Crossharbour Refuelling Station enables long-distance space travel between distant nebulae, housed on an uninhabited planet that is countless lightyears from the human sector of space. It is operated by the Myrmalir – fungal creatures that emit a phosphorescent glow and live to serve their benevolent ruling force: the Hypogene.
The skeleton crew is made up of Bark, the curmudgeonly but devoted senior coordinator counting down the days until he can see his son again, and Bramble, a promising doctoral candidate whose research could change her people’s future if she doesn’t get distracted by artefacts from the planet’s past. Because there is more to this planet than the Hypogene has told them, and an unusual influence is guiding them to discover long-buried secrets.
The Moonray has not long left Crossharbour when a colossal tragedy leaves only one survivor: Solent, a junior pilot who is so terrified by what happens that he claims he can’t remember anything. A feral force is threatening the continued existence of life in this corner of space, with Crossharbour itself in terrible peril.
When trouble with the TARDIS leaves the Doctor and Kim-Ly trapped on Crossharbour, the daily difficulties of adapting to a completely alien way of life is the least of their worries. As a web of deception and danger reveals itself, the travellers must do all they can to survive the consequences of unearthing the truth…

Married couple Ludvik and Jozka want to play music and raise their daughter, but the threat of conflict is forcing them to decide how far they will go to keep their family safe. Hapless diplomat Alistair wants to make a difference, but his boss, Valentine, refuses to intervene, and he’s worried that the woman he loves is getting involved in dangerous matters.
But it isn’t only the advance of the Red Army that they have to worry about: the alien Koe-Maw are also visiting Prague, and the Doctor wonders whether their promise of salvation is all it seems. It was a place Nurse Millie Foley thought she could do some good and contribute to the war effort, where Private Fergus McNish thought his troubled life would surely end after being wounded in action, and where Major Edgar Rankin was secretly glad to have been posted, feeling safer away from the fighting.
When Corporal James Rutherford is injured, he is tended to by the kind Nurse Foley and a mysterious and often insubordinate Doctor. But it is the strange Lady in White who tries to soothe Rutherford’s ills and wishes to show him the ultimate act of mercy. She claims he has one day left to live, but that can’t be right, can it? Only the Lady in White can see his true pain, and only he can see her.
With his TARDIS missing, presumed stolen, and limited assistance from a field hospital unwilling to believe in these ethereal beings that only the dying can see, the Doctor must discover the truth behind the Ladies in White—an opponent even he can’t perceive—soon, or humanity will face a conflict that could eclipse even the horrors of the Great War…

A new predator is lurking in the waves, attacking anything that crosses its path.
As Bess helps the young and impulsive Rabiah provide for her family, going on a perilous fishing trip that will take them to a mysterious island, the Doctor befriends concerned merchant Beku and annoys the wealthy Minhotep while trying to defend Tamiat against another menace: the Sea People, marauding pirates intent on stealing anything of value and destroying what’s left.
Surrounded by danger, the Doctor and Bess face overwhelming odds to protect not only the people of Tamiat from a deadly human threat but also the entire world from an alien species capable of dominating Earth’s food chain. The only hope lies in a desperate and treacherous act that could cost the Doctor his life.

But she still takes tea and discusses the neighbours because she has to fit in. The Doctor said so – she’s on an important mission: to infiltrate a select group of friends that are secret occultists who have stumbled onto a deadly entity on the periphery of this dimension.
Antoine doesn’t belong with all of the urchins. He can’t stand their dirtiness and accents. Since he doesn’t fit up the chimneys, he spends his days trying to pick out valuables from the swill left behind. But he has to fit in as well. The Doctor said so – he’s also on an important mission: to track down the horribly mutated creature scavenging the sewers for its next meal.
The Doctor loves it. Ever since the Tardis abandoned them on the outskirts of London in 1867, he has been so very happy tending to a small allotment, growing vegetables in peace. He’s made friends, even has a lady taking interest in him. He’s fitting in. He’s on a mission too: to have fun. Except he soon gets drawn into a murder mystery, people going missing and supposed sabotage on the allotment.
All while the Loringa grows stronger, deep underground. It has created an intricate web underneath the city, one large enough to pull it all down. But with the travellers distracted with smaller issues, will they discover the truth and save London from a premature burial?

Life in Stalin’s Russia is hard as the Doctor discovers when the TARDIS takes him and Antoine to an industrial town intent on doing all they can to meet their targets. But they soon get swept up in history, falling in with politicians and workers all trying to survive the harsh realities of their lives.
While Antoine goes underground and experiences the claustrophobic horrors of a cramped mineshaft, the Doctor witnesses firsthand the paranoia and fear rife throughtout the country. It’s the time of the Purges and nobody is safe.
But who is hiding in the warehouse on the outskirts of the city? Why are they mining for minerals nobody has ever heard of? What are the creatures that scurry around just out of sight? And who is responsible for the hole in the time vortex?
Sometimes, being forced to work until you drop dead isn’t the worst thing that could happen to you.

Some have given up. Some have sided with the Zylons. Most just try to survive day to day. And some continue the fight, not against the Zylons but against their fellow humans.
The Doctor and Camille find themselves caught in a war of desperation, and the cost for freedom may be too high even for them.

Those who stood against him would taste the cold steel of his sword. Some, however, suffered a worse fate. There are terrible stories about the dungeons of Drakmoore. Unspeakable horrors. And beyond the dungeons, past the dank cells that held the dead and dying, was the seventh dungeon. The dungeon where Gargaman’s evil rested. Where men faced the truth behind the power of Drakmoore…and lost their souls.

Our scans show your technological level to be quite low. You can barely escape your planet’s gravity and you’ve never travelled beyond your system. Why would you invite such as this upon yourself? Oh well, it doesn’t matter. Honour must be maintained. Prepare to die.”
Mankind’s greatest disaster has come upon him as, in a matter of moments, New Orleans becomes the first victim of alien reprisal. It seems Earth’s gesture of friendship to the galaxy has been grossly misinterpreted. But who can stop the ensuing cataclysm unleashed by a race bent on vengeance?

When we last saw the Daleks in the Doctor Who story Remembrance of the Daleks, they were fighting among themselves and their homeworld Skaro was destroyed. But in the Doctor Who TV-Movie starring Paul McGann, we got a glimpse of the planet Skaro which is apparently intact.
So what the heck happened?
The Empire of the Daleks takes on the ambitious task of explaining it. And then some. The Daleks return to their former strength with a vengeance. The Doctor (Jeffrey Coburn) and his companions discover that the Daleks have somehow reunified their forces. What’s more, they have changed their own past and the Doctor must find out how they succeeded.
Then-associate producer Thomas Himinez, and Dark Dreams scriptwriter and former script editor Joe Medina, worked together on this six-part audio-adventure. Their intention was to create an epic tale in which the Daleks would be dangerous adversaries once again and, at the same time, provide a worthy backdrop for the personal stories of the characters fighting them.
Empire of the Daleks will be the last trip aboard the TARDIS for Mark Triyad (Peter Hinchman). We learn more about his past and the psychological scars left from his military career in the 24th Century. And through the course of his final adventure, Mark gets a chance at new friendship (and possibly romance), only to watch it die before his very eyes…then find it again.
We also get hints about the past of companion Dara Hamilton (Sheri Devine). Dara first appeared in Countdown to Armageddon as a rebellious student at the Cantebury School for Girls. In Empire of the Daleks we find out that Dara had deeply personal reasons for attending Cantebury School, reasons that still haunt her even now.
But the Doctor’s companions aren’t the only ones with curious revelations in Empire. The Daleks destroy lives as well as exterminate them, and the characters that appear in the story to oppose them provide testimony to it. Not only is the survival of the human race threatened by the Daleks, but also its nature. The relentless and brutal struggle reveals the dark aspects of characters we think we can rely on in this story, and the lowest of the low finds a shred of human decency in himself.

Cybermen. Their very name strikes fear across the galaxy.
Since time immemorial have these metal beings of evil threatened all life. Yet from out of their terror, something does come good. An alliance of planets pledged to fight them to the very last. And from this alliance stands the planet Canis: the greatest threat the Cybermen have yet faced.
But not even eternal vigilance can stop the Cybermen. They have plotted…and planned…and now, their time of fruition has come.
If even the mighty Canis can not stop the Cybermen now, who indeed can ever stand up to them?
