The world has changed forever. Purple fog hangs thick in the air as two planes of existence fight for dominance after Alyssum's defeat. Without sunlight, crops wither, society crumbles, and strange new threats emerge from the shadows.

Vance Ironside and Dolomir Sedrin find themselves outside the walls of Union City, the capital of the Oathmakers Coalition, searching for information about the dark entities that have invaded their reality. What was once a gleaming center of governance has descended into chaos in just one month—trash piles up in wealthy districts, tents line the streets, and crime runs rampant without consequence.

When they finally meet their contact, Balin Zenwish, they discover something far more terrifying than they anticipated. The spectral beings plaguing the city look like ordinary people but cause searing psychic pain with their touch. When defeated, they simply melt away, leaving no trace behind. Only radiant damage and holy water seem effective against them.

But the true horror reveals itself in the resistance headquarters beneath an abandoned bar. There, reunited with their old ally Essel, they make a chilling discovery: not only can these entities appear human, but they can perfectly impersonate people—even those who have existed for years before the dimensional merge. A simple test with holy water exposes infiltrators hiding among trusted friends, fundamentally changing everything they thought they knew about this new threat.

The dimensional collision hasn't just transformed the physical world; it's created a crisis of trust where nothing can be taken at face value. As our heroes plan their next move toward the mysterious magical concentration in the northeast district, they must now question every relationship and every face they encounter.

S02E15 - Back To Reality (there goes Rabbit he...)

The puzzle mansion awaits our heroes as they step into a labyrinth of numbered doors, each one potentially leading to treasure—or trouble. Vance, Dolo, and Daith quickly discover that this is no ordinary challenge—doors change their numbers when closed, and what lies beyond shifts with each new entry. Their detective work pays off as they navigate blue rooms, red rooms, and green rooms in search of the crystal powering Alyssum's dark magic.

When Dolo attempts to pick a seemingly innocent jewelry box, the team gets more than they bargained for as it transforms into a miniature mimic, chomping down on our unsuspecting thief! The encounter yields a golden key, propelling them further into the mansion's mysteries. After collecting treasures including muffled scale armor and uncovering hidden compartments, the heroes finally locate the pulsing red crystal they've been seeking.

The decision to destroy the crystal proves consequential—reality itself begins to tear at the seams with each strike of Vance's warhammer. Suddenly transported to a void-like arena, our heroes face Alyssum in a desperate final confrontation. Ballistas fire as they navigate makeshift cover, while Daith's Hunter's Mark reveals their enemy's location among the chaos. The battle culminates with an arrow through Alyssum's head just as she reaches for an escape portal.

Their victory comes at a tremendous cost. The destruction of the crystal and death of Alyssum causes two realms to violently collide, plunging the entire continent into darkness. Spectral beings and shadow warlords once hidden now wreak havoc across the land. Our heroes have successfully destroyed the villain, but in doing so, they've exposed a shadow organization and unleashed an even greater threat upon the world.

What started as a mission to stop one necromancer has evolved into something far more catastrophic. How will our heroes address the consequences of their actions? Will they find a way to restore balance to a world now plunged into chaos? The adventure continues as an entirely new chapter unfolds.

S02E14 - Up Through The Floor Boards

The mansion becomes a maze of horrors as Vance, Dolo, and their new companion Daith are forced to split up. While Daith phases through walls and Dolo tests the boundaries of this half-real dimension, Vance confronts something deeply disturbing: children being transformed into monstrous golems by a familiar necromancer. This discovery strips away Vance's usual levity, revealing a fierce protector with possible trauma in his past.

What begins as a simple escape mission transforms into something far more crucial when they discover Alyssum's true intentions. Through a necromancer's journal written in Infernal, they learn of a powerful crystal that could absorb their entire home plane, using it as fuel to make the Ethereal Realm more "real." Their mission becomes clear: find and destroy this crystal before their world becomes nothing more than raw material for Alyssum's ambitions.

The tension builds as spirits pursue them through the mansion's corridors, forcing our heroes to rely on quick thinking and unique abilities. Every room brings new revelations, every encounter raises the stakes, until they finally reunite with a shared purpose – to stop Alyssum's plan at all costs.

Welcome to a mind-bending journey through the veil of reality! After narrowly escaping an ambush, our heroes make their way into Silverkeep—the glittering metropolis of Soldeus built upon natural silver deposits that attract every mover and shaker in the realm.

There, they meet Galora, a halfling who presents them with magical gifts and leads them to an underground meeting with a secret organization. The elven wizard Karim, orc commander Dulik, and dimensional scout Daith (our special guest played by Rev from The Crit Show) reveal their plan: instead of fighting Alyssum's endless illusions in the material world, they'll strike directly at their source by entering her own ethereal realm.

Armed with enchanted weapons and magical tomes that allow Dolo to transmute his fire magic into more effective elements, our party prepares to cross between planes. But when the ritual to open the portal succeeds, only Vance, Dolo, and Daith are pulled through before the gateway seals—leaving them isolated in a world where thought shapes reality.

Inside Alyssum's mansion, normal rules no longer apply. Windows only break when you truly believe they can. Traps spring not just from physical triggers but from expectations. As our heroes navigate this uncanny environment, they trigger a slide trap that sends them tumbling into a cathedral-like chamber filled with spectral warriors, their heads bowed in silent prayer before an altar drenched in blood.

Just when they think they might escape unnoticed, Alyssum herself appears, revealing her sinister plans. She claims Vance and Daith have unwittingly taken portions of her power, which she intends to reclaim, while Dolo's magic will be drained to create portals throughout the land. S02E12 - Shadows and Stabbos

The quiet hum of a cargo ship cutting through ocean waters quickly gives way to chaos as our heroes arrive at the Soldeus port only to face an ambush they never saw coming. 

Vance Ironsides' special vision suddenly becomes both blessing and curse as he identifies strange shadow creatures disguised as ordinary dock workers throughout the port. His desperate whispered warning to Dolo and Dudley transforms what should have been a routine docking into a fight for survival. These aren't ordinary enemies—they're shadow people, beings literally made of darkness who have infiltrated the port and seem determined to prevent our heroes from completing their mission for Silva.

What follows is a desperate scramble through the port as the team attempts to reach the city proper. Dolo's quick thinking and magical abilities clash against the unnatural powers of these shadow beings, while Dudley's remarkable archery skills become their greatest asset. When the shadow people block their escape route, Dudley makes the crucial discovery that certain crates on the dock contain explosives—the same materials that could clear their path forward.

In the most heart-wrenching moment of their journey yet, Dudley sacrifices himself to ensure Vance and Dolo's escape. As their cart races toward the city entrance, Dudley launches one perfect, heroic shot at an explosive crate, creating an opening through the shadow blockade. The blast propels him backward into the spreading flames engulfing the docks, while Vance and Dolo push onward into Soldeus with their cart, horses (both named Brandon, of course), and their companion Av.

Now separated from Dudley and still unclear about the full scope of their mission, Vance and Dolo must navigate a foreign city filled with unknown dangers. The shadow people clearly don't want them in Soldeus—but why? What secrets might they uncover as they search for the contact Silva promised would be waiting? And what became of Dudley after his heroic last stand?

The underground markets hold more than exotic trinkets and black market goods—they conceal the entrance to a vast network of power players working beyond the reach of law and crown. When Vance, Dolo, and their new companion Dudley Wayne Budley find themselves descending beneath the dockside markets, they're stepping into a world where magic and politics intertwine with deadly consequences.

What starts as a simple transaction spirals into chaos when Dolo impulsively puts on a mysterious amulet, causing it to painfully fuse with his skin. The decision unleashes a shocking revelation as Alyssum—the woman who had previously captured our heroes—briefly possesses Dolo's body through the artifact. The trio quickly learns that removing the amulet might prove fatal, forcing a difficult choice: risk death or learn to control a magical item that threatens to steal Dolo's autonomy.

Deeper still, they meet Silva, the enigmatic leader of this underground organization, who reveals the true nature of the ongoing war. The conflict between Soldeus and Mystria is merely a facade, masking a power struggle between four shadowy figures controlling nations from behind the scenes. Alyssum, it seems, has her grip on Soldeus, while other equally dangerous players command their own territories. Silva offers our adventurers a proposition—infiltrate Alyssum's organization to undermine her influence, using the very amulet that now grants Dolo new magical abilities despite its dangerous connection.

Armed with emergency skywriting scrolls, golden emblems of Silva's organization, and newfound knowledge of the world's secret power structure, our heroes board a boat bound for Soldeus. But as they depart, Silva pulls Dudley aside with a separate, secret mission—planting seeds of potential conflict within the group just as they venture into enemy territory.

The stakes have never been higher, the magic never more dangerous, and the lines between allies and enemies never more blurred. How long can Dolo resist the amulet's influence? What awaits our adventurers in Soldeus? And what secret mission has Dudley accepted?

Creating abominations and bringing spectral entities into reality - a plan that thankfully fell apart before completion.

With Dolo's fiery culinary weapon delivering the final blow, the adventurers free imprisoned soldiers and claim their unlikely spoils: a cave hideout, wolf pelts, mysterious infernal books, and an amulet that causes searing pain and invasive thoughts when worn. Their newfound team name, "The Necrowolves," seems particularly fitting given the circumstances.

The air thrums with dark energy as they discover a captain's diary revealing increasing paranoia, strange eyes watching in the night, and soldiers disappearing after behaving oddly. When dawn breaks, the party awakens surrounded by spectral wolves – ethereal creatures that observe but don't attack, their glowing eyes burning into our heroes' minds.

Following a trail east, they discover a cave entrance decorated with real wolf corpses mounted on stakes – a macabre mirror to the spectral pack that stalked them. Inside, overwhelming necrotic energy pours forth "like a water faucet turned on," and deeper exploration reveals soldiers trapped in magical trances, unresponsive to rescue attempts.

In the central chamber, they confront the source of this corruption – a skeletal figure in robes with fabricated skin patches, ranting about betrayal.
