Following our quick sojourn to the Philippines’ historical past, we move forward to a more modern age: the 1980s. It's a decade of New Wave and rotational brownouts in the country.
We meet an OFW, an overseas Filipino worker who is starting to feel the crushing loneliness of having to work abroad, away from his friends and loved ones in the Philippines. His only respite is sending and receiving voice-recorded cassette tapes to his girlfriend back home. He soon starts feeling like he is no longer alone. Voice actors Waff Recalde and Eir Diaz join us in this tale.
