A fish-stall in the Wuhan market, New Year’s Eve 2019. Momo (Barbie Wu) visits her GonGon (Francis Jue) with a secret. When tragedy strikes, Momo takes off to see the world and finds herself in Atoosa's (Kristina Haddad) empty cafe in a strangely empty airport in Tehran. Then, we're transported to a prison where Penelope discusses the truth with a Hollywood Screenwriter named Dan (Dan Kitrosser).
Episode 4: A Phone Call with a Pangolin and a Return to Wuhan

The next day, Dan (Dan Kitrosser) has an ominous phone conversation with Claudia the Pangolin (Val Landrum) from his mildewed roadside motel just outside of LA city limits. We’re then transported back to Wuhan in the dead of night where Mingxia (Mia Katigbak) stares at her father’s empty seafood stall when suddenly, Claudia appears.
