The Waif Beneath the Willow

Fri, 26 Dec 2025 14:04:40 GMT

When the deceitful father of a terminally ill little girl puts his own greed and selfishness ahead of supporting his child, he encounters a strange woman seemingly hellbent on inserting herself into his life.

Is she a manipulative fraudster? A weird do-gooder? Or something altogether more... sinister?

As the man tries to deal with this unpleasant newcomer in his self-absorbed world, will he come clean and do the right thing? Will he continue with his scheming ways? Or perhaps the waif beneath the willow has different plans for him altogether?

Forever's Whenever Everything Always

Forever's Whenever Everything Always.

H is a man who struggles with his memory. He's uncertain of his age. He can't recall his own childhood, or what he ate for dinner the previous night. He doesn't even know his own name; but this morning... the name 'H' feels okay.

In a dystopian near-future where unemployment is all but a death-sentence, H takes solace in the fact that he does have a job. He is one of millions employed by 'The Company' - a preposterously, unfathomably gargantuan, global mega-corporation.

The Company's policies and procedures are all H has ever known.

But today, when a grizzly discover is made on his day shift, H finds himself trapped in a deadly fight between morality and madness in a world where the conveyor belts of profit and consumerism trump both.
