Dog Days PART 2!
(part of the Tag Till We're Dead horror podcast)
Apologies for the segmented parts; this is due to Spotify for Podcasters making changes, meaning I can't seem to figure out the new system which takes you to a separate platform if you have more than one audio recording to upload (I tend to record my stories in 2 or more segments for longer stories, to give my throat a rest!)
So for this story, the quickest way I can think to get around this is to upload a segment per episode, and make all 4 parts consecutive - so sorry for any inconvenience. I have also lost the ability to add music - again, apologies, though you might prefer this. I personally like a bit of atmospheric music.
From now on, I will attempt to record stories in a single leap, meaning the whole story can be uploaded to the episode.

Welcome back, scare-fans. This is a beautifully eerie story written by Suze Kay, whom I discovered on Vocal last year. You may also remember that I also narrated 'In the Glow' too.
She is a truly original writer, and though I never planned to use other writers on TTWD, rich, evocative stories like these, that unfurl their creepy tendrils into my guts and my soul, cannot be forgotten, and I am dying to narrate them. I hope you enjoy this slightly longer tale of friendship, and of beach-time strangeness.

This episode brings you the story A Tango by Lightning, which was inspired by a real late-night drive home, through hours of vivid lightning storms so incredible that we stopped the car and got out to watch.
I was 'pretend tango-ing' with my daughter, who came up with the idea of the title. I loved the idea of a couple dancing generating the energy needed for a lightning storm. It's not scary per-se, but it has an eerie feel I guess.

This is episode 7 of the Tag Till We're Dead Horror podcast (TTWD).
The story is called Tekhenu, which is the Egyptian word for obelisk. The word means literally to 'pierce the sky,' and was used in the worship of the sun God Ra.
I love ancient history and worshipping rituals, and, inspired by Soren Narnia's tale Landmark, I wanted to create a story of somebody who is frightened of an ancient landmark, and cannot find peace with the thought or sight of it, despite others reassuring them that it is perfectly innocuous. They may even become fixated on it.

Pilot episode of the new horror podcast Tag Till We're Dead. This is episode 1, the titular story about a zombie friendship, which was inspired by a phrase my daughter came out with one day, when talking about herself and her tag-mad school friend.
I asked my horror podcast hero Soren Narnia to narrate, and he graciously agreed. He loved the story, saying it was 'so sad!' I think you can hear this in his voice as he inhabits the zombie... I love his telling of this story, and I hope you love it too.

This is the trailer for the new horror podcast Tag Till We're Dead (TTWD) an anthology horror story podcast of original creepy tales.
Each story sits alone and will get under your skin in under ten minutes. All stories are written by UK author Karen Cave, and narrated by some special guests! Soren Narnia (my podcast suspense hero) even makes a few guest appearances.
