Synopsis:
Months after finding out a friend had disappeared and was presumed dead, the host of the Where The Trail Ends podcast discovered an unplayed voicemail from them. It led to the discovery of recordings that appear to contain evidence of UFO encounters the friend had begun having on hikes. Since then the host has been on a mission to discover the truth about his missing friend and an explanation for the startling evidence that was left behind. And he needs your help...

The host wakes up to a whole new world and processes what he's seen. He can't escape the unsettling truth about one of the recordings and its implications and struggles to somehow find a way to move forward. When he starts to think more clearly, he decides it's time to get others involved to help provide answers. Ultimately disappointed that no help is coming, he stumbles upon an unexpected resource and decides to take his first steps on his ongoing journey.

As the host finally reviews the recordings his missing friend had left for him he is utterly shocked by their contents. At first he questions and tries to explain away what he’s seeing, but it also triggers a memory from a camping trip they’d taken the year prior, when his friend revealed they’d begun having UFO encounters on their hikes. Later the host is caught completely off guard when he learns that an encounter happened the very night of that conversation.

After finding mysterious and outdated recordings left to him by his missing friend, the host must scramble to find a way to play them. Wondering about their contents, he comes to expect a more terrestrial explanation believing his friend had likely left some sort of video diary. Because of the strange circumstances of his friend's disappearance, the host was prepared for them to contain some sort of explanation. Instead what he sees forever changes the course of his life and beliefs.

Episode 2: A Message From A Missing Person

In this episode of Where The Trail Ends, the host plays an overlooked voicemail from his missing friend left only two weeks before they were last seen. Believing the voicemail contained the location of some sort of diary or note that may help explain his friend’s disappearance he decides to go looking for answers. After getting a key from his friend’s neighbor, he gains access to his friend’s home following the clue they’d left and makes a startling and unexpected discovery.
