This is it! The actual very end of the story! It's still Halloween night for poor Ryan, but maybe not for too much longer. Spoiler?: Yes, we see inside the trunk! If you haven't heard any of this story, then I urge you to start at episode one so it makes sense. This is the terrifying tale of a poor soul with a tragic past of his own making as he faces mind shattering horrors in an isolated old mansion. This experimental horror audio drama serial was partially scripted and partially improvised. It was initially meant as a challenge to create and release a chapter every day of October with the big finish on Halloween night- alas, illness and life complications got in my way --along with the fact that my vision of the tale began to take form in much longer episodes than I originally intended. This episode and all the others rely heavily on music and sound effects from freesound.org and it's generous audio artists. Since I've been so far behind, AND since the last episode was looking to be of ENORMOUS length, I decided to release it in smaller chunks rather than make everyone wait even longer. I REALLY tried my best to meet the challenge of doing an episode a day, but between being sick for over a month, trying to maintain quality, and allowing the story to breathe and grow, I just couldn't bring myself to go any faster. So this is the beginning of the end... If you're new to this horror audio drama, you should really start at the first episode or it's going to be tough to follow. I expect there will be at least 2-3 more chunks of the finale left -- and they will be released very soon. All of the dialogue is recorded and edited. I'm just working on sound effects and mixing at this point. Thanks for your patience!

Episode 30 of my 31 part horror audio drama! I was trying to release an episode every day until Halloween-- Well, I'm late...but just because Halloween came and went, that doesn't mean I have to stop! I apologize for the delay but I guess being sick for so long really did knock me for a loop. Also, as this has been a very experimental series, the episodes have been getting longer and longer as I near the finish-- this is so that I can adequately pay off what has been set up and tie up loose ends. If you've ever worked on a project like this, you know it takes more time to refine and edit work to make it shorter-- and I was hustling daily to try and be done by Halloween! This show was barely scripted and was about 70% improvised during recording. I've been working on the show for 6-10 hours a day every single day since September 29th, so trust me, I haven't been asleep at the wheel-- though at times I was asleep with a fever just like the one poor Ryan had. Anyway, enjoy! I'll get the final episode out within the next day or two! I never quit even when the universe shoves plague into my lungs!
