"Come in," he heard his father shout back. He walked into the paperwork-filled office to see his dad signing and reading papers with a quill and
ink.
"Glad to see you give me an excuse to put the pen down. I hate this
pen," the Grand Reaper said, he looked like a man at that time.
"Then why not use a Biro," asked his son.
"Fate says we must use a quill and ink to keep up the Gothic look of the
place," said the Grand Reaper, “he likes to have his way as you know."
"Yes," said the Necromancer.
"What brings you to my dingy little office?" said the Grand Reaper.
"I wanted to tell you something you should know about," said the Necromancer, "an illegal haunting."
"I will deal with it," said the Grand Reaper, "tell me about it."

Dr Blake Alexander aka Mortimer is caught by the police saving his son's life his mugshot is a hit with the police He must confront his great uncle the policeman magician with the truth he is dead and has been protecting his son from the law. How will the policeman react? How can Blake ever live this down? "Blake I've got bad news the Necromancer will die today," said his employer Fate Argent Lumiere knowing the father would need time to get used to his son's death. "How?" asked the crying father. "The police will shoot him," said Fate. "Have a drink man you need it," said Fate handing Blake a drink he made appear out of thin air. Blake drank it down in a gulp and started coughing coking on the drink. Not long later a desperate father with nothing to lose stood on the scene of his son's death crying driven insane by the death of his son. "What are you doing, here Dad," asked Blake's son seeing him crying he hugged him. "What is it dad?" asked the son. "I came to save your life you are going to be shot by the police here and die," said the father. "I'm touched!" said the shocked son. "Go run boy! Now! " said Blake "They are here listening to us." The Necromancer disappeared into thin air the police piled in the room. Blake knew if he tried anything he would be dead too. "Mortimer don't move or you are dead," said a policeman he recognized as his great uncle Reynard or Simon. "I will give up peacefully," said Blake who looked human and was masked he was dressed in a black shirt and trousers knowing he'd be seen he was disguised. The grim reaper sat drinking a cup of coffee as a man in his office peacefully until his son ran in his office. "Dad you won't believe it the moon has hatched!" The Necromancer shouted. His father choked on his coffee.
"You alright Dad?" asked Lance worried.
"Yes, you psycho! The moon did what?" Blake, his dad said to his serial killer son.
"This is more important than you and me! The moon has hatched It was an egg!" Lance said hardly believing it himself and he saw it with his own eyes.
"Ok, I'll try to prioritize! What came out a mega space chicken?" asked Blake who was also the emperor of the solar system.
"If only it was a space chicken!" Lance said sadly.
"Then what hatched from it?" Ask his father.
"A giant space locust!" said Lance.
"Oh no they are world killers, they are worse than you!" said Blake,"They lay eggs in planets!" said Blake standing.
"Dad I am fate's-" Lance moaned.
"Assassin!" Blake interrupted.
"Whatever! We have a solar system to protect!" said Lance.
" Ok, then come on boy we need to get help," Blake said.
They ran out of the office. Through the gates of the other world and into the dimensional portal leading to the Earth and appeared in Blake's backyard. They paused slightly seeing the locust!
"Oh my God!" Blake said seeing the giant planet killer. It resembled a praying mantis. "It looks like fate wonder if they're related?" Lance said.
"Wouldn't surprise me he's insane, sending you off to kill people he doesn't like!" Blake said "I've not seen a space locust before," Blake stood in awe of the beast. Music by suno ai and song lyrics by Author

"It's dark tonight I hope we aren't seen," a man said to his partner in crime.
"It's like the old days we climb in a window and pray not to get caught," said the thief who was known as the Chameleon to his partner the Cat as they stealthily walked through the garden of their mark.
"The room is the third window on the second story," said the Cat examining the building. The Chameleon tested the strength of a lattice leading to it going up the wall.
This should work I'm surprised people are so careless with security," the Chameleon said laughing. They climbed up the lattice trying not to be pricked by the thorns of the rose that climbed up it as well.
"The alarm is off or it should be, but I'll disable it," said the Chameleon.
He cut the alarm wire and jimmied the window till it opened.
They climbed in the room and looked about it.
"The safe is behind that painting," said the Chameleon pointing at the only picture in the room.
"Ok who will do the work you or me?" asked the Cat who was as skilled a cracksman as the Chameleon.
"It's my turn you did the last job," said the Chameleon who walked over to the picture removing it handing it to the Cat to put down.
The Chameleon put his ear to the safe and cracked the lock and opened the door removing the contents out of the safe putting it in a backpack on the Cat's back.
"Got it! Let's go." said the Chameleon.

Scratch a killer and you get a monster.
"What are you doing in a lonely blind ally in the city at night?" asked the father of a very suspicious character, a man in black wearing a long black trench coat he was wanted as a serial killer.
"Go away I'm working Dad," hissed the son Lance.
"I won't," said the father hoping to prevent a murder.
"Go away I don't need skeletons coming out of closets and getting in my way," said Lance the son cryptically. A car started nearby and left.
"You scared them off deadhead," snapped Lance shortly then he stomped off.
A man who was hidden in the dark clubbed the father on the head he fell to the ground.
Lance seemingly goes mad while trying to find his father will he ever find him alive?

Will this killer scare him to death or kill him?
Lance Alexander Sr sat singing along with his car radio as he waited to pick up his son Jr. He was totally distracted by the music. He didn't see the man jump in his car til it was too late. "What are you doing in my car," said Lance noticing him.
"Drive!" said the stranger coldly.
"I'm waiting for my son hit the road, Jack!" said Lance he hadn't time for this guy.
"Forget him and drive," said the stranger pulling a gun on Lance.
"You don't want to do this mate!" warned Lance knowingly.
"do you think you're a magician?" asked the carjacker.
"I'm worse!" said Lance smiling darkly as he stared the car and sped off. Lance was worse than a magician they were heroes he was wanted by the police as a serial killer.
His son saw his car speed away.
"Okay I'll take myself home then!" said Jr shortly and disappeared into thin air teleporting home.
Meanwhile, in the car, the carjacker was terrified thinking he chose the wrong car to carjack. The owner was insane and had some sort of a death wish he was all over the road like a madman and had a devil-may-care attitude with the carjacker.
"Let me out of here? I'll not hurt you if you let me go," pleaded the carjacker who was petrified.
"You said you wanted me to drive," said Lance in a mock hurt tone as he locked the doors and drove on.

When Dr Death the local coroner is invited to perform in the hospital he works in's Tv charity performance little did they know the coroner was hiding a secret he is a famous stage illusionist he goes to the audition and his hospital colleague falls in love with the man who comes in his place and refuses to believe he could ever be the same man and his stage magician partner isn't helping either.
She confronts the coroner for not having the courage to audition himself still not recognizing him he realizes he has fallen for a dream of the handsome illusionist, not himself.
A tall handsome clean shaven blue-eyed man walked on stage for the audition he looked nervous. "Who are you? You look familiar," asked a lady auditioner who fell in love with this strange young man. "Dr Blake Alexander, you know me," said the young man. "No, I don't any Dr Alexanders," said the lady. "No, he's kidding us he's Blake Fire! He's famous," said another auditioner, "He owns this theater." "Don't hold it against me," said Blake charmingly. "What are you going to do sing?" asked the lady. "I'm a magician," Blake said. "Oh, are you?" said the lady intrigued. "Where is Jack Tailor?" asked Dr Alexander. "He is sick Sally is here to do his job said the other auditioner. "Did Dr Death ask you to take his place here that grumpy nerd can't perform to save his life," said the lady who knew Dr Death as a bespectacled grouch who was always moaning, Blake tried to push up his glasses which he wasn't wearing frustratedly he looked irritated but that made him look more handsome. "I am Dr Death, I didn't ask myself anything, Sally Jack asked me to audition," snapped Blake.

"Well, I had to try, I wanted to meet Rogue Star," said Aureus. "Face it, she's out of your league," said the person behind them, Jasper her father. "I am not the Masked Chicken now," said Aureus. Who had been a fool for most of his life. He had been known as a fool, he had been known as the Masked Chicken. He had indeed changed the man who woke up to be Aureus, the Ghost. His sleeping soul awakening turned the hopeless, helpless, fool into a normal person, but his reputation stuck. "We know it," said Stella, "but you are no Ghost he is charming and amazing you are just... you."
Aureus looked sad that even the girl who loved the Ghost wasn't mildly impressed by the outfit.

The night was still, and quiet, all seemed the same for the ghost of the hotel.
It would be another boring night roam for her, she foresaw.
Until the silence was broken by a man screaming. She wandered to the room the scream came from. It was the room she was murdered in.
When she got there, she found a man looking terrified at a grey alien.
He had apparently awoken and seen the alien about to abduct him.
The ghost was nice, so she felt there was only one thing to do to scare away the alien and save the man. All is not as it seems, how will this end?

"Marlowe! Here! Now!" screamed Lando King the editor and owner of the Newspaper where Jim Marlowe worked as a reporter.
"Sounds like you got Lando really angry, said his friend Lance Alexander, who also worked there.
"Yeah," Jim said and rushed off to their boss's office to see Lando.
Jim timidly opened Lando's office door and walked scaredly into the room.
"Marlowe what took you so long to get here, did you come here via Tasmania?" shouted Lando. Jim grimaced nervously.
"No sir," said Jim, thinking it must have been the article he wrote for yesterday's paper.
It was.
"How dare you try to put such idealistic tripe in my paper," shouted Lando, throwing a pile of papers at Jim. They were the article he submitted for editing and the notes on it.
"It wasn't tripe, Sir, it was the truth," Jim shouted back.
It was his second mistake talking back to Lando the control freak.
"The Earth does go round the Sun it's scientific a fact!" the livid Jim shouted.
"You precocious upstart," said the skeptical Lando, "get out of my newspaper!" shouted Lando.
"See you tomorrow, Mr. King, when you have calmed down a bit," said Jim.
"No you are fired, never stain my floors and paper again," shouted a furious Lando.
"No you can't fire me I quit," shouted Jim.

What if you lost the last physical thing that reminds you of a lost beloved child through theft, and it happens to be found upon the body of the now dead thief, and it is now in the hands of the police would you if you had access to would you take it back? Is stealing back your own stolen thing, really theft or is it? This is the situation where this coroner, Blake, finds himself in.
On a lonely quiet misty night after midnight in Melbourne, anything can happen and it did. At that hour, only the reckless and unprincipled wander around.
On such a night as this, a straggler from a theatre was wandering in the cool calming night remembering a lost daughter who he'd lost many years ago on a night like this. This day, to be exact, 28 years earlier. She was murdered with her husband as they walked the street he was in. He came as he always did this night to lay a rose for them. He did so unbothered, for all the times he had come. Before that night. He pulled out an old locket and looked at it sadly and opened it, looking at the pictures inside it. They were his daughter and her husband. The father pulled a red rose from his inside coat pocket and lay the rose on the wet road. As the father knelt laying the rose there was a noise nearby on the road like a splash in the puddle, he looked up and saw a man with a gun trained on him.

"It wasn't him the reaper spoke, he had a deep bass-baritone-sounding voice," said the Necromantor.
"I can't go that low," said Lance, the Necromancer who was a light tenor.
"Oh, looks like we have work to do on our side, Uncle Rey," Mortimer, who was also the local coroner, said, "We'll deal with it!"

One of the Magicians suffers from human nature, and the brazen, devil-may-care, risk-taker Lance Alexander Sr realises he is mortal. He has a horrible dream of the angel of death killing, and the next day he meets a person in his dream. He dreads them recognising him. Furthermore, he knows they will kill him if they do and free the Angel his soul in killing him. He is scared, more scared than he ever was before.
He knows one of them will die, but who?
It's human nature to fear death, and that went doubly for Lancelot Alexander, the Necromancer, a grim reaper with the soul of an uncontrollable violent killer. In the past, he feared death less, but now he feared what would be released into the world when he died; his soul was a horrible killer worse than him.
Lance awoke from a very bad dream, screaming.
“Lance, are you alright?” Asked his wife, spooked by her husband's screaming.
"I saw the angel kill again," said the sweating, scared man, whom the police called a serial killer.

Reynard is informed by Dante that the Angel of Death, which was Lance's soul, has been freed. The Angel is worse, a killer worse than Lance ever was, and he wants his body for some reason. Blake goes on the run with his son's remains, how far will he run? How will Reynard react? How will this end? Will the Angel catch up to Lance's body? How far will the Angel go to get what he wants?

Dr Blake Alexander aka Mortimer is caught by the police saving his son's life his mugshot is a hit with the police He must confront his great uncle the policeman magician with the truth he is dead and has been protecting his son from the law. How will the policeman react? How can Blake ever live this down?
Blake I've got bad news the Necromancer will die today," said his employer Fate Argent Lumiere knowing the father would need time to get used to his son's death.
"How?" asked the crying father.
"The police will shoot him," said Fate.
"Have a drink man you need it," said Fate handing Blake a drink he made appear out of thin air.
Blake drank it down in a gulp and started coughing coking on the drink.
Not long later a desperate father with nothing to lose stood on the scene of his son's death crying driven insane by the death of his son.
"What are you doing, here Dad," asked Blake's son seeing him crying he hugged him.
"What is it dad?" asked the son.
"I came to save your life you are going to be shot by the police here and die," said the father.
"I'm touched!" said the shocked son.
"Go run boy! Now! " said Blake "They are here listening to us."
The Necromancer disappeared into thin air the police piled in the room.
Blake knew if he tried anything he would be dead too.
"Mortimer don't move or you are dead," said a policeman he recognized as his great uncle Reynard or Simon.
"I will give up peacefully," said Blake who looked human and was masked he was dressed in a black shirt and trousers knowing he'd be seen he was disguised.

When Dr Death the local coroner is invited to perform in the hospital he works in's Tv charity performance little did they know the coroner was hiding a secret he is a famous stage illusionist he goes to the audition and his hospital colleague falls in love with the man who comes in his place and refuses to believe he could ever be the same man and his stage magician partner isn't helping either.
She confronts the coroner for not having the courage to audition himself still not recognizing him he realizes he has fallen for a dream of the handsome illusionist, not himself.
A tall handsome clean shaven blue-eyed man walked on stage for the audition he looked nervous. "Who are you? You look familiar," asked a lady auditioner who fell in love with this strange young man. "Dr Blake Alexander, you know me," said the young man. "No, I don't any Dr Alexanders," said the lady. "No, he's kidding us he's Blake Fire! He's famous," said another auditioner, "He owns this theater." "Don't hold it against me," said Blake charmingly. "What are you going to do sing?" asked the lady. "I'm a magician," Blake said. "Oh, are you?" said the lady intrigued. "Where is Jack Tailor?" asked Dr Alexander. "He is sick Sally is here to do his job said the other auditioner. "Did Dr Death ask you to take his place here that grumpy nerd can't perform to save his life," said the lady who knew Dr Death as a bespectacled grouch who was always moaning, Blake tried to push up his glasses which he wasn't wearing frustratedly he looked irritated but that made him look more handsome. "I am Dr Death, I didn't ask myself anything, Sally Jack asked me to audition," snapped Blake.

A man shoots the son of the Necromancer because these ageless Magicians look the same and have the same name and Jr is answering the door of his father's house who could blame the shooter for his mistake? Can Jr's broken father save him or will he die?
"I'll answer the door," Lance Alexander called hearing the doorbell go off.
He walked to the front door and opened it.
"Are you Lance Alexander," said the seedy-looking man at the door,
"Yes, but-" Lance said only stopping talking because he was shot and the man ran away.
Lance's father also called Lance Alexander came running to the door.
"What happened Jr? Are you alright?" Sr asked.
"I was shot, but I'm alright," said Jr who was playing tougher than he was, "I think he was looking for you?"
"Stop playing the hero boy," said his worried father who was looking for the shooter.
Jr collapsed on the doorstep Sr picked up his bleeding son and teleported him to the local hospital's emergency waiting room.
Running to the reception desk with his bleeding now unconscious son.
"My son was shot he needs help," said Sr panicked.

Lance Alexander Sr sat singing along with his car radio as he waited to pick up his son Jr. He was totally distracted by the music. He didn't see the man jump in his car til it was too late. "What are you doing in my car," said Lance noticing him.
"Drive!" said the stranger coldly.
"I'm waiting for my son hit the road, Jack!" said Lance he hadn't time for this guy.
"Forget him and drive," said the stranger pulling a gun on Lance.
"You don't want to do this mate!" warned Lance knowingly.
"do you think you're a magician?" asked the carjacker.
"I'm worse!" said Lance smiling darkly as starting the car and sped off. Lance was worse than a magician they were heroes he was wanted by the police as a serial killer.
His son saw his car speed away.
"Okay I'll take myself home then!" said Jr shortly and disappeared into thin air teleporting home.

"Go away I'm working Dad," hissed the son Lance.
"I won't," said the father hoping to prevent a murder.
"Go away I don't need skeletons coming out of closets and getting in my way," said Lance the son cryptically. A car started nearby and left.
"You scared them off deadhead," snapped Lance shortly then he stomped off.
A man who was hidden in the dark clubbed the father on the head he fell to the ground.
Lance seemingly goes mad while trying to find his father will he ever find him alive?

The masked chicken gives the X-Zeracian virus a virus from another planet to his friend Blake causing many catastrophes in this world and the next.

"This goth thing is not good for you!" said Lance Senior "What could my being an emo goth be a problem?" said the prince. "You look more like a vampire than your cousin the queen of vampires and she's a vampire," Lance said frowning. "I'm emo, not a vampire!" said the prince offended. "I know that!" said Lance, "Can't you dress less like Dracula?" "No this is me if you won't accept me as I am you will have to just take me as I am!" the prince said. "You can't do that!" shouted the prince in horror. "I can you have been ungothed!" said Lance smiling at his son's smart appearance. His son wore a jeans suit. his hair smoothly brushed he looked handsome and a lot like his father. But all the prince saw was his father in a bad casual suit! "I am ugly!" said the prince depressed. "No you look good!" said Senior "Why can't I use magic to change back?" said the prince running to his makeup trying to put on makeup but it disappeared. "What have you done to me?" shouted the infuriated prince. "You are not allowed to be a goth anymore!" said Lance. "Mum!" the prince said begging for help. "He's right, Junior, you can't be a goth it is not safe for you! It is depressing you!" said the mother not sure her husband was right. The prince walked to his door and slammed it in his parents' faces. "That went well!" said Senior awkwardly his wife glared at him. The Prince cried for the rest of the night.

"What's new my granddaughter is a medium!" Dr. Alexander moaned.
"But what she saw wasn't real!" said Lance
"Then why tell us, if it is not real!" said Dante who was trying to clean the blood off the pages of the bloody papers.
"What did she see?" asked Dr. Alexander.
"A white raven sitting on a human skull blood running from the nose hole of the skull in a dark place," said Lance turning white.
"It means you Dad your symbol is a white raven, the skull symbol of death."
"What is that meant to mean?" said Dante.
"Blue Midnight is going to die or I am King of the grim reapers!" snapped Blake shortly.
"What about the bloody nose?" asked Dante.
"Blood of death!" said Lance.
"What does that mean!" said Dante.
"There will be blood!" said Blake.
"Don't be a drama queen!" scoffed Lance.
"It's just an omen they happen someone is trying to reveal me, the Emperor of the solar system as a grim reaper!" Blake moaned, "and my blood relatives! Wouldn't put it past this guy on the slab! He has the motivation and he didn't know Astra was one of my kin who knew who I was! Come with me you two!" a portal of darkness swirled in the air.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen welcome to our show," said a voice that came from the stage of a small theatre.
"He's throwing his voice or using a microphone," muttered a bearded man with an Italian accent.
On the stage appeared the owner of the voice.
"He is using a trap door," the Italian muttered.
"I am Blake Fire," said the clean shaven Australian magician.
Another magician appeared on stage in flames he looked like a cross between a vampire and a magician.
"Trap door and pyrotechnics," said the Italian.
"And I am Max Starfire," said the vampire.
"My assistant!" said the first magician. The second
sneered and snapped "I'm your partner, Granddad!"
Max was the husband of Blake's grandaughter he was older than he looked.
"Max!" snapped back Blake as he beckoned Max to come over to him.
Blake removed his own top hat in a flourish. Max pulled a rabbit out of the hat then opened the rabbit's mouth. Blake's eyes widened in horror and he screamed "No!
Max pulled a hat out of the rabbit's mouth it killed the rabbit. Blake who was covered in rabbit blood screamed "Not again! Bring down the curtains. The show's over!

"Max! why so serious?" said Blake Fire doing a Joker impression seeing his worried face as he walked in the room. Blake was his partner in the magic act.
"Shut up, Blake this is serious! Go away!" Max snapped back,
"We can use him too," the voice on the phone said, "tell him to stay we will use him too,".
"Blake please don't go! They need you!" Max said.
"Who needs me?" asked Blake.
"The people who say they have Astra and little Astry," Max burst out.
"Have they any proof they have them?" asked Blake.
"Nothing but their word so far," said Max,
"Put it on speaker phone I'll close the door," Blake said.
Max turned on speaker phone and Blake closed the door.

"Max hurry up! I'm bleeding to death. Put me back together."

"No, don't he'll have more of him to do his paperwork!"
"Max!" Screamed Blake who was dying.

"You nearly had a special guest the grand reaper Mortimer you creep! Trust a vampire to do a dangerous trick what should I expect!"

"This brings us to the end of the show!" said Blake glaring at his son.
The magicians took their bows.
"Max tried to kill me that is the last time we do that trick!" Blake said.
"No, I didn't I was playing to the crowd!" said Max Starfire.
"Right playing to the crowd my son wants my job, so you left me to die!" said Blake shortly.
"I didn't kill you Blake stop acting like a drama queen," Max snapped.

"Angela Alexander you will live again!" The man said, "You will reincarnate in the past!"
"Argent. What are you doing lurking in the graveyard!" Angela's grieving widower snapped finding it an odd place to find fate.
"Oh hi, Mortimer what bring the king of the grim reapers here?" Argent said.
"My wife is buried here It gives me a right and reason to be here," said
the reaper Mortimer.
"Isn't she in your realm?" asked Argent.
"Only her soul, not seen her since she was processed," Mortimer said,
"Oh shame," said Argent, "no job perks."
"No, reapers are not meant to see their wives and families after death rule-" Mortimer was interrupted.
"Quit with the paperwork she's your wife!" Argent snapped.
"I know a lady you may like," Argent said leading Mortimer from his wife grave.
"There can never be anyone for me but Angela you busybody," said the reaper.
"We'll see!" said Argent smiling.

"For heaven's sake don't beat around the bush!" Grumbled the Doctor.
"Another freshy for you!" said the orderly.
"Please refrain from referring to them as freshies call them a dead person!" hissed the doctor.
"Ok another dead person!" said the orderly.
"Take me to them," the doctor demanded.
"Doctor Death has come to do his job," announced the orderly to the nervous nurse inside the room with the body.
"I'm a coroner, not Doctor Death," said the Doctor entering the room.
"So sorry!" a reaper said walking out of the room. The doctor ran to the bedside of the dead person.
"Oh my god no," the doctor said weeping tears of blue electric fire which crystalized betraying his inhumanity to his colleagues.
"Blue Midnight is Doctor Death!" cried the orderly.
"Really, Sherlock how didn't you know!" said Blake crying,
"I was called here by my son because my wife was critical!"
"I just told him about his wife's death! Hey! That's your job telling people their relatives are dead!" the orderly moaned.
"I'll do you the same favor one day!" snarled Blake.

"Hello Hope, welcome to the afterlife." said the emperor of the grim reapers greeting his dead 1st wife's mother's ghost. They were in his dingy little office in the other world.
"Blake? Angela? what are you 2 doing here?" asked the ghost of his mother-in-law.
Some men would have enjoyed the meeting, having their mother-in-law dead. Blake was not happy nor was his new wife who was his first wife reincarnated by Fate. "Blake broke the rules for me. He is the emperor of the underworld. I am not supposed to be here but I had to say my goodbyes," said Blake's 2nd wife Angela.

"We are having a guest for tea tonight," announced Lance Alexander Snr to his family on arriving home after work on night.
"Who the Masked Chicken again?" asked his wife Liz.
"No a friend from work," said Snr.
"Mr King?" asked Jnr.
"No Sandy," said Snr.
"Mr Sandman the sleep expert from your news paper?" asked Kristine his daughter.
"Yes him," said Snr.
"Why?" asked Jnr.
"I asked him over for tea and to help Jnr with his visions," said Snr.
"Why he can't help me," said Jnr.
"He is a dream expert," Snr said.
"He can't he's human what would he know?" asked Jnr.
"He's a Magician too like us his son put our class to sleep he and dad came and Mr Sandman woke us up again," Kristine said.
"He's the Sand Man," said Snr.
"Yeah that's his article's name," said Jnr.
"Yes but he is the Sand Man the real one," said Snr.

"Sandy, The Sandman article about how sleep better was really good it really helped me sleep last night," said Lance Alexander Kristine's Dad said to Zac's Dad at their work.
"Your Necromancer article was very good too" said Sandy.
"Alexander, Sandman my office now!" Shouted their boss.
"We better dash he has no patience," said Sandy.
"Yes," agreed Lance.
They virtually ran to the office.
"What took you, were you slacking off again," asked Orlando King their boss when they arrived not long later.
"No, sir," said Sandy.
"What did you miss us Lando, I'm touched," said Lance sarcastically.
"No I wanted to talk to you about your recent articles," said Lando.
"You read them my life is complete," Lance said.
Lando was used Lance's sarcastic manner he would wonder if something was wrong if he wasn't as sharp as a barb.
"I always read your articles I'm the editor," snapped back Lando.
"Did you love them," asked Lance.
"No, your interview with the victim was too short," said Lando.
"I interviewed a ghost they aren't very talkative," Lance said.
"They aren't," said Sandy standing up for his friend.
"You are a magician too," asked Lando.
"Yes," said Sandy.
"Talking about you your Sandman article was so bad I could sleep at all last night," said Lando.

What is Fetch a term meaning the meeting of two doppelgangers.
"What the-!" said Dr Death seeing a grim reaper, "You can't be here."
"Why?" asked the reaper Mortimer curiously.
"You know as well as I do," said the doctor.
"Yes, your right, this is ridiculous," said Mortimer.
"It is insane," said Dr Death.
"Glad you agree," said Mortimer.
"Why are you talking to yourself Dad?" asked the Necromancer seeing them as he entered the morgue.
"I don't know why, boy," said Dr Death puzzled.
"I came to talk to him," said the reaper.
"How can you be here I am you?" said Dr Death.
"Oh I forgot to tell me did I?" said Mortimer.
"Yes!" said Dr Death.
"I traveled from the future to warn me I am going to die if I don't catch the Necromancer," said Mortimer.
"What?" said Dr Death glaring at his son.
"I don't want to hurt you!" said the Necromancer.
"Sorry not him the other one," said Mortimer.
"What other one?" asked Dr Death.
"The fake one," said Mortimer.
"I have a copy cat?" said the Necromancer feeling flattered.
"He wants to kill me you psycho," said Dr Death.
"Sorry," said the Necromancer.
The copy cat kills only Magicians.
Dr Blake Alexander and the others set out a
trap for the killer he can not resist a stage
performance by the leader of the magicians
but will Blake survive or will he die as foretold.

The king of the reapers son's heir the Necromantrix was given her first scythe by her grand father the reaper king in a quiet park out of town in a small ceremony.
They try to explain reapers to her to her father's amusement she thinks they are gardeners who use lawn mowers.
"we are like lawn mowers then, we cut the grass and collect the grass and put it where it is judged needs to be placed." his son laughed he was amused by the description of them as lawn mowers. A couple of walkers saw the 2 reapers and the black dressed Necromantrix holding an old scythe. The walkers screamed. "We're just here to mow the lawn! You never seen The Mower King before," shouted the Necromancer, The Mower King was a big gardening franchise in that town. The walkers ran off. "You scared them you psycho!" snapped back the king at his son. The king turned his attention back to the girl, "Do you understand what I was talking about?" asked the king. "You are gardeners I thought you were killers?" she said.

"We need that psycho to kill a dream he's good at killing dreams," said Blake.
"Dad that's harsh even for you," said Lance who was used to such biting words from his father.
The Sandman looked sorry for his friend Lance he thought Blake was acting harsh too.
"We need him to help to kill a nightmare that is killing people these nightmares are a rare beast they are normal dreams with a virus these dreams are sick the virus takes over them they appear as old hags with one eye in their forehead they feed on dreams and kill people as they sleep," said the Sandman.

"I hear you could break out of jail if you wanted to," said the guard.
"Yes it's easy but where's the fun in that," said Lance smiling impishly.
"What fun can you have in jail?" asked the Kingpin.
"Not been here long enough for it to be a bore yet," Lance said who was having fun messing with their minds.
"I will not do it!" Lance Alexander to his uncle Sergeant Simon Alexander-Drax.
"It's alright! You won't be there long!" said his uncle.
"Then you go there!" said Lance shortly.
Lance's dad the coroner walked into the room.
"I can't," said Lance digging his boots into the floor.
"You can't what?" asked Blake Alexander, Lance's dad.
"I can't go to prison as the Necromancer," said Lance.
"Why can't you," asked his uncle.
"Do you think he's the Necromancer?" asked Blake.
"Of course not we need a man we can trust on the inside who can pose as the Necromancer to entrap a prison kingpin," said Simon.
"You planning to come out as dead are you?" asked Lance not threatening just stating a fact the father of the Necromancer was Mortimer the grim reaper, King.
"I am not going to be around for that," said Blake planning a holiday in hell when Lance came out as the Necromancer a serial killer.
"Where are you going?" asked Blake's Uncle.
"Never you mind," said Blake.
"He's a coward," said Lance.
"No would you be in my place I can't be deposed as emperor of the solar system if I'm not there," Blake said.
"Didn't think of that," said Simon.
"I'll do it," said Lance defiantly thinking how much of a problem it would be to his father.

As nightmares go the Masked Chicken's nightmare was really bad it broke him not only in his mind as a dreamer it broke him in the waking world too.
In his dreams, he was tormented and made to feel inept. He dreamed he was a hero but nothing ever went right for him and his side kick the Blue Wren.
It frustrated both of them no matter what he and the Wren did he would never save the day. In his waking hours, he also thought he was a hero but once again he was a serial victim. He was the hapless sidekick of the superhero the King of Doom a real superhero who spent his days saving his best friend the Masked Chicken and his nights having horrific visions of what would happen if he did not stop it.

No one should die in the dreamscape
Lancelot Alexander Jnr was at the crossroads of being awake and falling asleep as his partner in his stage magic act Dreams and Nightmares, Zac was about to put him into the zigzag man apparatus during an evening performance.
"Hey, sleepy head wakes up," said Zac sensing Lance was tired.
"I'm so tired," Lance said, "I'll try to stay awake."
"I don't want to hurt you," said Zac.
"I don't want to be hurt either," said Lance climbing into the box.
The moment he went into the box he fell asleep mentally.
He awoke screaming when Zac inserted the first blade.
It startled and worried Zac.
"Bring the curtains down," Zac shouted and the curtains fell.

"Come with me, Jnr," said Zac making a wormhole appear in front of them they stepped into it.

I didn't know you had a twin?" said the reaper looking at an invisible nonexistent man induced by drink. "I don't I'm an only child," said Max nervously as the reaper pushed passed him.

The eyes are the mask of Blake the Grim Reaper a story about how hard it is for the Reaper to hide behind Blake the coroner's blue eyes he knows the true name of a corpse in his morgue known only as John Doe but can't reveal it.
In walked a policeman in uniform he was puzzled.
"Were you talking to your friend on the slab's ghost? Did he say who he was?" asked the policeman Blake's great uncle the Magician the Red Fox.
"Hmm? Of course not!" scoffed Blake.
"I heard you talking vaguely," said the Fox.
"I was talking to myself, his soul is gone! Even a great Necromancer can't talk to a soul which is not there he's just a shell," said Blake who was a great necromancer.

It was Blake's least favorite time of the year.
His son Lance passed him an envelope he took it with a great lack of enthusiasm.
"Open it you'll love it," an enthused Lance said.
Blake opened it expecting an insult It was.

"I knew you'd love it," said Lance smiling.
"Yeah," said Blake he hated it.
It being a picture of Harry Potter's Lord Voldermort in a birthday hat,
under the picture, a legend in a black box reading OLDERMORT.
It hit Blake like a ton of brick it was his birthday again.
"Mortimer," said Blake's assistant with another pile of more files for Blake to sign.
"What is it Dante," Blake said knowing his day would get worse.
Dante saw the card and laughed.
"Mortimer's birthday is it?" he said.

"Blue Midnight and the Sun King this is exciting lets go fight crime!" A man in a yellow chicken suit with a mask said like they made his life.
"Ok, I'll race you there," said Blake seeing the chicken,
"Can I join you!" the chicken enthused said.
He wanted to be a hero, and chaos followed him. He was a sorcerer who chose not to use magic.
the chicken was being beaten by an old lady he crossed the road with.
"Why did the chicken cross the road!" laughed Max.
"I wanted to catch that bus leave me alone.." she screamed as she was dragged away from the bus it left when she was taken across the road nearly under a car.
"Max we better save him from the old lady," Blake said.
"We'll deal with this chicken, Madam," Blake said dragging the chicken away from the old lady who was still hitting him.
"Thank you Blue Midnight, that chicken made me miss my bus," she said happy to see him taken away. Max and Blake walked him away.

Gabriel is giving out cute fuzzy Santa hats again and the hospital is gone mad with Christmas.In the afterlife Blake's boss Argent has decided to bring back the Christmas spirit again with the Jack Skellingtons are making a comeback everywhere. How far will this madness go? Will the police get what they want for Christmas the serial killer the Necromancer's name or will the miss their present the living reaper Mortimer signed seal and delivered to them by Argent himself. "You need Brandy," said Argent making a glass of it appear in his hand and handed it Mortimer. "But I don't drink," said Mortimer. "You can and must it's Christmas," said Argent. "Okay it's your party," said Mortimer, "Salute!" Mortimer said and drank. He ended up in wet Santa suit. "Why are you covered in drink that's not in the spirit of the season," said Argent. "I said I don't drink I'm a skeleton! What did you expect to happen?" Moaned Mortimer.

Blake "The Grinch" Alexander is suffering the Christmas blues again as a Santa's helper for a case and his son Lance isn't helping him either.
This a dark Santa Christmas story that is not child friendly. The only green monster in this story Is a Christmas tree on the cover.
Christmas carols rang around the photo with Santa area a child wandered up to Santa Claus and sat on his lap.
"What do you want little boy," moaned Santa who sounded like he would rather be somewhere else.
Nearby Santa's adult son watched him joyfully.
"I cannot believe you got Blake playing Santa again he hates Christmas," said Santa's wife Angela to her stepson.
"It wasn't me It was Argent a Santa in the Santa's agency was murdered. He's undercover as Santa to find the killer," said Santa's son Lance.
Lance left his stepmother and walked over to his father shouting "Grinch, are you trying to steal Christmas again?"
Santa moaned and tossed off the child ignoring him.

It was a strange day when Blake Alexander found out about this odd case everyone at his hospital wanted to decorate the hospital for Christmas drunk on the Christmas cheer.
But that was nothing the reapers were trying to get the afterlife business in line with fate's decree that they celebrate Christmas with reapers collecting people as Santa Clauses which Blake was totally against. To him, it was an anathema. He felt like Scrooge It was getting so Christmasy the people at the hospital had stopped calling him Dr Death on the upside but on the downside they called him the Grinch.
He was in a bad mood when he visited the police station which was trimmed for Christmas too.

"Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen," a disembodied voice on the stage of a magic show said, "Abracadabra!" the voice said and the frame of a tall handsome black haired man in a tux and top hat materialized. "I am Blake Fire", a brunette man in a tux and top hat walked on stage "and he Is my assistant Max Starfire!"
"I am your partner grandead!" Max hissed.
"Enough Max! I'll sick a vampire hunter on you and your wife the queen of vampires;" Blake snapped back.
"I thought you loved your granddaughter Blake," Max said as he pulled a rabbit out of a hat.
"I do but vampires are a pain in the neck!" Blake snapped as he did a rope trick.
"More Paper work as a coroner with the police and the grim Reaper I suppose!" Max retorted like a barb.
" Actually yes! The paper work is hell!," Blake said pulling a bunch of flowers out of thin air.
"I thought so bureaucrat to the last" said Max laughing.
"Someone has to tidy up the mess you leave behind," Blake said doing a magic trick.
"Well with out us life would be boring," said Max smiling charmingly.
A ghost walked on stage Blake looked frustrated.
"What the hell this place isn't haunted! Max is this your work!" Blake snapped,
"No!" Max said confused.
"I heard you spoke to the dead so I came!" said the ghost.
"Great another one what do you want!" Blake grumbled.
"I hear you know the sorcerer Blake Alexander known as Blue Midnight," the ghost said.

The grim reaper sat drinking a cup of coffee as a man in his office peacefully until his son ran in his office. "Dad you won't believe it the moon has hatched!" The Necromancer shouted. His father choked on his coffee.
"You alright Dad?" asked Lance worried.
"Yes, you psycho! The moon did what?" Blake, his dad said to his serial killer son.
"This is more important than you and me! The moon has hatched It was an egg!" Lance said hardly believing it himself and he saw it with his own eyes.
"Ok, I'll try to prioritize! What came out a mega space chicken?" asked Blake who was also the emperor of the solar system.
"If only it was a space chicken!" Lance said sadly.
"Then what hatched from it?" Ask his father.
"A giant space locust!" said Lance.
"Oh no they are world killers, they are worse than you!" said Blake,"They lay eggs in planets!" said Blake standing.
"Dad I am fate's-" Lance moaned.
"Assassin!" Blake interrupted.
"Whatever! We have a solar system to protect!" said Lance.
" Ok, then come on boy we need to get help," Blake said.
They ran out of the office. Through the gates of the other world and into the dimensional portal leading to the Earth and appeared in Blake's backyard. They paused slightly seeing the locust!
"Oh my God!" Blake said seeing the giant planet killer. It resembled a praying mantis. "It looks like fate wonder if they're related?" Lance said.
"Wouldn't surprise me he's insane, sending you off to kill people he doesn't like!" Blake said "I've not seen a space locust before," Blake stood in awe of the beast

"And how to make him disappear," muttered Lance walking off stage.

The day began like most others. Blake Alexander yawned as he got ready for work at Charing Cross Hospital. Where he was the coroner in charge of the morgue.
His wife was on holiday without him in America so it would be lonely at work.
He heard the doorbell and dashed to answer the door.
He found at it a slightly nervous man a Postman.
"Hello," Blake said wondering why he was nervous.
"Here is a letter for you sir," said the postman, "please don't take my life yet I have some paperwork to do. It's my will."
Blake laughed.
"You're alright man I don't take the living," said Blake.
"I need a signature for the letter," the postman said.
Blake signed for the letter and took it inside to read.
To Blake's surprise, it wasn't addressed to him.
"It must be a prank!" He thought.

Except the Necromancer was at another killing. Lance the Necromancer and Blake try to find the killer. The killer is busy trying to get the Necromancer arrested. People watch the show because of the crime.

"Die later Blake!" Max said, "we don't need to explain why the grim reaper's here and you are dead."
Blake and Max left the chicken.
"Good thing we were masked no one will recognize us," Max said laughing.
