This trailer is a taste of the content and music in this audio fantasy-flavoured dramedy that tells the story of a young, mixed-race witch discovering a larger world and battling shadowy forces hell bent on using her for their own nefarious purposes. She must unlock the secrets of her own past, all while protecting herself -and her friends - from those determined to either exploit her abilities or destroy her entirely.

Witchery S01E05: The Note In The Book

As she discovers her flat has been broken into and wrecked by intruders unknown, Lessie finds her aunt and uncle missing and a mysterious note in a book that appeared in her room. With her home targeted, Lessie must flee, and the only people she has to turn to are a strange individual who claims to be an ancient tree nymph and the hot guy she met that morning who has the ability to transform into a lynx. How will she protect Ashika with the new turn of events, and what does her future hold now everything she loved has been torn away from her?

Producer's Notes: Unfortunately the file I was editing the podcast on died just as I was completing the final mix, so this episode is a bit rough around the edges. I will be striving to acquire better hardware so this doesn't happen yet again.

After dodging the aforementioned lusty wine deity, Lessie, Luka and Ashika are beset upon in the alley by more shadowy beings. They are not alone in their struggle, however, as a willowy club patron comes to their aid.

Witchery S01E03: Ashika, Baby.

Lessie must confront her aunt about the truth of the existence of a broader supernatural world, and afterwards, she and Luka meet up with Lessie's best friend, Ashika Chaturvedi. She takes them to a new nightclub, and Lessie's sixth sense, burgeoning out of the blue, feels the presence of a powerful god on the premises. As she is drawn in to their audience, she begins to understand the potential dangers of the supernatural world she has been dropped head first into.

Scheduling Update: Apologies for the late release, but I have been recovering from post-COVID fatigue, which has also been affecting my vocal chords - yay. Hopefully we'll be on a regular schedule soon.

Witchery S01E02: The Dating Agency Lady

After having her bag snatched by a shadowy criminal, Lessie chases down the thief as Luka tries to wrestle it back from him, and in the aftermath, they are aided by an alluring stranger. She's gentle. She's gorgeous. She runs a dating agency and her astounding beauty makes Lessie question her sexuality, (which is not something she's done before). Lessie and Luka get to know her, and she soon divulges information which rocks Lessie's world, her soul, and her understanding of the cosmos itself.

COVID UPDATE: Hey, peeps! I'm finally over my COVID infection (mostly). My voice is still rough, so I couldn't record additional content in the past week. Release of the first Supplemental is thusly delayed, but it IS coming, along with Supplemental Ep02! Send those questions and comments in! Nancy Lorenz, narrator and producer, has come down with the ubiquitous virus that has plagued our globe for years now. First time! Lost her C-V card! Anyway, this has predictably delayed production, and in this update, she apologises profusely for her lack of invincibility to such things. Good news is that we will be back soon.

Witchery S01E01: The Customer

Alessandra "Lessie" Innes is a 23 year old bookstore clerk with a talent for yarn arts and making a tit of herself in public. She also happens to be a witch - your average, modern day pagan, that is. At least that's what she thought until a strange young man enters her uncle's antique occult book store and asks about books on werewolves (it's not what you think). This kicks off a series of events where Lessie's world is turned entirely upside down. Reality and fantasy wrestle until they're an exhausted, sweaty mess that Lessie must wriggle through before she can even begin to understand who she really is and the depths of her magical powers.

But first she has to get to the end of the first episode without seriously injuring herself or mortally wounding her badly maintained veneer of normalcy. Can she do it? Find out, on "Witchery."
