Our players find themselves in the curious company of a Beholder that does not seem to fit the stereotypes that their race has been labelled with in Vardor. Turns out, his name is Crick and he's not just friendly, he's got a mouth on him too.
This episode is one example of how we aim to tackle certain stereotypes within D&D, not all beholders have to be Evil or vicious. Some are kind, friendly and loveable. Let's change stereotypes in our favourite game.

Our players depart from the Xhor-Ha capital of Valarondir after concluding their business and fulfilling their mission of saving the business of shipping merchant Tygen as well as unexpectedly uprooting a deeply embedded system of corruption within the city itself. Now our players must pursue the exposed Lawmaster Lucinda Groll as she is believed to be making her way to safety in the Xayuuri-Ya capital city of Amdale.
Whilst on their journey however...one of our players comes into contact with something...unknown.
