeeper, New Rogue cracked his wooden butt getting to the floor but managed to find a magical collar amongst the bone horse’s bones, Tyler called to his bat familiar, Ivan, who spotted their bodies dancing in the woods, and Ivan started flying them to the woods, but as they were attacked by owls, Shadow Nemesis managed to crash them into the ground. Shadow Nemesis then called out to his symbiote, but inadvertently gave away their position. Will they ever get back into their real bodies?

After being stabbed in the ankles by living dolls and passing out, the troupe woke up to find themselves transformed into dolls and trapped in a box! Shadow Nemesis attacked Tyler before realizing who he was, Del tested a wand gifted to them by the Watchers but accidentally blasted Tyler into unconsciousness and shattered the doll form of a fellow captive, New Rogue tested his new healing powers and revived Tyler, and they all managed to boost Shadow Nemesis up to pick a lock and release them. Will the troupe find a way to regain their human forms and is there any hope for life in the scattered bones of Rumpleforeskin?

After the Clockwork Watch was easily dispatched by the citizens of Happy Town, the new dark lord was suddenly keen to leave the realm and the troupe entered a mysterious domain with their trusty bone horse. They were joined by the newly resurrected Doctor Deputy, met a strange creature called the Nilbog, and arrived at a cottage. Del, New Rogue, and Tyler felt uneasy about the cottage and its proprietor, but as night approached, they decided they were safer inside, so Del and Shadow Nemesis fell asleep, New Rogue kept watch, and Tyler found himself in a room with hundreds of porcelain dolls. But aren’t these dolls just dolls?

While Happy Town celebrated the “We Hate Shadow Nemesis” Festival, Wet Change found themselves in the Dark One’s castle, trying to determine their next move. New Rogue ventured into town to find out that the citizens only hate Shadow Nemesis, Tyler finally spoke with Ezra again and learned how Ravenloft works, Del was thrilled that her bone horse friend, Rumpleforeskin, is a mist-walker and can travel with them between domains, and everyone except Shadow Nemesis now floats and has a flying sword. Now that the new Dark One has set the Clockwork Watch upon Happy Town, can the rest of the troupe talk him down and prevent a bloodbath?

Welcome to Season Two of Jesters of Ravenloft! If you’re joining the show now, I’ll give you a quick recap! The sketch comedy troupe Wet Change were sucked into Ravenloft by Ezra, the god of the mists, and were changed by their journeys. Del became a bard who can talk to ghosts, Tyler turned green and became a combat wizard with massive horns, Guy Bradford died and lost all his memories becoming a cleric named New Rogue, and Adam was possessed by a Symbiote and slowly became corrupted by the evil around him. The troupe fought to escape their own personal nightmares and the all too real nightmarish enemies before them. Tyler and Shadow Nemesis figured out that when they were in contact, they both had Tyler’s immunity to the nightmares and Shadow Nemesis’s ability to see in the dark, so they fought their way to Del and woke her up. But Tyler was struck down by the Bailiff, Shadow Nemesis broke contact to throw Tyler’s pinky in to New Rogue’s ear, and when another nightmare wave hit them, Shadow Nemesis was lost in his fears and the rest were once again left to fumble around in the dark. Is there any hope stuck in a terrifying combat with an enemy who feeds off their fear?

The troupe faced their trial and were found guilty. Shadow Nemesis was offered a place beside the Dark One, and when he refused, they were all plunged into combat in the dark, but New Rogue had distracted the Clockwork Watch earlier to smuggle their weapons inside. Tyler was led by the Reality Blade to Shadow Nemesis, who could see in the dark through the power of the Black Knight’s helmet, and he realized that Ezra had intentionally sent them to find the three items that might let them win this fight. With Del, New Rogue, and Shadow Nemesis having been plunged into nightmares, Tyler left in the darkness, and Ezra nowhere to be found, can the troupe escape their sentence?

The troupe are going to mount a legal defence, but also attempt to smuggle weapons into their trial, just in case. Del talked with Tyler about her moral turmoil at having killed people in Ravenloft, Tyler passed the bar—so to speak—and was declared the best lawyer in town by the local solicitor, New Rogue tried on some gloves and booties that should protect his friends from his ghost limbs but instead melted a blacksmith hobbyist’s family heirlooms, and Shadam realized they were probably overthinking things and should just stuff their weapons in his bag of holding. The trial for their lives is about to begin. Do the jesters have a chance?

The troupe and all of Happy Town were visited by the terrifying spectral face of the Dark One in the sky! They have to report to the Dark One, Judge Karma, for trial, or their friends’ lives will be forfeit. Tyler couldn’t contact Ezra and noticed the mists looking strangely dark and solid, New Rogue prayed and decided that Del’s boar went to heaven, Shadam was called out by Hazel’s grandmother, who is going to tell everyone that Shadam is a murderer, and Del—in frustration and desperation—begged Shadam to just be a person. Shadam has been charmed by Shadow Master into listening to Del, but will any of it matter if they’re found guilty?

Happy Town was attacked by the Clockwork Watch, but the townsfolk, the Vistani, and the troupe all fought back! New Rogue set a bunch of the robotic police on fire with his sacred flame and Tyler did some major damage with an icy spell, both breaking the enemy’s ranks and allowing the town to push them back. Del directed her boar into the battle, but it was immediately killed and, as New Rogue tried to spare its life, it exploded. Meanwhile, Shadam used the cover of battle to lure Gilderoy Zindi out of sight, and then killed him, and ate his brain and half his body. Will the troupe discover Shadam’s newest crime?

The troupe fought off the rats from the hat! After the play, which seemed remarkably similar to the plot of Quantumania, Shadow Master recognized one of the Vistani and commanded Shadam to kill him, Del was pressured by the bards into becoming a candidate in a snap election for their new leader, running against Rupert Darrlin, and when Rupert’s speech seemed to be better than Del’s, New Rogue pelted meat at him and the rest of the bards eagerly joined in. At the same time, Tyler climbed a tower only to spot hundreds of the Dark One’s soldiers approaching the town. Can he warn his friends in time to give them and the town a fighting chance?

The traveling Vistani are putting on a show in Happy Town! Del convinced the local bards to stop following Rupert Darrlin, New Rogue accidentally hurt Tyler with his hands again, and Tyler became aware that Shadow Jimmy, Glow, and the Omega Sergeant were all giving him dirty looks. Meanwhile, Shadam bullied Paul Rudd until he realized the townsfolk were all watching in terror and then tried to play it off as a performance. The mists then gifted Shadam a magic hat, out of which poured a bunch of rats that started furiously biting him. Is Shadam really about to meet his end from a karmic gift of rats in a hat?

The troupe concluded their training! Tyler completed his malodourous, combative lessons to become a Bladesinger, Del started sketching out spells to help tidy up the town and discovered that her D&D pokeball animals only live for a day, Shadow Rogue learned to be briefer in his prayers and started to feel Ezra’s presence, and Shadam unlearned all his healthy coping mechanisms and learned to channel his anger into even more violence. Hazel read the letter from her dad that Shadam had forged, and now she and the squire don’t trust Tyler. Will the troupe work through their division and will their friendship outlast their mission?

The heroes of Wet Change are mastering new skills in preparation to face the Dark One! Shadow Rogue studied with a cleric and realized he needed to pray outside of moments of crisis, Del butted heads with the arrogant leader of the bards but learned some spells along the way, Shadam channeled his rage alongside the barbarian leader, and Tyler had the shit kicked out of him by a crazy old man until magic happened. Shadam also wrote a devious letter to Shadow Jimmy attempting to convince her to stay loyal to him and distrust Tyler. Will the troupe manage to complete their training before the town is attacked again?!

Back in Happy Town after defeating the lizardfolk, the troupe chose the guilds they want to learn from. Shadow Rogue spoke with Tyler and realized the puppet show Ezra put on was heavily inaccurate, leading those two to reconnect with a trust fall, Del received a D&D pokeball, which produced a weasel for her and a giant rat she gave to Shadam, and Shadam grew secretly determined that Ezra is the villain of this story, swearing to destroy Ezra soon but playing along with the god’s plans for now. Will the troupe’s training go off without a hitch and fully prepare them to face the Dark One?

Having defeated the Lizard Mayor, the troupe set out back to Happy Town. Shadow Nemesis—now calling himself “Shadam”—tried and failed to take charge of the Lizardfolk, Shadow Rogue took pity on the squire and tried to connect with him, Tyler used skills bestowed upon him by Ezra to lead them safely back to shore, and Del was able to concentrate over the new ghost voices in her head just enough to steer them back to Happy Town. They have one week to train before facing the Dark One, but will Shadam find a balance between good and evil and finally give Del a break from doing an unreasonable amount of emotional labour?

The troupe fought the chieftain of the Lizardfolk! Shadow Nemesis tried to eat Hazel after she accidentally shot him in the eye but Tyler calmed him with a healing potion, Shadow Rogue got his hands on the lizard but his attack had no effect, Tyler struck the lizard with his greatsword but the sword shattered, and Del—realizing they might need more than physical weapons—reached into a glowing bloody basin, pulled out the Reality Blade, heard Werner Herzog’s voice in her head, and used the blade to draw a giant flying arrowhead that pierced the lizard. They have their three items, but will it be enough to take on the Dark One?

The troupe reached the temple at the top of the ziggurat and decided to wait for Adam to join them. Del did a card trick to pass the time, but was really bad at it, Tyler disguised himself as a Lizardfolk to venture into the temple, and Shadow Rogue proposed that they pretend to be prisoners to get further inside. When Adam—now styling himself as ‘Shadow Nemesis’—finally arrived, he mistook Del and Shadow Rogue for actual prisoners, and Hazel-Jimmy tried to shoot at Tyler, but seriously injured Adam instead. Is Adam—I mean ‘Shadow Nemesis’—so hangry and evil now that he’ll eat his own adopted daughter?

The troupe managed to survive the blast from the squire’s gems! Shadow Rogue received a Lifewell tattoo from the Mists, Adam congratulated Hazel on taking a life and encouraged her to keep doing evil things, Tyler overheard their conversation and confronted Adam about having not reformed his evil ways, and he, Del, and Shadow Rogue got sick of Adam’s behaviour and started making their way up the ziggurat. The three of them reached the top, only to find disturbing imagery of bloody sacrifices and murder, which seems to portend what lies ahead. But will they be facing the horrors alone, or will Adam stop being selfish and help them?

While the rest of the troupe had been setting sail, Shadow Rogue watched a puppet show of the events of his life, albeit a bit skewed toward Ezra’s best guesses, before popping back to the troupe with a general sense of his life before his amnesia. Adam was gifted a Bag of Holding from the Watchers, the troupe was gifted a shield, which Tyler wielded, and, as Pteranodons dropped more Lizardfolk upon them, Del threatened the squire into finding out that these new attackers were controlled by the Dark One and not friendly at all. Omega Sergeant has just hurled two explosives at the enemy, but is he about to hit the troupe instead? I hope so.

Adam tried to annoy Shadow Master into leaving him with his incessant singing, Tyler received a very Useful cloak as a birthday gift from the Mist, Del became completely flustered as she shared a moment with Kat, and Kat proved essential with her nautical skills as they set out on a ship toward the Lizardfolk. Can the troupe survive a fight with the Lizardfolk on their home turf at night? I doubt it.

1.13 - Setting Sail toward the Lizardfolk

The troupe were once again met by the shadowy figure, who declared that the Dark One—furious about the defeat of the Skinless—had removed the Spiderfolk and brought forth a more dangerous horror: the Lizardfolk. They returned to Happy Town to find the Skinless reintegrating with the citizens and met Paul Rudd, the new mayor. Tyler faced the permanence of his new appearance, he and Shadow Rogue were convinced that Adam would reform his brain-eating ways, but a skeptical Del confronted Adam, who began to regret bonding with Shadow Master. Will the symbiote let him go? I doubt it.

1.12 - You Gotta Change Up the Key Words

The troupe went through the hell door and faced down a demon to save Werner. Adam used Werner as a human shield, who was then partly eaten by the demon, Del saved Tyler by knocking the demon into a cauldron of bloodr, and Shadow Rogue pinned the demon beneath the surface using his Immovable Rod. When Adam started eating the rest of Werner’s body, the troupe attacked him in protest, but Shadow Rogue accidentally hit Tyler with a rock, and Del just punched a wall. With the transformed laurel on his head, will Tyler ever be able to change back from the green, horned monster he’s become?

The troupe ventured into the caves to save Werner Herzog and fought off some Skinless, a werewolf, and a demon! Del was unintentionally hurt by Shadow Rogue, first when she high-fived him without thinking and again when he tried to heal her, Adam picked up a decapitated Skinless head to supposedly check for traps but then tasted its brain, and Tyler found a mysterious door and offered the laurel crown to Shadow Rogue. Will the hell door lead them to Werner and will Shadow Rogue finally be able to talk directly to his god, Ezra?

The troupe had been captured by the Dark One’s servants and brought to the Skinless because they’d defeated the Black Knight. The Skinless liked Del’s skin the best, Shadow Rogue started to remember various pop culture references, and Adam convinced a recently-skinless Peter Nutter to let them out of their cage only to promptly eat him to the horror of the others. Tyler brought them all close to him to speak with Shadow Master through the power of Ezra, but their concerns about Adam remained. Having just escaped, will they be able to fight their way back into the caves to save Werner? I doubt it.

The troupe returned to Happy Town and were met with a parade in their honour. Shadow Rogue started praying to Ezra through song, while Tyler tried to strategize with Werner Herzog but instead scared Werner so much, that the mayor renounced his atheism and joined in singing praise to Ezra. Del became drinking buddies and good friends with Rumpleforeskin, and Adam questioned some wizards about gaining more power and convinced Shadow Rogue to believe anything he says. Now that they’ve woken up in cages amongst the Skinless, is there any chance they’ll still have their skins by morning?

The troupe called upon Ezra to bring Guy back to life, but he came back with ghostly hands and no memory and renamed himself Shadow Rogue. Del tried to rally them all to hurry up so they could get Tyler the medical help he urgently needed, but as they left the ruined temple, Adam got distracted: first by the squires, who he recruited to fight the Spider Folk, and then by the new voice in his head, a symbiote he named Shadow Master. Will Adam actually torture a wizard to get more powers?

Having made it past the slime mummies, the troupe met Rumpleforeskin, an intelligent skeletal horse who offered to help them defeat the Black Knight. Del stood atop the human pyramid of the troupe, removed the Knight’s helm, and stabbed him, thus beginning a desperate combat. Tyler grappled him, Del got locked in a psychic battle, Adam picked up the helm, which then chose to bond with him, and Guy died. Wait, is Guy actually dead-dead?

The troupe finally entered the ruined temple of Ezra and began fighting off the Black Knight’s defences! Del took a stand against three Nightmare Dogs, but ultimately ran away as Adam distracted one of them with pizza, Guy accidentally released a slime monster when he hurled a sarcophagus lid at the pursuing dogs, and Tyler threw himself onto the lid of another sarcophagus, also containing a slime. At the rate they’re getting injured, will they even make it to the Black Knight?

Guy impressed Smokewing with his archery skills, Del and Tyler frightened the Rogues, Tyler was gifted a Death Loop Watch from the Watchers, and Adam’s armour design impressed the Fighters so much, he was assumed to be Chosen One. Will the Chosen One and his entourage live up to the prophecy of the grand fighters that will save Happy Town?
