Tranthologies

96 episodes

Full cast Multigenre Anthology Audio Drama

Synopsis:

Tranthologies is a trans anthology podcast created for pride month 2022. Our stories range from silly to serious, from short to long, but every single one of them is incredibly trans.

Here at Tranthologies, we dare to ask the real questions: what if a trans guy was alone in the apocalypse with no one but his dog to keep him company? What if Macbeth was set in Euphoria high school, and Macbeth and Lady Macbeth were T4T? What if The Count of Monte Cristo was in space? What if you swapped names with your best friend who is also trans? What are the many benefits to being a marine biologist? And… Well, we have thirty episodes, I can’t go over them all. You’ll just have to tune in to find out!

The Butcher, the Mariner, and the Lumberjack

Sat, 31 Aug 2024 15:00:00 GMT

King in yellow national park is a stretch of land that cannot be found. It is near a town called old crooked that was never built. The flora and fauna protected in its territory never lived in the first place. It’ is overlooked by the park rangers, who wear a shade of yellow that does not exist. And those who live in the pines that litter the land were never there to begin with. In simpler terms: nature is calling, don’t turn around.

Salamander Pink

Sun, 21 Jul 2024 15:00:08 GMT

It is not a very well-known fact that monsters are among us. Well, that’s not entirely true of me to say. With the media now-a-days it is a well-known fact. It is simply not a widely believed fact. The creatures who walk with us are not visible to those that know not to look. Once you start seeing them there is no going back. That is where this group has grown up. Generations of monster hunters, leading us here to these five.

A Month Apart

Sat, 24 Jun 2023 15:00:21 GMT

A month can feel like an awful long time when going somewhere and leaving someone behind. It was even longer when letters were the fastest, yet still slow, method of communication. Busking

Sat, 18 Jun 2022 15:00:09 GMT

Every day, when I go to work, there is someone sitting on the corner of the street, between my local cafe and the road to my office. Most people pass them by, heading to their own personal local coffee shop, or to their own jobs on the commercial street. I’ve been the same, most days. I duck into the café and pick up my usual before heading off to continue my normal life. But today was different.

What Happens in the Woods

Sat, 11 Jun 2022 15:00:42 GMT

Long ago, there was a county made up of three villages, with a magical forest at the centre of all three. There were tales of magical beasts in this forest, and of beings who could harness magical powers and use them at will, and the village-folk feared magic above anything else. They forbade anyone from entering the forest without good reason. But what would happen if a child from one of these villages went into the forest, discovering the true power of the forest’s magic? And what if she wasn’t afraid?

Two small neighborhood houses in a suburban town that are placed directly next to each other house two young kids-Daisy and Mars. Daisy and Mars connect over their dreams of being astronauts, and over their love for the one astronaut on the Demeter Mission that their parents won’t stop talking about- Aries Kennedy. Their parents keep saying the word “transgender” and Daisy and Mars don’t quite know what it means, but do know that when they see Aries on TV, that they want to be exactly like them.
