Synopsis:
The story follows a traveling band of orphans who go town to town, give grand performances and make a living off of pickpocketing their audience. After months of preparation the group is finally ready to try a high stakes heist of a seemingly random noble families’ home and all looks to be in their favor, that is until one of the bards realizes that this town is a bit more familiar than he would have liked. The Five Bards of Desente features the voice talents of Isaiah Armour, Poppy Lang Lucas Filipone, Maritza Ramirez, Mateo Uy and more! Written and Directed by Sandy Serrano, The Five Bards of Desente will premiere on August 27th and new episodes will air weekly, on Saturdays through September 24th. The Five Bards: Maywin, Castenous, Recibel, Keglin and Asper travel from town to town giving their performances and pickpocketing the unsuspecting crowd. Having gone several months without a grand heist, the leader of the troupe, Maywin picks out a small town on the edge of the continent and tells the group they are to rob the noble family in three day's time. All seems to be in order and going to plan, until one of the Bards, Castenous, realizes this town is a bit more familiar than everyone would have liked.
Written by Sandy Serrano, Directed by Sandy Serrano, Assistant Directed by Maia Longhenry. The Five Bards will premiere August 27th and will air new episodes weekly through September 24th.
