We return to the main story line of the Night Black Agents adventure Space Bar. The Crew is in London and just had a nasty surprise dropped in their lap.
This is our final episode of the Streets of Avalon adventure that Brett from Gaming and BS ran for us. When last we left, the band of rogues had decided that taking cutters money and getting his out of town was a better idea. Let's listen in and see how true that was.
The Knights of the Night were lucky enough to have Brett B from Gaming and BS join us briefly and run a three episode tale in the Streets of Avalon setting. A Kickstarter that is already funded as well as achieved more than half of its stretch goals. It is well worth checking out. It is definitely our favorite setting for 5E adventures. The Kickstarter can be found at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/encoded/the-streets-of-avalon?ref=user_menu .
For those of you who have listened to the Wednesday Evening Podcast Allstar’s Avalon adventure, I’m sure you recognized Cutter and hopefully he will be showing up in this adventure. The KotN members who played this adventure enjoyed it greatly and hope that you do as well. Now - on to the podcast!

Planning time over, time to gather the troops! Everyone must be convinced to chip in. I’m sure Roberto will be able to smooth talk everyone into helping – right?
Sorry about the quality on this one - the ocean is loud and this was recorded while at the beach in NC with the family. Staring two young, up and coming role players.
Let’s get down and we’re doing it without the Mad Wizard Merwin. That’s right. I went to my very deep bench to grab some friends to talk about what D&D means to them. I have Mark, Tom, and Brett to help me out, get down, and spin some wonderful tales about family and gaming. So get in and get down and lets go kill some monsters
The Crew is back and someone is in trouble, someone did something they shouldn’t have, something rash and impulsive that may get them in a LOT of trouble. And it wasn’t Roberto…
Demon infestations are getting worse. Roberto is wondering if he needs more power.. The other trio is busy recovering from a night of mischief, but there is never time for rest.
Exactly how amoral is London? Does he even think about why something is wanted? Who he’s taken it from? Why is it so guarded? Has the group passed taught him nothing? What do you think?
We take a look at the state of the Dresden Universe in Cleveland - as we left it in the Rituals story line. Listen in as we discuss ideas and possible plot points.
Half the crew is still sick but this time it includes the GM! What is a RPG group to do? Play a one-shot you say? But.. the members who ARE here hate one-shots, they prefer to play established characters. Is there a solution? Will the one-shot truly be a one-shot?!? Listen and find out.
All right, back to RPG time. I believe that we left off with Dally and the Dwarves perched on the edge of a ditch…. gully…. gulch? Well, whatever it is, we are about to peek over it and see what’s or who is making all this noise.
Con on the Cob kept us busy, but it also gave us a chance to meet some amazing people and play some amazing games. Join us as we interview one of those people about one of those games..
The AP is back! (even if Rachel and Jim are missing). The crew is racing to the gate, hoping it will "fix" them before they all fade away.. But there is this little problem of a few ghosts.
Once again the party is split, but this.. this is a little more serious. Can the non-corporeal members of the group find a way to a more substantial state? Can the odd couple of Silverbell and Dr. Clay find a way to help, or will they just argue while their friends suffer?
If you don’t open the door, the door will open you… Wait that doesn’t make any sense. The crew returns to the hotel to discuss the bombshell that Grace / Silverbell just dropped in their lap. Will it be an episode of nothing but discussion? Don’t count on it.
A discussion in front of a door, research that answers some questions but not all. But most importantly, an answer to a question asked by the players back in 2010…
With enough puzzle pieces to begin figuring things out. The crew sits down and tries to at least get the board of the puzzle figured out. Oh yeah, and there is a prison to be questioned..
We attempt to take down the intruder again. Does it work better this time? Will everyone - hell, will anyone appreciate Grace / Silverbell? Has Chu Wandered off again? Listen in and find out!
Once again the party is split in two, but all members are desperately attempting to get back together. Or are they… Where did Silverbell go and what is she up to?
We open with Edmund face to face with the Shattered Man. Well... face to reflection. In the World of Darkness surely it was just a simple scare tactic.. right?
It’s library time. Time to get some knowledge on the Shatteredman. At least for 4 of the party members. Two of the others are going off to grab a mirror from Western Union and Sister Katie is watching the kids – WHAT?!?!
Zelda in the hand of the enemy? And Ryan Nelson is about to feel the wraith of her protectors. Who will be the first to pull the trigger on taking him down? Listen in and find out.
Roberto is missing and the group seems to be falling apart at the seams. So what better time to head off into the heart of the enemies territory? With friends like these….
Roberto has let the rest of the party know he has a Denarian Coin in his pocket, but the one thing we can count on is him taking calm, thought out actions – right? Well, you’ve waited an extra week for this episode – hope you enjoy it!
The group splits up again. One group heads off to visit the leader of the white court vampires. Another to touch base with a paranet group leader and Roberto? He goes Batman-ing – or does he? You make the call.
The Warden Allan is not responding and a terribly powerful new enemy is threatening the area. Can the crew find a way to help the Warden? or are they on their own?
We finish off the characters and start the adventure, with the Warden returning to action at the scene of a murder. A Murder that has an interesting component...
The crew is brought before the leader of Serenity and he discusses their future. Can they avoid being sent back to the salt mines? Or does their future hold something more interesting things..
The crew has their mission and a few shins to equip themselves. What will they need and what really is the story behind their missions, surely it’s not as simple as it seems..
A few final purchases and then the group leaves the city of Serenity behind them – but they’ve brought a bigger problem along with them and the time to deal with it is quickly approaching
Are they in a new world? A pocket dimension? A Numenera created fabrication? One thing is for certain, things can’t get any stranger then they are now…. Right?
The Mantas Man has been sent back home, but what about the Demon in the room and the Red Cloaks in the town? And most importantly for the portly paladin… what about lunch??
The crew has found their way to the scar and the reason for the demon incursions into their realm. Can they possible roll all failures and still manage to stop the process? Well.. they are going to try.
Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more. The gang heads down to the source of all the villages trouble. What will they find? And who has been asked to stop what? Listen and find out.
The villagers don’t seem all that thrilled that the adventurers are in town. And is the rain ever going to stop? Are these the only issues they will have to deal with as they explore the scar? I wouldn’t count on it..
The crew splits and tackles two problems at once or maybe to cause a few problems of their own. Will one groups actions effect the other group – and if so, for good or bad?
As the adventurers get near their destination – the find something amiss in the village of Greenwood. Who or what is preventing the peaceful completion of their journey? Listen in to find out!
Join us for a lightly edited episode of KotN. We meander our way through the creation of our Dungeon World setting. (I’ve even left a few jokes and puns in).
Fires rage out of control all over the farmstead. Decapitated spirits howl in the smoke-choked air. A vampire slowing losing control on the brink of frenzy.
Task Force S.I.R.E.N. has been in tight spots before, but none quite as perilous as this.
What becomes of our exhausted heroes? Tune in to part two of our two-part conclusion to find out…
Task Force S.I.R.E.N. has been bloodied, battered and bruised during their foray into Chagrin Farm.
Split into two separate groups, the task force is weakened and facing an enemy uniquely suited for their teammates on the opposite side of the farmstead.
Will the members be able to respond to the life-and-death challenge that they are ill equipped to handle?
Tune in for the first part of our two-part conclusion.
Task Force S.I.R.E.N. leader Jay Alton is a man on a mission. In his time of need, the entire task force falls in behind their captain in an effort to rescue his abducted sister.
Will Clare be found safe? Or is she just another victim on the mean streets of East Cleveland? Tune in to find out...
Mere hours before they are scheduled to leave for the farmstead Task Force S.I.R.E.N. puts their entire mission in jeopardy in order to rescue one of their own. Jay is a man-possessed as he attempts to free his little sister from an unknown danger. What has Clare gotten herself into? And who (or what?) is threatening her?
Task Force S.I.R.E.N. flashes back one final time to the mean streets of East Cleveland in a desperate scramble to save a blood relative, while in the present, three very wounded and bloody heroes try to negotiate with a creature whose primitive blood-lust threatens their very lives.

Fires rage all around the compound lighting up the night sky like a becon. And surely someone has noticed the cconstant magazine reports echoeing through the darkness even in this remote location.Time is running short.
But in the cool, dank recess of a storm cellar, Jay and Daniel calmly steel themselves for an encounter with god knows what. One rickety, termite-infested door is all that separates them from death or salivation.
The end game is drawing nigh. While most of Task Force S.I.R.E.N. is scrabbling to reach the safety of their vehicle two members steel themselves before entering the storm cellar and the horrors that may lie lurking within.
As mentioned in the feedback - Help a fellow gamer out! - http://www.gofundme.com/2ja4aw
With the outcome of the mission still very much in doubt, the Task Force struggles to hold onto their gains, or in some cases just survive for a few more moments.
But if chaos reigns throughout the farmstead, so too does it reign in mind of one of our brave heroes.
Join us for harrowing journey into both the wilds of Chargin Farm and into the childhood memories of one of Task Force S.I.R.E.N.'s finest.
Task Force S.I.R.E.N. has splintered into four groups desperately clinging to life: Michael and Sister Katie grasp the hands of the innocent children and attempt to lead them to safety.
Edgard finds himself on his hands and knees with death rapidly approaching.
Agent Chu Park's unsteady hand tries to fire upon an inhuman entity that endlessly shambles after him.
And finally, Daniel and Jay find themselves in an unexpected, brutal, tight-quarter encounter that may decide the fate of the entire operation.
The action shifts back to Chagrin Farm and the long anticipated meeting between Task Force S.I.R.E.N. and the sniper in the stone colonial.
What awaits Daniel at the top of the burning stairs? Is it Danny Rocklin? Or has Valkyrie already disposed of him? Or is something altogether different?
And what other surprises may await the unwary in flaming, smoke-infested halls of the house that Danny built?
In a dramatic flash-back scene, Task Force S.I.R.E.N. follows a twisting trail to interview Danny Rocklin's ex-wife. What illumination can she shine on the mysterious hunter? And does she share anything of value that will aid the group in their midnight run to Chagrin Farm on the following day?
While Jay, Chu and Sister Katie chase down leads at the Police Museum, the rest of Task Force S.I.R.E.N. make a return visit to the DeStefano's old garage. What they find hidden away may influence the events at Chagrin Farm in the days to come...
Jay leads an investigation to Cleveland's Police Museum that only deepens the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Danny Rocklin and his daughter Grace. And what do the infamous Torso Murders from the 1930's have to do with it?
The gunfire, blood and adreneline subside for a moment as Task Force S.I.R.E.N. has a group-flashback to the mean streets of Cleveland and their desperate attempt to unravel the mystery of Danny Rocklin, hunter legend.
The battle rages in the fields and the stone colonial as Task Force S.I.R.E.N. press their attack. But advisers new and old threaten to stem the advance: A dark form hovers over the battlefield silent and ominous; demons still stir in the hot midnight air hungry for new souls; and the undead clamber for the warm flesh and blood of our heroes.
In a cacophony of gunshots, moans, screams and gibbering madness a tiny voices begins to sing in the gore-soaked fields. And maybe, just maybe that's enough to save the innocent and turn the tide of the battle.
The stone colonial. That silent, hunched sentinel has stood in harsh judgment as the task force struggled to reach its seemingly impenetrable walls. That monolithic shadow at the far end of the farmstead has dealt pain, anguish and fear in equal measures to friend and foe alike.
Its deafening silence. Its chimney benching foul smoke. Its broken windows with glass shards like angry teeth. The stone colonial has been waiting to devour any hunter who dares to enter its realm.
What to do with children stranded in the middle of a battlefield?
Are the zombies a result of the task force's actions? And if that wasn't enough, certain creatures of the night make a reappearance at exactly the wrong moment.
All of this and another flashback with Michael Clay's favorite hacker advisory Binary Hex. Listen in...
Task Force S.I.R.E.N. finds itself divided on the battlefield. One faction faces death and dismemberment in the trailer home while the others continue to push deeper into the farmstead at their own peril. Prepare yourself for a blood-soaked episode...
One of the more dramatic moments of the Task Force S.I.R.E.N.'s mission leads to a flashback and a battle of wits between an enigmantic interloper and Micahel Clay..
Two of Task Force S.I.R.E.N.'s finest enter the trailer home and discover a unique meaning for the term 'trailer trash,' while the rest of their comrades continue their clash with the Valkyrie commandos. Much blood is spilled in this riviting episode... and most of it is from the veins of our trusty heroes.
A potential ally that may also stab them in the back? Check. A clash with Task Force Valkyrie Black Ops? Check? A sniper raining hell from on high? Check. Bodies in the grass? Check.
Task Force S.I.R.E.N. has been in tight spots before and tonight is certainly no different. They will need every ounce of their skill and creativity to keep the mission from collapsing and to keep everyone alive. The question is... has their luck finally run out?
There are many types of wounds in the World of Darkess. The haunting memories of a childhood gone terribly wrong. The pain of a bullet ripping skin and shattering bone.
In the next 10 seconds, Task Force S.I.R.E.N. will experience all of those and more. Come along for the ride but be sure to bring some extra bandages...
Every fight has an ebb and flow unique to itself. Task Force S.I.R.E.N. - on it's heels from the very beginning - finally find their balance and press deeper into horrors of the farmstead.
The only question is: Did they push too far, too fast?
The Feeder Demons have arrived en masse and a complicated situation grows more tenuous by the moment. Michael Clay plums the depths of his occult knowledge to try and stem the demonic tide, while Sister Katie lends some magic of a less mundane sort.
But will it be enough to save the mission? And more importantly, will it be enough to save their souls?
How do you control your fear in the blackest of nights when you're miles from home and being targeted by an unseen sniper? When lifeless bodies are strapped to fencing as some type of demented warning? When a seemingly innocent woman in bleeding out before your very eyes? Well you'd best get a handle on it my friend because the demons can sense your fear and they'd like to join the party...
A sniper attempts to pin down the Task Force at the farmstead's entrance. Before too much time has passed that single sniper is the least of the players' worries. As Daniel and Edgard forge further into the compound the sniper's echoing reports become a simple backdrop to an evening gone terribly awry.
Following Jay's orders the team cautiously approach the farmstead in the dead of night. But when point-man Edgard takes a single step onto the farmstead proper things turn dangerously violent in an instant...
