Splitting the party, we find our heroes at a fork in the road, Kipa being tasked with stealth and subtlety, Sieghart and Aereus finding strange training given by Damascus. Sieghart and Aereus are led to a calm, healing cove. It is there that our chonky boys put their mettle to the test, making sure that toe to tip, they are worth their salt like a kosher iodized pantry item. During this macho masculine test of normative appropriate male behavior, our sneaky storyteller is doing some reconnaissance. With an Infinite Word Favor being agreed upon, Damascus thinks the Red Knight is a little... fishy... and sends Kipa to investigate, him being the most agile. Having no choice but to agree, Kipa follows the enigmatic warrior, finding himself in a strange location that looks very much like a bathhouse full of interesting and odd individuals. All of which further pushes the boundaries of what exactly is going on with this story, giving another brief peek into a deeper, more complex web of understanding that supports the strange existence of Atlantis and how it interconnects more than seems to be possible. This is further instated, as the Fathers are summoned by Minus and Prism to Prism's room. It is there that she is excited to show them that, as may have been forgotten, she is not entirely human, if at all. Episode 47: Maritime Interlude #1

The boys are BACK for 2021 as they welcome in the new calendar year with a maritime interlude! Opening the episode is a fresh new, shtanky fireside chat led by Sieghart explaining the not so solitary isolation on the island he was marooned at. Even though the underlying simmer of humor is a baseline for FAP, the inception of Sieghart's impetus for adventure is complicated, fraught with fatherly and husband responsibilities both bolstering and daunting. As the Fathers learn about their troubled chaplain, they take some much needed time after a hair-raising arc to understand the growth and developments that took place under and above the water. Sieghart's most terrifying recent realization makes him come to the other protagonists with frightening questions. Aereus must figure out what exactly it is his ancestors want from him, and Kipa studies mysterious items and their importance after retrieving them several episodes ago, in classic FAP fashion, from Icarus's labyrinth. As growth happens for all, it means crossing thresholds into points of no return, repeatedly and both intentionally and unknowingly. Our characters are no longer the misguided daddies from before, but have purpose, headings, and above all else, each other. With that, they can drink any of James Wagonblast's potions, no matter the color. Breaching the surface, the Furious Fathers arise from the depths of the hellish marine victorious, yet also paired with somber loss. They found minus, defeated Selroc, helped to start a revolution against the strangely demonic sect of Sahuagins, and made new friends while also losing others. While the time is meant for utter celebration, there is work to be done, and souls to be remembered. As well, Minus's ruby has been added to the crew, increasing the roster by another Atlantian. With Prism and him in conjunction, there is further scope as to what needs to be done, and the Paters are waterlogged and anxious to get to the horizons. Not only is there advancement of story, but also of mechanical character, as the boys get not one, or one and a half, but two levels from this arc! But as advancement is progress, one step forward may incur two steps back, and bygones can't always be bygones for our heroes. With the safety of the Sea Monster enshrouding our party from the terrors defeated from the depths, internal terrors seem to double in effort, rising as an ethereal hydra to claim what was once agreed upon on islands of old.
