We've Gotta Get Out of Here!: Wrong Exit
Sat, 24 May 2025 04:00:00 GMT
Tale as old as time– you try to drive your newly-ex boyfriend home after he breaks up with you and you’re so busy fighting with him that you take a wrong turn straight into a pocket dimension. Classic.
Ellie and James, two average twenty-somethings from San Jose, have found themselves in a very not-average situation. They’re stuck in a desert wasteland where there’s auroras in the sky every night, the buildings disappear if you look away too long, and there’s apparently a diner run by zombies? Cool.
They have to– for the most part, at least– put their differences aside for now, work with the denizens of this place (even if they’re a human-sized leech who runs a motel), and get the hell out of Here.

In a world where part of the population has superhuman abilities, those with powers who commit even the smallest crimes receive much harsher sentences than a normal person. When prisons begin to become far too overcrowded, the Kairos Program is enacted, taking those with useful powers and minor criminal records, and repurposing them as heroes in exchange for reducing their sentence to zero. When a lowly thief, now known as Gamut, is offered a spot in the program, they eagerly take the opportunity, not truly realizing the gravity of the role they now play in this world of heroes and villains.

In the year 2043, a private research coalition known as ORION funds an ambition mission aboard the ISS—an experiment in closed loop life support and the future of long term space habitation.
Then, the unthinkable happens, a catastrophic cascade of orbital debris severs communications, the international crew aboard the ISS finds themselves stranded—cut off, drifting, and forced to watch as the world ends below.
With just 15 months before orbital decay brings them back to a dead planet, trust begins to crack, secrets surface, and the real purpose of the mission becomes impossible to ignore.
It was never about saving the world. It was about what comes after.

A year has passed since the collapse of New Olympus, a space society created decades prior by the earth's governments looking to start a new life on an exoplanet. Doomed to fail from the start, New Olympus' citizens feared the end of the world once and witnessed the collapse of their safe haven a second time, left scattered in makeshift camps across the galactic wasteland, with no intent to return to the ruins of their former colony. However, one haphazard crew of survivors embarks on a brave—or foolish—journey to search for a still-missing friend amidst the wreckage.
