Overheard presents - Aged
Sharon, a care worker, has built a close relationship with Charlie, an elderly man with early onset dementia that she cares for. While carrying out her daily duties in his home during lockdown, she overhears his conversations with his two sons, Brian and Sean. Through a series of socially distant interactions between them, Sharon learns that Brian and Sean seem to be taking an increased interest in their father’s assets, particularly in an important key to a security deposit box. Driven by her compassion for Charlie, Sharon makes a decision that may go beyond her duty of care.

Overheard presents - Self-Conscious Objectors in a Viennese Coffee Shop
Little do Daniella and Archibald know that the October Revolution is about to break out as they discuss society over cake in a Viennese coffee shop in 1848. Their conversation is overheard and misinterpreted by the waiting staff who are equally suspicious and paranoid amidst the propaganda and political differences of the times. Confusion reigns, as does cake.

Overheard presents - Cold Dating
The challenges of dating in lockdown during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Two couples are walking along the South Bank in London. The older couple, Michelle and Colin, are struggling on their first date in many years, while the younger couple, Jess and Mark, seem to be getting on well on their second date. When Jess overhears something at Borough Market, a chance meeting reveals there is more to these dates than we initially thought.

Overheard presents - Psi Sigma Tau
Sci-Fi comedy about an extra-terrestrial and his A.I. companion, who accidentally take over the body of a hungover University student. As Josh tries to get his bearings, his A.I. tries to keep the mission on track throughout an increasingly confounding case of mistaken identity. He meets a woman who apparently knows him very well, but they can’t quite place each other. While they try to figure out how they know each other, the A.I. develops a crush on a virtual assistant.
