After resting and shopping in Otari, the party grabs their super long ladder / bridge and heads back out to the keep. Once there, they find that the bodies from their last encounters have been moved. But to where? And who moved them? Also, is there really a dragon just living in the keep and eating enormous frogs? At least the players have figured out combat and are moving through that process much quicker. The DM? He's still learning.

The whole group is FINALLY back together. That's the good news. The bad news? They all seem to be chained inside of the Assassin's Blade. But wait, it gets worse. Apparently, Filetti, who is in possession of the blade, is both trapped inside of the mountain AND hears the sounds of battle coming toward her. Who could that be? The Restless Jackals? Pyre? The Inquisitors? Someone else? Or worse, some combination of the three. Either way, things seem to be coming to a head.

Luckily, they have crack negotiator Traacs on their side, so there is no way that they will give up more than they already have. Right?

Being a benevolent creature, she has a simple offer. She will give everyone what they most desire. All they have to pay is...whatever is the most valuable to them. One by one they make their deals. At last, the Genoa is theirs. All they have to do is move it off of the island. Either that or move the island from underneath it. Simple, right?

After finally making their way through the Fog os Insanity, the Backalley Cleanup Crew finally arrives at their goal...Hydrallis. The eerie, strangely landscaped island collects it's first victim in Captain One-Tooth, who only wants to revisit his ladies. A quick scouting trip reveals that you can only dig shallow graves, the huts are really well made, and a certain tortle has a tree growing out of his head. And that doesn't even touch on "The Pretty One."

Finally, the party gets answers to several of the questions surrounding their mysterious blade. Unfortunately, they also find themselves in the middle of a proxy war between two rival factions. Their choices are simple. Give up the blade or die. Or Brian dies. Or give it up to the wrong faction and die. Maybe this isn't so simple after all. And the River God's Wrath leaves something unexpected behind. So much going on!

After escaping from the burning remnants of The Singing Sail, our party finally levels up to Level 4! Unfortunately, this happened while they discovered that their orc friend Brian has been taken and is being held hostage. While trying to find any information that help find him, they encounter a shadowy figure that had just ducked inside of a tent. Do they follow? Duh.

After cleaning up the trap that they walked into, our party gets themselves chased into the Singing Sail Inn. There, they discover just how much of their early moves in Lambrelli were known to others. They also find a secret hideout that had been recently cleaned out except for one or two little trinkets left behind. Is it me or is it getting hot in here?

Fresh off of our party's successful trap, they do a little interrogation. Without the help of their pacifist Orc friend Brian, they discover that the mysterious organization Grey's Academy has been tailing them since they arrived in Lambrelli. After deciding to make a little visit to their hideout, our party discovers that they aren't the only ones who can set a trap. Whoops!
