Audio Drama synopsis: A powerful and gripping audio adaptation of the graphic novel Sacred Guardians tells the epic story of Dev, an immortal being from the island of Tumasik who is on a quest to gather five Sacred Guardians to fight against the threat of a powerful demon. Written and directed by Aydeel Djoeharie, the audio drama is voiced by Hamish Brown, Aric Hidir Amin, and other Singaporean voice actors. Prologue synopsis: Enter the Sacred Guardians Universe, where mystical warriors from the dimension known as A’zhur, or ‘Brightest Blue’ in the warriors’ tongue, fight to defend mankind against an invasion from demonic beings from the Nar’akh dimension. Chapter 1 synopsis: (The Last Azhuran) In Tumasik, a busy port-city, the immortal being Dev wanders through the bustling streets where he learns about an impending demon invasion. Dev begins his journey to seek the five Sacred Guardians who would help to protect their land. Chapter 2 synopsis: (The Chosen Five) Dev travels to different nations and islands across Southeast Asia in search of the chosen five who would inherit the powers of sacred spiritual animals, known as war-mounts, to become Sacred Guardians. Chapter 3 synopsis: (The Sacred Guardians) Harnessing the power of their sacred spiritual animals, the five Sacred Guardians join forces to fight alongside Dev, entering into an epic battle against the demons. Epilogue synopsis: Peace is finally restored to the land of Tumasik and its people continue to honour the brave and victorious pursuits of Dev and the Sacred Guardians.
