After escaping the train, the villains’ brief respite in the desert is shattered when a vengeful hobgoblin general tracks them down, forcing a brutal confrontation that leaves more than blood in the sand. Meanwhile, the heroes arrive in Fallhearth, where divine whispers, political obstruction, and growing cult activity leave the town on the brink of collapse. Faced with an impossible choice, the party sets its sights on a sunken temple—unaware of what truly waits inside.
As night gives way to dawn, both sides move closer to something ancient, powerful, and watching.

What begins as a stolen ride aboard a hobgoblin military train spirals into total mayhem when plans unravel, tempers flare, and desperation takes over. As the situation aboard the train grows increasingly unstable, the line between escape and catastrophe blurs, leaving lasting consequences in its wake.
Meanwhile, the heroes’ attempt to deliver a critical warning to the Empire goes disastrously off the rails thanks to an unexpected companion whose presence proves more destructive than any enemy blade. Old secrets surface, true identities are revealed, and fractured trust forces the party to confront what really binds them together.
With messages lost, paths divided, and chaos echoing across the realm, both sides are left asking the same question:
Was this all an accident… or the first sign that something far worse is unfolding?
