VIP: Finding Pattersby

Sun, 28 Jan 2024 11:00:00 GMT

-Finding Pattersby is a hilarious, weirdo mystery about a disgraced ex-ghostwriter, who goes on the hunt for a famous missing thriller author from the 1990s. Also the ghostwriter is a liar.

This show blends surreal elements, strange vibes and dark comedy to explore the nexus of art and commerce through the underworld that is the suspense thriller industry.

-Original analog synth score by Erik Jourgensen of Sony’s “Tagged” and The Glow podcast.

Ryan and Erik have created an original textured universe here with its own vibes, humor and hypnotic storytelling. Folks have called it “a master class in suspense," "legitimately funny," and that “there is nothing else like it.”

Season 1 is happening right now so be sure to check it out on your favorite podcatcher.

They’re even doing a promotion right now where if you sign up for the newsletter at patterspod.com before Feb 10, you’ll be entered in a drawing for a free t-shirt with the showlogo.

This was a lot of fun to make and if you want more of this sort of stuff please let me know!

Meanwhile, the hotel must contend with a mix-up with a binary guest who only speaks Assembly, two French and Arabic philosophers who can't argue existentialism quietly, and a series of dreams that seem to have shrunk in the laundry.
