High school's tough enough without having to grapple with identity issues, a criminal past, or living in a whole new country. Add superpowers to the mix, and things are going to get weird this year at Phoenix Academy.
Unlabelled AP is an actual play podcast of Masks: A New Generation by Magpie Games focusing on gender identity, friendship, responsibility, and what it means to be a hero.
Hi fans, it's Alice Kyra. I know it's been a while since anything's been on this feed, I've been meaning to record this for a few weeks and have been avoiding it.
As you might surmise from the title of this message and the prolonged hiatus, Unlabelled AP will unfortunately not be continuing. 2020 was a really rough year that's left some of the cast with new health issues and some of the cast with new priorities that need their energy so as much as it pains us, collectively we can't keep producing the show.
There are one or two more episodes of Unlabelled: Origins that were recorded and might be uploaded when we're able to get the energy to edit them, but we dont have an estimate of when that could be yet.
We are so so thankful for everyone who's listened and shared their excitement for our podcast, and we hope that you'll continue to support the cast in their future endeavors.
Unlabelled has been
Danni as the GM and Pharallax the Eternal, who can be found @battidanni

Reputation: Oldest part of town, seat of government, stuffy.
True Name: A valley of bureaucracy, the quiet of power, a lack of food options.
Events
Second Event: Civball! Zoning debates over zoning slow to a crawl so city hall breaks for a ‘friendly’ game of civball, as is traditional in Halcyon City since the Silver Age.
Consequence: Malcontent does well and garners support.
Consequence: It's a fun game, but City Hall catches on fire a little bit.
Opinion: It's time for us t o put Civball away, it's getting too rowdy.
Opinion: If we put Civball away, any goodwill left in city hall will die.
2nd Perspective: Malcontent shrewdly used civball to draw public attention to the affordable housing debates in city hall.

Location: The Bridge, the robot's old control centre now used for municipal council meetings. Address: In the robot's head. True Name: An awesome view, the weight of responsibility.
Events
First Event: Paying his respects, Pops sees his old rival Neutron Annie, no older than the day of the Event.
Opinion: The people who have actually seen these echoes don't talk about it.
Consequence: Old wounds reopen as people start to search for those long thought missing.
Question: Are these echoes people trapped in a phantom dimension trying to get out, or snapshots only visible a few times a year?
Consequence: Pops gets Annie's raygun out of his closet and has decided to try and find her.
2nd Perspective: It's not only heroes that are showing back up.

With the words of Mr. (B)Rick ringing in their ears, our heroes leave class and head out into their first full day of school. The pressure's already on, though: math tests, political campaigns, and a gauntlet thrown down, all conspiring to ruin their peaceful school life.
This time in Unlabelled: Surprising ambitions, unexpected alliances, and anachronistic advice.
High school's tough enough, at the best of times. Mix in unexpected changes to your body, being in an unfamiliar foreign country, or a criminal record hanging over you, and things get even worse. Then give everyone superpowers, from the prim class president to the cruel bully, and you can imagine the fireworks.
This time in Unlabelled: The girls start their time at Phoenix Academy, and find that even getting to class on time poses unexpected challenges...
A new year is starting at Phoenix Academy. The school's principal, Hellbinder, gets ready to meet some of his new students - and the new students prepare themselves to enter the strange world of superhero school.
Join us as we make the characters we'll be playing in Unlabelled, and set up the basic social dynamics at Phoenix Academy.
