Synopsis:

Trapped in an old and unfamiliar house by a snowstorm, college student Beau Walton discovers amongst the belongings of his deceased relative a collection of mysterious tape recordings, which slowly drag him deeper into a web of tragedy and conspiracy decades old, as they become embroiled in the life and unnatural deeds of the mysterious and enigmatic Victor Frankenstein... A modernised adaptation of Mary Shelley's classic novel, "The Frankenstein Files" combines modern and gothic horror sensibilities, interweaving the past and present in the parallel lives of its protagonists.

Victor finds himself out of his element when it comes to settling into his college dorm and adjusting to the presence of his roommate, instead immersing himself in his studies to cope with the change in environment. Beau pieces together more of Percy's interests and their connections to the tapes, only to find himself questioning which pieces are relevant to the puzzle he's found himself in.

Whilst Victor gets a surprise visitor as he prepares to leave for college, and says his goodbyes to loved ones, Beau sets about finding a generator to return power to the house, and uncovers another collection of pieces to the mystery around him.

With no way of leaving due to the snowstorm, Beau begins listening through the collected tapes at the earliest date recorded, in an attempt to piece together who Victor Frankenstein was, and what led to the unsettling events of the previous recording. The tape, however, provides a view into a much more sentimental and domestic moment in the stranger's life...

Whilst sorting through the belongings of their recently deceased cousin, college student Beau Walton discovers a box of cassette tapes hidden in the corner of the attic, seemingly containing the final, rambling records of a stranger from over fifty years prior, and bearing the simple message: "Keep Them Safe".


Snowed-in in the unfamiliar house, without electricity or connection to the outside world, Beau begins recording his thoughts to sooth his nerves as he uncovers the mysterious life of Victor Frankenstein...
