56. Mothgirl – Not Sponsored

Wed, 10 May 2023 06:00:00 -0400

Fleeing the scene of Snallygaster’s attack, the hunters seek shelter at Koraline Duskheart’s secluded influencer mansion. Aidan’s ex seems friendly enough, but can our heroes really trust this eccentric and misanthropic cryptid? Hopefully they can avoid making things awkward until after she teaches them how to use dream-walking magic against Beelzebub and the other Demonlords.

It would help us so much if you could fill out our first listener survey, please and thank you! - https://forms.gle/pEjB8Ugp3UPKXfHQ6

The hunters from Autumn Falls have faced a harrowing two weeks of near constant demon attacks. The last thing they need right now is for their dog to run off into the dark woods of West Virginia… oh no.

The Storyteller Squad: Expanded Universe – 04. Kicking Ass on Assateague Island (featuring $2 Creature Feature)

Mon, 26 Dec 2022 18:45:00 -0400

The conclusion to our 4-part series is here! The beaches of Ocean City have been shut down after several human hearts wash ashore. A trio of loosely acquainted and even more loosely qualified paranormal sleuths are drawn into strange and dangerous goings on which they might not be cut out to handle. Join Natalie and the cast of $2 Creature Feature as we reach the exciting conclusion to our multi-podcast crossover series. Let’s have an adventure!

SPOILER WARNING - This Episode contains story beats and details that are drawn from $2 Creature Feature’s 2nd Season, up to Episode 3. What Lies Beneath The Sofa.

The Storyteller Squad: Expanded Universe is a collaboration series of one-shot adventures featuring Natalie as Keeper, running Monster of the Week for the casts of other ttrpg podcasts. These stories are loosely set within the canon timeline of our main campaign, but are not meant to imply canon events for the other podcast series or characters. Each crossover episode can be enjoyed as a standalone piece of content, however, there is an over-arching storyline connecting each episode to the next. We hope you enjoy this new series as much as we did making it. Our beloved hunters from Autumn Falls will return with more main campaign episodes once this first round of crossover episodes are released.

Leave us a review and tell us your favorite thing about the podcast. You can help us reach our goal of 50 ratings on all major podcast platforms! (Apple, Spotify, and Google) It doesn’t take long, and we’d love to share your kind words on our social pages. Thanks Adventurers~!

Sun, 04 Sep 2022 03:30:00 -0400

The hunters take the teen squad under their wing and run them through some improvised monster combat drills. With a little time to unwind on their hands, the hunters rest, check in with each other, and make plans to be more cautious going forward. Hugo makes some calls, Damien catches up with old friends, Felicity checks on her mom, Raven and Whittaker talk vampires, and Aidan takes a nap?!

43. An Eastey Ambush

Wed, 25 May 2022 18:30:00 -0400

The Eastey Agency has finally arrived to collect their rogue field agent, Alonso Whittaker, and apprehend the demonic fugitive, Damien Edgecrest. Director Olivia Eastey has sent a crack team of experts as her retrieval squad, including her own brother, the intimidating and coldly focussed, Elias Eastey. Caught unprepared and separated, the hunters now face some of the most skilled paranormal agents in the business. The stakes, should they lose, couldn’t be higher. The beginning of an apocalyptic event is on the table if Elias or the other agents succeed in banishing Damien back to The Place Apart. And so, our heroes’ most desperate battle yet to protect their friend starts now.

31. Questions and Training

Fri, 31 Dec 2021 06:00:00 -0400

Our heroes life on the road continues, but there’s more to their day to day than gas stations and long sing-a-longs. A surprise visit from Mira finds Felicity chatting over tea with Granny Jones, Prithi offers the hunters a cover story for their ongoing travels eastward, and Damien’s delusions of grandeur grow even loftier. In an attempt to improve the group’s combat tactics, Whittaker runs the other hunters through some practice drills. With emotions running high after several days cramped in a small trailer together, this training montage is likely to be somewhat…intense.

Bonus Content: A Supersized Compliment Corner

Sat, 03 Jul 2021 05:30:00 -0400

Hello Adventurers~!

One of our wonderful, generous, and kind fans, Amanda, sponsored an episode of the show, and asked that we spend the ad-break saying nice things about each other. Well, we did... and then kept going, and went on for nearly 25 minutes. Rather than try to aggressively edit the recording down or force that much wholesome emotional vulnerability into the middle of an episode, we decided to make this special bonus clip. Now you can listen to the full version of our team appreciating each other and the story we get to tell on this podcast. It might be a little self-indulgent, but it made us smile and feel really happy, and maybe the positivity and gratitude are a bit infectious. We hope you enjoy listening, and then why not go tell someone you love how much you appreciate them. We hear sharing your favorite podcast with someone is a gift that keeps on giving~!

17. Not Even a Moment to Rest

Fri, 23 Apr 2021 16:15:00 -0400

A night out is hardly enough time for monster hunters to regroup and recuperate after a tough and emotionally taxing encounter with a restless spirit. Unfortunately, that’s all the time our heroes are afforded before a mystery they left unsolved quickly escalates into a complicated and dangerous crisis. Whittaker and Hugo make some important phone calls. Raven tries to catch some good vibes in between looking out for Aidan and Felicity. Damien’s position as “coolest” character is challenged.

16. In The Moment

Fri, 16 Apr 2021 08:45:00 -0400

With the Radio Ghost seemingly defeated, The Eastey Agency is once again safe. Or is it? As the agency headquarters begins the process of cleanup and repair, Whittaker shares his worries about Olivia with the group. A vampiric director doesn’t seem like a good thing. Going out to a Portland night club though? That sounds awesome, especially if Damien picks where to go. Raven and Aidan dance, Hugo turns down a drink, and Felicity makes a drunken phone call. What comes next for this group of heroes is sure to be an important moment.

15. The Haunting of The Eastey Agency – Part 2

Fri, 09 Apr 2021 06:30:00 -0400

The hunters are separated and trapped throughout the Eastey Agency as the Radio Ghost begins to prey upon their painful memories and insecurities. The stakes are dire as more agents lives are put at risk by the Radio Ghost’s devious spectral manipulations and control of Eastey systems. Our heroes need to stop this performing poltergeist before his radio drama turns into a full on tragedy. This week, important questions are being asked. What’s Raven got against the Eastey Agency’s requisitions department? What price is Felicity willing to pay in order to protect her friends? And most importantly, what is Hugo going to do with that mop?

Fri, 02 Apr 2021 10:05:00 -0400

The Eastey Agency operates tirelessly to protect humanity from supernatural dangers and magical threats across the country. Perhaps the professional atmosphere and fancy amenities of agent life will convince Whittaker’s friends to become his coworkers. When the hunters’ tour of the agency headquarters is interrupted by unexpected paranormal activity, will our favorite team of monster hunters make a good first impression, or wind up wishing they’d never left Autumn Falls?
