With everything that would come after, how long would this golden night last?
And whose face would be immortalized on the statues that would one day fall apart?

Look at all these contracts — he didn’t just buy out the other three promotions, he devoured them. He gobbled these rosters up like a Hungry, Hungry Hippo hammering down on all those little marbles — that’s what the game was called, right? Hungry Hungry Hippos? For a second I felt like that was wrong…I swear, I’m losing bits and pieces every day. We all know turning 60 is the big goodbye, but turning 50 ain’t no picnic either.

It’s not for everyone, sure. It’s loud, it invites anger, and my old man never liked how the women got hit — never mind that at least they were allowed to hit back. But it’s real enough, because the kicks are real, the bruises are real, and the energy you feel when you’re swept up in a “This Is Awesome” chant — there’s no way that much energy can be fake.
Pro Wrestling is as real as the protests, it’s as real as those parties we go to — and at least when people get hurt in wrestling it’s supposed to happen. I
t’s honestly kind of funny — I feel safer at the wrestling shows than I do at school sometimes.

Alright store, really great backlog and reasonable prices.
Howevr, the store is really lacking in vibes. The energy is off. I think there used to be a different owner and back then they were always trying to push extra stuff on you and upsell you (I think that’s what it’s called). But now it’s kind of like they don’t care if you’re there or not? Which is kind of chill but also kind of a drag when you’re really trying to find something.

In most cities, in most countries, justice is monolithic. Justice is a proper noun, the capital-J all but implied when its mighty name is uttered aloud. But not so in Lari. Here, we have as many different justices as the compass has cardinal directions. The justice of the coast, as determined by the salty air and the hard-fought lives of those who sail those dreadful waters, differs wildly from the polite, forward-facing, and immutable justice of parliament.

Mind your step on matters of Justice within our boundaries. The exchange rate from court to court can be steep, and the language of the Law doesn’t always translate. To navigate safely, you’ll need some kind of guide.

No one likes to believe in rumors, but most people enjoy passing them around. What’s the harm, right? There’s no way most of them are true. It strains credulity to believe that, for example, Billy Riley really has royal blood in his veins (royal to whom? From where?), or that Susan Santiago hasn’t slept in two years, and she spends each night pacing the halls with her eyes a milky white?

Such stories are the stuff of schoolyard gossip. The truth, far stranger, is often harder to speak aloud.
