Eerie is an 8-episode anthology audio series of original horror stories from some of the most exciting contemporary voices in horror, pulled from literature, film & TV, hosted and produced by Anna Bogutskaya.


Each story brings a different flavour of scary, from the haunting to the grotesque, to suit different sensibilities and fright thresholds. Every listener will find something that truly creeps them out. 


The first episode will be released Monday 2nd October, with new episodes released twice weekly in the lead up to Halloween. Episodes will be available across all podcast platforms.

One Night in Rome

Caleb tells the story of a young man who is forced to spend the night wandering the streets of Rome, where he encounters strangers and dangers, and must confront his own fears in a search for connection. 


Caleb Azumah Nelson is a British-Ghanaian writer and photographer living in South East London. His first novel, OPEN WATER, won the Costa First Novel Award and Debut of the Year at the British Book Awards, and was a No.1 Times bestseller.


His short story PRAY was shortlisted for the BBC National Short Story Awards in 2020, and has recently been made into a short film that Caleb wrote and directed. 


His second novel, SMALL WORLDS, was published in May 2023 to great acclaim and will be adapted for television by Brock Media, with Caleb writing the scripts.

Zing is a journalist, editor, writer and presenter. As a presenter, Zing has helmed Spotify's Shot & Chaser podcast, the VICE World News short-form video series Empires of Dirt, VICE’s award-winning sex and dating podcast My First Time and United Zingdom, which The Guardian named as one of the best podcasts of 2020. 


Earlier this year, her four-book series Forgotten Women, which explores the untold stories of inspiring women who have been marginalised from history, was reissued as an anthology. For TV, Zing is currently developing an original scripted drama alongside working on a new novel.

Thaddea explores what it means to leave your home, find yourself and your voice, and then return again in this tender and empowering story, interwoven with original music and lyrics.  


Thaddea Graham is an actor from Northern Ireland who trained at ArtsEd in London before securing her first key role in Sky One’s CURFEW. With subsequent roles in BBC One’s US and DOCTOR WHO she had her first leading role in Netflix’s THE IRREGULARS and then BBC Three’s WRECK, of which she is currently filming the second season. She will next star in the fourth series of Netflix’s SEX EDUCATION Whilst not on screen, Thaddea writes and performs her own music, singing and playing guitar and piano and is now turning her hand to writing. She is currently working on her first play and in development for her first TV show.

Deborah is developing projects with the BFI, Film4, BBC Films and Brock Media.

Emma Jane Unsworth is a BAFTA-nominated, BIFA-winning screenwriter and best-selling novelist. She was the showrunner for series one of DREAMLAND, a new comedy-drama starring Lily Allen and Freema Agyeman, on Sky Atlantic. 


Emma wrote an episode of Stephen Merchant’s 2021 comedy-thriller THE OUTLAWS for BBC/Amazon. She was nominated for a BAFTA for her script. She is also working on a new comedy commission for the BBC as well as several other TV and film projects. 


Emma’s fourth novel, SLAGS, will be published by HarperCollins/Borough Press in 2024. Her third novel, ADULTS, was an instant Sunday Times bestseller when it was published in 2020. Emma adapted her second novel, ANIMALS, into a feature film. The film, directed by Sophie Hyde and starring Holliday Grainger and Alia Shawkat, premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2019 and was produced by Brock Media’s Sarah Brocklehurst. The same year, Emma won the BIFA for Best Debut Screenwriter for her script.

Joanne Lau is a former neuroscientist/comedian, and an alumni of the BBC Writersroom Comedy Room and BBC New Talent Hotlist 2017. She’s been a finalist for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum - TV Drama, Royal Court Theatre/Kudos Writing Fellowship, Cinequest Teleplay 60, and Funny Women Awards. Prior to writing full-time, Joanne spent 15 years in academic neuroscience research working on pain disorders, brain tumours, and other ways your nervous system can go horribly wrong. She solved exactly none of those things.

Each episode is penned and performed by a different writer, in response to the question ‘What haven’t you told anyone before?’, drawing on their own life experiences, and immersively told with bespoke sound design from Tom Whalley.


The first episode will be released Monday 5 June, with new episodes dropping weekly until 24 July 2023 and will be available wherever you get your podcasts.
