Synopsis:
In this thrilling D&D podcast, three friends of unlikely origins meet up on a boat off the coast of Chellonia - Dell, the Masked Bard, the protege of legendary bard, Silvaro Jaxahorn; Khoka, the Aarakocran Ranger; and Fluglaus, a young Dwarf who thinks he's an Aarakocra, like his adopted sister. As they travel through an unfamiliar land, trying to make their way and ultimately discover more about their origins while spreading positivity and light on their journey, they stumble across unexpected darkness... Mindflayers have begun appearing across the land. People are going missing in the Dwarven stronghold-city of Deepshield. And Fluglaus, a young Dwarven boy who thinks he's an Aarakocra like his adopted sister, seems to be of special interest to this Mindflayer... Join this trio of Adventuring Adventurers for Hire as they try to bring a net positive to their environment and discover once and for all what plots run deep through this land. Last week, upon interrogating the Erikssons' and learning the truth of their missing child, Dell finally found a melancholic satisfaction in learning the truth of the hooded figure that traded a baby child for aberrant chickens. Upon arriving in Chellonia, the group reunite with Jacob and Kineg, and Kineg's protege: Lorel. There, they find their next mission: as soon as they can board the ship, the Broken Harpy, at the docks... if Net Positive can ever get there...

This week on Net Positive+, our ragtag group has recently parted ways with their newfound friend, Felix the Wererat, left in Mushroom Hollow to attempt living a peaceful life. Deciding they could use a break, Dell, Fluglaus, and Khoka head back to Chellonia on their trio of lively mounts: Melody, Johnson, and Potato Johnsonson (no relation?). The three gallop on at a quicker pace back towards their initial meeting space - right after a stop by Yas and Das's place, Gruk and his construction crew, and the Erikssons' to reunite with friends, regale them with recent tales, and... recount their children?

This is it... weeks in the making... and we've finally arrived. Dell, Fluglaus, and Khoka have made it to Sosteim, in spite of many possible alternate routes they could have taken, and are ready to combat the Yuan-Ti inchoate god: The Slumbering One! Armed with very little in the way of information, allies, or a plan, they try to scrounge three brain cells between them and their "for-now" ally, Cigue, in preparation for storming the ziggurat where the Slumbering One's infantile form awaits...

Old nemeses, a city full of snakes, and blood sacrifice galore. This week, the Net Positive+ trio has stumbled into a literal snake nest. Faced with the task of interrupting the blood ritual of the Slumbering One, the Yuan-Ti's dormant god, Fluglaus, Khoka, and Dell begin the arduous task of casing their temple for possible opportunities.
As they do so, a familiar and unwelcome face appears at the local eatery... Ciguë rears her ageless head yet again! With an unnatural interest in Fluglaus - and in disrupting Khoka's old, peaceful life before she left the Airmont Flock - she again offers an alliance in a matter of shared interest... until it no longer suits her, that is.

Net Positive+ takes a trip. to the library this week to talk to Ebnom, Deepshield's head librarian and recordkeeper, to talk about the cranium rats that have been sighted all throughout the city. Dell, in a stroke of questionable genius, decides they must seek one out for research purposes and bring it to Tyrus in the hopes of finding a way to combat their psychic abilities.
While searching for the rats in the Rock Bottom Hexagon, Khoka runs into Rutrig, an unprepared dwarf guard who had previously helped them battle a queen kruthix and her brood. Now, thinking about reconsidering his life choices, he suggests helping them find the cranium rats that they seek.
