Synopsis:
Hey everyone, it's Alex, Blake and Derek. Welcome to One Hour One Offs, the only RPG podcast with a real life timer. Each episode will be a one real life hour long competition between player and DM, where the DM uses an in game contingency to end the session in disaster at the end of the hour. It is up to the player to use wit, wiles, and a healthy dose of luck to persevere, and prevent whatever dastardly plan the DM has in place. If fighting god mono e mono sounds unfair, it is, that's why our third cast member will act as moderator ensuring that everybody has a fighting chance. There are two main systems we are focusing on: the Star Wars Fantasy Flight Games system, and DnD fifth edition, with a mystery slot thrown in where the DM can bring any system they want to the table. So without further ado… hop on in and take a listen.

One Hour One Offs 19: Mice and Monsters

Join Lyrica as Mirabell and Alex as everyone else as we delve into the fantasy world of spooky mice. Mirabell is the apprentice (called a spade) to the local digger - the grizzled old mouse who keeps folks safe from the malevolent forces of the wild, especially when those forces are mystic or arcane. The Oakhills, a nearby family of squirrels have requested the digger's help, and he has decided Mirabell is ready for their first mission. Now it's up to them to face the mischievous (or perhaps dangerous) creature that has been spoiling the Oakhill's food, but neither she nor the digger are ready for what they will find.

Little does JC know, that the discovery was abandoned for reasons other than she knows.
***Also Anatolius means sunrise, not sunlight we got that wrong in the episode

Its finals week, and at Kevin Hide’s School for Sneaks and Heroes that means a face off, a showdown, a duel between desperadoes for superiority that only one of you may leave alive! At least that's what seniors tell the freshmen. Its a showdown for sure, every student is paired with another from a different class with each of them using their skills to the utmost in order to achieve victory - and a passing grade. Will our stoned student of Vecna be able to defeat the traps his 'Splosions class peer has set up for him? Probably not, he's very high and didn't study.
(PS this episode has a guest, and just for kicks we didnt tell each other anything about what we were planning ahead of time.... which is part of why it makes no sense.)

Magnum Cordite is a lone gun, a private eye, and a man on the edge. Magnum also has a blessing, or a curse depends on who you ask. If he's killed, iced, ganked, ya know, vamoosed, then he gets one hour to solve his own murder. If he does, he gets to live, if not..... well let's just say it's a long trip down. Will Magnum be able to solve the case or is he dead, doomed, and damned?

Ka’arg Turose, an older orc, has a dilemma. Someone has stole his spices with an hour before he would prepare dinner! This hardened soldier must get to the bottom of this mystery. He follows a set of tracks into a wide cave. Will he find his spices before dinner? Or will his entire routine be upset by a mischievous thief?
