Bunny Alice's Notes (Recap for Interludes and Reunion)

Bunny Alice records some notes for herself considering the events of the past year of the Kinder Center.

Ok, that’s one crisis kinda dealt with, I’ve got some time til the party. I haven’t done one of these in a year but I need to keep notes so here we go
Things have been weird since that day, a lot of new kids have joined us including the three “anime boys” of Alpha, Claire, and Thomas. Claire called Thomas and Alpha her white haired anime boys when she first showed up but look at her, she’s the most anime of them all. I hope Heather’s alright, she had some kind of adventure with the hatter where she went to another dimension where we never founded the Kinder center and apparently we had a fight… but at least according to Heather that Heather and Alice ended up mending that bridge. I also got Charlie to talk with her, but that kinda backfired especially with everything that was going on. Cora had an incident a few days ago at the beach, apparently she fought some evil looking abuelo at the beach according to Kit. Her behavior has been erratic in the past few days since but seemed to be more normal after they stopped a robbery, I might need to see if Espaza can see her.
Oh speaking of, Dusty and Kyle are back. A weird Cape agent came by with Dusty after he was picked up and Kyle rolled into town in typical Kyle fashion. Kyle is staying in the temporary rooms for now, he gonna go back to Dankrip for good once Dusty gets settled….
Dusty had a hard year and I wish I had known so I could have helped him. Someone posed as Dr Espaza and used her identity to manipulate him and it sounds like they used powers on him. He needs some therapy, but we need to stop this woman, no one hurts one of my kids, especially like that, and gets away with it.

A month ago the Dimensional Exploration Vehicle Pandora automatically checked in with NASA from its orbit around Mars. The problem is that Dimensional Exploration is still a theoretical field without any ships capable of it. The shadowy government agency, CLOAK (Calculated Logistical Offensive Actions and Knowledge) has assembled a fire team to go up to the Pandora and secure it for transport back to earth along with any anomalous entities on board.

Members of the Extranormal Containment and Research Bureau, a governmental organization dedicated to combatting, understanding, and containing the supernatural aspects of our world out of the sight of the public, have been sent to investigate the death of Eugene Quinn, he was killed in his office 3 days ago under strange circumstances. Local authorities chalked it up to a wild animal attack but his daughter also filed a missing person's report for one Robert Quinn, son of the deceased, who vanished on the same night. A retrieval team from Washington DC was sent to determine what happened and retrieve the party responsible for containment and assistance if needed.

Andrew Starr, born in 1994. Remaining Family is Sebastian Starr his father, his son Radford, his...ex wife Beverly, and he is currently dating a woman named Olivia. Code Name: Revenant, smoke powers, cowboy deal, and healing which he has specified is separate from the Revenant. He was operating before the Union formed but quickly joined up, guess bounty hunting alone isn’t what it cracked up to be. Signed up his kid recently, says he’s gonna be the next revenant. I suggested Kid Cowboy but neither of them were having it. Anyway, he’s got a good head and knows how to use a gun.

Charlotte “Charlie” Ross, Married to Sarah Elfbane, born in Mybern South Carolina in 2002. Both of her parents are deceased. Documented as having anger issues by foster parents and school administration. Moved back to Mybern before the events of Wondercon. Was high ranking in the rift alliance and went on with her future wife to found the Powered Alliance Towards Harmony. Very Capable and Incredibly Dangerous. Recommendations: Maintain Distance, report unusual activity, but do not engage. Her threat does not outweigh the amount of resources it would take to neutralize her, at least not yet.

Dadquest 2: The Bird and the Worm

"Anders Chambers, born in the… 30s I think, 1930s, not used to having to clarify that still. He went missing in the 60s, presumed dead. He was found again along with nearly a hundred people during the Manor Incident in 2019. He was picked up by the Extranormal Containment and Research Bureau along with everyone else and given some help since he didn’t have a place to go. Then in 2024 we got shut down, and Anders was cut loose with a ‘good luck’ and not much else. He found his way to Mybern South Carolina where he, Charlotte Ross, and Karl Inder met up and eventually participated in Wondercon. Reports gathered by CAPE resources shortly after wondercon points to Anders being the founder of Hastur’s cult as well as the herald of Hastur. We don’t know exactly what happened at the top of Bright Tower, but the reactor detonated and Anders died in the blast. He’s gone now, and if I might be frank, it’s for the best."

Dadquest Episode 1: Schism

At the end of Wondercon, a weeklong ride through hell, Charlie lost both Karl and Anders to the Reactor explosion. In the following months she searched far and wide for a way to get them back and ended up with a coin that would get her in to the underworld, but with no way to find the entrance she came back home and ended up settling down with Sarah right outside of Mybern. Things would remain relatively calm until one day in 2040 when a young woman named Alice with an unknown connection to Sarah and advanced cybernetics showed up at their doorstep and promptly got adopted by the two. This led to Charlie meeting Andrew Starr, a cowboy hero known as Revenant who had died and come back to life as part of a family curse and was able to find an entrance to the Underworld. It is now April 22nd, 2041: Though she has no idea where Karl is, Charlie knows Anders is in the underworld and is ready to go and get him back

Rescuing him and giving him a place to stay with Alice’s mentor, White Rabbit, the gang all went to the neighborhood cookout put on by Kayl’s dad, Kyle Redni. Fights were had, noses were kissed, and the gang eventually all got back together to watch some movies and bond. Not all was well however, Alice got home and realized her dads had been kidnapped! Calling her friends over, the young heroes headed to Spriggan Labs where Alice realized her dad, Dusty Starr, was none other than the thought dead hero, Smiles Per Hour. The teens teamed up with Alice’s other dad, Radford Starr, to fight off security and find Dusty. With quick thinking and back up from the adults, they were able to save Dusty’s life. Though as our heroes are about to learn, they may have survived this crisis but that nightmare has just begun…

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING CON-GOERS! WE'RE AT DAY 5 OF WONDERCON AND WOULDN'T YA KNOW IT, THE END IS ALMOST UPON US!
But before you go planning for the final bash, there are plenty of things to do today!

Chanting is heard from the Mybern police station and city jail downtown, followed by monsters that look biblical angels leaving the building at 10 am. After the angels leave, no survivors or bodies are found.

A man claiming to be the god of a thousand faces sets up shop in the Life’s a Beach supermart in the Beachfront, he is ready to grant wishes to anyone who comes by.

Riots grip Westside and Millinialist forces relocate Dr. Graham among others to their compound in downtown at 3pm

You know those walls blocking the business district off? Well at noon all of the gates to the district will be opened for five minutes. The hacker responsible, Alice Starr, will be caught and executed by Bright’s private guard at 4pm

Finally, with Kindness and Compassion, the Millennialists attack the Rifts Alliance on the docks at sunset!

EPISODE 1: A NEW JOB

The Sith Lords were defeated and the REPUBLIC entered an age of peace and prosperity. The Jedi Order has expanded over the centuries since the Sith Wars and their numbers are spread throughout known space!

But not all is well in the galaxy. On the planet of CORUSCANT, a Jedi Padawan has struck down his master in fit of rage and fled for KORRIBAN. The Order fears that this could be a precursor to a new rise of the sith, and have deployed Jedi Knights to the planet to bring the padawan back for judgement.

To save the wayward padawan, a rogue Jedi Master turns her sights to the planet of Cortel, a den of scoundrels and smugglers. Not able to rely on the grace of the Jedi Council, her hopes lie in the crew of The Good Ship Polycule, one of whom she shares a troubled past with.
