This is a BBC News Special Bulletin. I’m Nirev Tan. We’ve just received word of a brazen Rebel attack in the Falleen system. Zuljenn Gud, CEO of the Gud Shipping Empire, having only recently returned from completing final merger negotiations, was nearly murdered by a Rebel assassin. As you can see from this security holocam footage, obtained exclusively by the Bonadan Broadcasting Corporation, it was only by the swift work of Purnod Guardian Technologies employees that Mr. Gud, along with his cousin, Dalmeen Gud, was able to avoid the vicious Rebel attack from the next box.
(At this time, silent security holocam footage plays showing Meen Xot and Zeljunn enjoying drinks in the presidential box while standing near the bar. A Purnod Guardian Technologies guard bursts into the box and tackles them both to the floor just before a knife flies past and embeds itself in the wall. The guard appears to shout before pointing at the box below and rushing out of the box.)
The assassin’s species and whereabouts are currently unknown, though Imperial alerts have made mention of Defel and Rodian mercenaries being active in that sector. Imperial citizens are urged to be alert and report any suspicious activities of any kind to their nearest Internal Defense Force post as soon as possible. We now return you to the Champions League Final, already in progress.

[shot transitions to a holovid over the Klarata Seaside Resort and Casino] While shareholder meetings for Gud Shipping are typically glamorous just due to the surroundings, this year’s adds another layer of glitz to the mix. With the merger of Kuat Shipping and Transport and Gud Shipping on the verge of final approval, the Klarata Seaside Resort and Casino is filled with not only the biggest names in interplanetary transport, but some of the biggest power players in Imperial society.
In addition to the obvious transactions happening this weekend and the expected secret conversations that could result in new deals in the coming months, many eyes are on the security being provided. There have been discussions of Purnod Guardian Technologies, the firm providing security for the entire resort, competing for a significant contract to provide security for Imperial transport offices through the Empire. As everyone is aware, Chief of Staff Stevet Brentaar has made his entire career keeping information away from the people of the Galaxy. And it falls to those of us fighting to restore the Republic to ensure that this information is made available to all. To that end, we've just received a piece of a novel that Stevet Brentaar has been trying to suppress. For the people of the Republic, read what the Empire wants to hide away. Perhaps you can see the secret that lies within these words.
The shadows of dusk began to creep over the stately buildings of Senate Plaza. Where once the metal had gleamed and shone like gems floating in midair, now everything appeared dark and murky. This was the time that Sentev liked the most. Darkness served him well, allowing him to creep unnoticed in his flowing robes down the mostly abandoned streets. Even though the Imperial curfew kept most that would be on these streets securely hidden behind locked doors, he couldn’t be too cautious. While the content laws prevented most unwanted secrets from getting out, scandals of the flesh were still ready fodder for the holonet shows that kept the masses distracted and entertained. A high profile man such as himself was far too delicious a target to risk even a moment of indiscretion.
After a few more minutes of skulking down disused alleyways, Sentev reached the service entrance of Mercantile Prime, once the home of favorites of the Trade Federation; it had been seized by the Empire and sold off through a series of backroom deals to a corporation under the thumb of Sentev. Pressing his thumb to a small plate by the service entrance, he looked up with a smile and saw the security cameras turn off as the door slid open. Nobody needed to know that he was here and with what purpose.
Sentev stepped off of the elevator on the penthouse floor, his navy robes billowing as he walked. Even though there was but one residence on this floor, he still stole a few furtive glances as he walked down the corridor. His gait grew quicker, a mix of anticipation and nervousness, longing for the safety of his private sanctuary. At the end of the hallway, Sentev pressed his hand against the plate by the door, anxiously waiting those few seconds more as his identity was confirmed and the door slid open.
Within, the darkened room is suddenly awash with light. Sentev slipped inside and closed the door, waving his hand to turn on the lights as he did. Once inside, he finally allowed himself a moment of rest, pausing to catch his breath. The strain and rush of getting here unnoticed had taxed his pale and doughy frame, leaving him a touch breathless and his skin with a slight flush. Sentev slipped a hand into his pocket and pulled out a small clear box filled with Ryll. Taking a hefty snort from the box, he felt himself become giddy and unfocused. Finally beginning to relax, he lay down on the bed, allowing his robes to spill open slightly. Suddenly, the door opens and his heart begins to race with anticipation.
Standing in the doorway stood a woman seemingly built for secret rendezvous. Shoulder length hair colored blonde and red hung in loose curls around her face, a few strands catching on the single thick stripe of purple painted across the center of her lips. Her ice blue eyes scanned the room for a moment before landing on Sentev. Licking her lips, she closed the door and sauntered toward the bed with the pace of a manka cat surveying fresh prey. Resting his head back, Scrapper looked over at Juhnea. Taking a moment to catch his breath, he asked,“You ready for round two yet?” with a sparkle coming into his eyes.
Juhnea wiped a sweat-dampened lock out of her eyes and smirked. “You bet your sweet Devaronian ass I am.”
Reaching down, Juhnea curled her fingers and stroked. Touching gently with her fingertips, she leaned in closer to Scrapper. “I can tell you’re ready to go again already. I like that you have a quick recovery time.
This time, let’s add a little something more…” As her voice trailed off provocatively, Juhnea reached back and pulled out two small, round objects that she began to rotate in her hand.
Scrapper’s eyes widened at the sight of them. “Now Juhnea, I consider myself to be experienced, but this would be my first time with those. You sure this is a good idea?”
Juhnea winked. “Don’t worry – I’ve used these before plenty of times. I know what I’m doing.”
Scrapper chuckled, his deep laugh reverberating through Juhnea’s core. She moved closer still and whispered into his ear, “Then let’s get started.”
In a flurry of movement, Juhnea had the thermal detonators primed while Scrapper took aim with his missile launcher. Within moments, the squadron of troopers were decimated and Juhnea and Scrapper had penetrated deeper into the base.
“Right to the climax with you every time, Juhnea.”
“That’s why I’m the best partner – I’m easy to please.”

Marnek Zirt (standing in front of a burning building, groups of various species standing with signs and chanting as they’re faced down by storm troopers) Marnek Zirt from the Imperial Civic Authority on Milagro. While the insurgents gained the upper hand and were able to cause some damage to Imperial civilian authority structures, order has been restored through much of the city thanks to the application of force by troopers called in to protect the civilian population.
A curfew has been established with people required to be off the streets within the hour. Imperial authorities have released a statement attributing these protests to rebel incitement, in clear contradiction of the false insurgent statements attributing the riots to a belief that the Empire is violating civilian rights by working to end the decadent practice of interspecies relationships. This decadence has only been further reinforced by recent common creative works such as the holovid Rendezvous on Rodia and a preview release of a new work from Kiro’ezora’rugo entitled Escape From Love.
Clearly if riots like these can be caused by works espousing decadence like interspecies relationships, then perhaps the Empire should look at expanding their work beyond mere treatment. Marnek Zirt, BBC News.

“Yes Mistress!” Sargent James forced out through teeth gritted in a luscious blend of pleasure and pain.

The sting on his back reminded him to straighten up, flexing a little against his bonds. Unfortunately, it caught the attention of the creature who was filling his whole world right now.
“Now, now…” her voice drawled; sultry, teasing, bringing him closer to the edge, “We can’t have you getting loose before I say so. And you will only be doing what I say, right?” Mistress punctuated this statement by gripping a fistful of his hair and sharply pulling his head back.
“Yes mistress. I exist only to please you mistress,” Sargent James gasped out. A chuckle near his ear made him startle – with his eyes tightly bound, he couldn’t see exactly where she was. He could hear her heels click-clacking on the floor when she moved away from him but when Mistress was on the carpet near him, she disappeared to his senses.
“Oh, you do please me, my pet. You please me greatly with your groveling. You Imperial types are so good at begging. And it would please me so very much to hear you beg.” Sergeant James choked back a gasp as he felt Mistress’ hand grip his throat and start to squeeze. His eyes fluttered back for a moment, until the terror of displeasing Mistress was stronger than the urge to black out. He opened his mouth and began to beg in the most pathetic terms he could think of.
“Please Mistress….please. I’ll do anything for you Mistress. I’ll tell you anything Mistress. I’ll join the Rebellion, Mistress. Please Mistress – let me tell you all our secret plans. Please Mistress…”
Sergeant James could hear the smile in her voice as Mistress purred, “So, about those secret plans…”

“I could always keep you company out here,” Francine said, gazing into Max’s eyes and gently laying a hand on his chest.
“Well, I guess if you’re out here with me, I’ll be able to make sure you don’t get into trouble.”
Francine looked over at Ren and Kay with a subtle nod. The mechanic and the smuggler ducked into the security room. Francine hoped they would be quick.
“Tell me more about…you, Max,” Francine drawled, slowly dragging her fingers up Max’s throat. “I’d really like to learn more about your life. How did a handsome Quarren like you come to be working in security?” Francine leaned closer to him, bringing her right arm up to rest on his shoulder, draping her hand behind his head. Her left hand continued to softly stroke on his throat and chest. While Francine wasn’t quite leaning on Max, she was close enough for him to feel the heat of her body. She felt Max shift his blaster to hang behind his back, his hands laning on her waist. With every response from Max, Francine continued to ask about more and more; life on Corfu, relations with the Mon Cal, and just how he occupied his lonely hours in security.
After about forty-five minutes and still no sign of her compatriots, Francine steeled herself internally. Max seemed to be a decent guy and was definitely enjoying her attention, certainly more than she enjoyed providing it. However, the mission comes first and she knew she’d have to commit more to this seduction to hold his attention. Francine pressed into Max, drawing her left hand up and over Max’s shoulder to join her right hand behind his back. With a gentle nudge, she pressed her hips against his. Max’s hands moved to encircle her waist more fully and drew her in a little closer.
“Max, I have just one more question for you. Have…” Francine paused, blushing lightly and ducking her head a little, seemingly hesitant. “Have you ever…kissed…a human before?” She looked deep into Max’s eyes, tilting her head to the side. Before Max could reply, Francine closed her eyes and lifted her head, moving her lips closer to his. She felt a tentacle gently stroke her cheek; soft, warm, tender. Maybe this assignation wouldn’t be so terrible after all?
With careful maneuvering, Francine and Max pressed their lips together. At first tentative, the kiss grew in passion until Francine felt Max’s tusks pressing into her chin. Pulling back, Francine gave a slight smile up at Max.
“This is my first time with a Quarren. I like it but…” Francine disentangled one hand and brought it forward to gently touch the tip of one tusk. “I don’t think these are compatible with my anatomy.”
“Well, we could always try…this,” Max murmured, leaning his head down close and letting his tentacles stroke along Francine’s cheeks and neck. Francine sighed and closed her eyes, enjoying the sensation. She leaned back, exposing her neck to more of Max’s ministrations. Francine let her hands trail down his back giving herself fully to their embrace. With a slight growl of pleasure, Max slid his left hand up caressing Francine’s back while his right hand slid down from her waist.
“Yes,” thought Francine, “this assignation is working out much better than expected.”

Talisen pressed closer to Rekh as the speeder bike raced through the forest, tightening his grip. They had been fleeing for hours,to a secure hide-out Rekh knew. Supposedly, Talisen would be safe there. He only hoped they would get there soon, as the sun was setting and light was getting low.
Just a few moments later, Rekh circled the speeder for a landing. Cutting the engines, Rekh briefly clasped his hand on Talisen’s arms in a semi-embrace before stepping free from the bike. Once down, he extended his hand to help Talisen off.
“This way. There’s a cabin. You must be exhausted.” Without letting go of Talisen’s hand, Rekh led him to a small building with a light on inside. Talisen was so exhausted, both mentally and physically, he could barely nod his head.
Inside, Rekh ushered Talisen to a bedroom. All Talisen cared about was that it had a bed. As he flopped down, his weariness overcoming him, he heard Rekh say, “Sleep. You’re safe now. I won’t let anyone harm you.” A gentle hand stroked back his hair, a whisper of a kiss on his forehead. Talisen was unconscious before the door was closed.
In the morning, or what Talisen supposed was the morning, he awoke, sore but refreshed. It took a bit to recall fully the previous evening’s events – the attack, the chaos, Rekh spiriting him away. He realized he didn’t know where he was. Taking a moment to run a hand through his sleep-flattened hair and to straighten his banyan, Talisen ventured out to find his rescuer.
The cabin was small. He had apparently slept in the only bed. In addition to the room he had slept in, he passed the fresher, went through a small common area, and ended up in a cooking area, where a plate of food sat still steaming. No sign of his host. Talisen heard a faint splashing come from outside.
Heading outside, Talisen saw that the cabin was situated near a small lake, with a waterfall crashing down. The secluded glen they were in was surrounded by tall trees and the sounds of Lannik wildlife filled the air.
While Talisen was taking in the natural beauty of the area, Rekh surfaced from the water, arcing upward through the surface and throwing his head back. His horns sent a spray of water through the air that turned to rainbows in the sunlight. Rekh ran his hands along his face, wiping the water away. Talisen could only stare as the water ran down Rekh’s perfect body, highlighting the chiseled musculature of his arms, pectorals, and abs. As Rekh stood up, the water ended low enough on his hipbones for Talisen to know that the only thing covering him was the lake. Talisen stared for moment and then hurried back into the cabin. It would not do to be caught gawking.
Hurriedly arranging himself at the counter, Talisen took a bite. He nearly choked when Rekh strolled in, wearing a thin towel so sheer the light shone through. It didn’t help that the towel was hitched lower on Rekh’s hips than the water had been. A drop slowly ran from Rekh’s abs along the defined line that led at a downward angle from Rekh’s hips. Idly, Talisen wondered what it would be like to follow the path of water with his tongue on that smooth skin.
Only when he registered Rekh clearing his throat did Talisen look up.

Siv Tasker: Welcome back to Credit Craze! And now, as always, my three big tips for you to make crazy credits (ringing bell sound) in the coming months!
First up, Vertex Publishing. Not only are sales of current books falling as Breathless on Coruscant from Zeltron Arthouse continues to burn up the holonet download charts, but now there’s even more bad news. We’re hearing rumors that Seven at Sunset, the rumored next novel from the reigning ruler of romance, Kiro’ezora’rugo, is delayed for unspecified reasons. Is Synthia Teesee about to knock the crown off of Kiro and proclaim herself the new princess of prurience? Until we know for sure I am a Strong Sell (foghorn noise) on Vertex Publishing.
Next, Gud Amalgamated Shipping. It’s been a strong performer in the past, but we’re now hearing that they are planning two big moves. First, they’re going to be expanding out of commercial shipping into government contracting as well. While I would normally shoot down (blaster fire sound) rumors like that when a Falleen company says they’ll be working on Imperial contracts, I have it on strong authority that Zujenn Gud has been meeting with top officials personally at the Deputy Moff’s residence. I fully expect we’ll see a formal announcement in the coming days so Hold if you already have exposure here, but this is otherwise a Strong Buy (siren sound).
Finally, Tynna Energy Consortium. There have been rumors flying about the new activity that’s been happening around their rhydonium fields. Well it appears that current majority shareholder, and Minister of Planetary Development, Trenev Galeck, will be making a personal appearance to celebrate the latest developments around the nanoshaft drilling taking place there. While there have been some minor complaints about environmental issues and other problems caused by nanoshaft drilling, it’s nothing that Tynna Energy hasn’t handled before. The Minister wouldn’t make a personal appearance unless it was all good news, so get in on this before the price blows up (explosion sound). Strong Buy!

We turn now to Nar Shaddah with news of an attack believed to be the work of a cell of rebel terrorists and sympathizers. Mirina Steeb is live outside Deucalon Spaceport. Mirina?
Mirina Steeb: Thank you Nirev. (Gestures toward a damaged and burned troop transport) As you can see behind me, the attack was swift and violent. Official reports state that twenty-four of our brave soldiers were ruthlessly murdered during the attack. While there has been no official claim of responsibility, Imperial officials state that they believe this to be the work of the terror group, the so-called Children of Alderaan, a militant group known for their violent tendencies and dedication to propaganda and conspiracy.
NT: Mirina, I understand there was a disturbance within the spaceport prior to the attack as well. Do the investigators believe there's any connection?
MS: Not at this time, Nirev. A spiritual leader from Naboo was arrested on suspicion of embezzling funds from his church. His name, at present, is being withheld by authorities. The arrest was made by Sgt. Grey Spader who has intimate knowledge of the entire situation. According to him, there's no indication that there is any connection between the two incidents.
