Episode 5: The Soulmate, Revisited

Sun, 13 Apr 2025 11:41:57 GMT

In this episode, Ares is back from Mount Olympus. There’s dinner, a bridge, a bedroom. Aphrodite insists this is what love looks like. The Poet takes notes.

This chapter revisits the first archetype; now with new context, new promises, and a constellation drawn in permanent marker.

This episode explores what it means to be wanted, the weight of bruises mistaken for meaning, and why intimacy might not be the whole story.

Content note: This episode explores themes of intimacy, power, and blurred boundaries. Listener discretion is advised.

Performers:

Natasha Rene Jimenez as Aphrodite
Ludovico Tommasi as Ares
Nemo as The Poet

Created by Nemo

Special Thanks: Natasha, Sasha, my parents, the talented actors without whom this project would simply not exist.

Episode 4: The Third Archetype

Tue, 01 Apr 2025 21:11:24 GMT

In this episode, Aphrodite introduces her third archetype: Nerites, a former lover known for his beauty, distance, and refusal to follow her onto land. In the present day, he’s “Nick,” a charming but emotionally removed man who avoids intimacy under the guise of freedom. Set at the Met Cloisters and a Manhattan hotel, this episode asks what happens when love crosses boundaries, and whether being wanted is ever the same as being cared for.

Content note: This episode includes emotionally intense themes, including boundary crossing, sex, and non-consensual dynamics. Please take care while listening.

Performers:

Natasha Rene Jimenez as Aphrodite

Robert den Dekker as Nerites

Nemo as The Poet
