2/8 · Where Lauren Explores Cognac’s Terroir… At Her Own Risk
Fri, 20 Jun 2025 07:21:42 GMT
🐓 Lauren thought she was getting a history lesson. She got a rooster, a French winemaker named Jean-Jacques, and a masterclass in terroir.
Anthony Hardy takes Lauren on an immersive trip through the chalky soils and vine-covered hills of Charente—without ever leaving the studio. Expect lessons in Fine Champagne (not that Champagne), aging barrels, and the mysterious sounds of angelic evaporation. Sip slowly. And watch out for the poultry.
Another audacious chapter from Lauren & Hardy, where spirits are high, and higher still when aged in oak.
