Welcome to the Continent of Kalus. A couple weeks journey from the burning island of Nadar by sea. Kalus is Home to the Royal Port City of Regias on the east coast along with the Powerful Capital of Magi to the north, home to the arcane council. Magic Thrives in Kalus as the Arcane Empire is in their Golden Age and has been for quite some time. The Arcane Crystals sit atop their towers like gods looking down upon their subjects from their thrones. They illuminate the night sky in a glorious dark blue, as a reminder of what was sacrificed to get Kalus to the state that it is now.
The current year is 3624 AW (After War) and something lurks under the blanket of hope waiting, biding its time, like a predator stalking prey, waiting for the right moment to pounce. But that is for later.
We Open at the Scraven Inn in the Smaller City of Fortuna where a night of Merriment has just begun. Drinks are being ordered and the crowds are getting rowdy as an adventuring party comes back from a job with gold in hand, ready to celebrate a job well done.
