I know what I’m seeing in the mirrors. The maintenance crews, the "routine" roadside stops, the vehicles that seem to follow the same erratic logic as my own—they aren't accidents. I’ve realized that the world is being managed, and I’ve seen too much of the machinery.
They know that I’m watching. I can feel the change in the air every time I pull over. But as long as I stay in this truck, and as long as I keep the tape rolling, I’m still ahead of them. This is my documentation of the patterns they think I haven't noticed.
If you find these files, you’re already part of the trail. I’m just a guy in a truck, and you’re just a listener. Let’s keep it that way. Don't look too long at the workers. Don't acknowledge the shadows. Just listen.

I’m recording this in the truck. I started by giving her a name, because I don't know who else to talk to. I saw them changing a streetlamp today—a guy just looking at me looking at him. It didn’t feel like maintenance.
There was a car following me for a while, but it turned off. Now I’m looking at this red Subaru that’s always outside the laundromat. It doesn't matter what time it is, it’s just there. Like a glitch. I can't stop thinking about that Cave philosophy... the idea that the headlights in my rearview aren't just lights, but meanings I haven't decoded yet. I’m rambling, I know. I just have to get this down in case I can't record a second one.
FILE STATUS: ACTIVE
PROTOCOL: These tapes are recorded in-situ. I do not exit the vehicle while the recorder is active. If a gap in the sequence exceeds 72 hours, assume the drop zone has been compromised.
NOTICE: If you see the "Maintenance" crews, do not acknowledge them. They are part of the architecture. If you are being followed, do not go home. Just keep driving.
