As the night goes on, Ray consumes copious amounts of alcohol, but not even a drunken haze can blind Ray to the fact that besides the time signatures being played by the band, there's something off about the night.

Broke, jobless, and without healthcare, he begins recording his day to day activities in hopes that he can discover the reason for his insomnia. While recording on the bus, Ray blacks out, and when he awakens and checks his recorder, it reveals his life may be in danger.
