At the Lovelace estate, whispers of forbidden research collide with the pomp of noble tradition. While Lord Kristoff and his mayordomo scheme to hide their “independent research,” young Lena stumbles onto a dangerous secret buried in the archives. Armed only with her hacked tablet and a rainbow-scarfed teddy bear, she unearths the words of the Arch Father himself—words never meant for her ears.

As Gabriel’s rite-of-passage simulation ends, tensions rise: financial audits, illicit technology, and a family torn between legacy and survival. Meanwhile, the shadows of Sueño Lindo stretch closer, reminding everyone that in this kingdom, waking the dead may come at a terrible price.

A body in the garage. A boy awakening to a life he doesn’t recognize.

We jump from the Mallorca, Spain (20th-century) rite-of-passage simulation—where Gabe faces the limestone cliff “El Diablo”—to the Lovelace estate in 2106. Gabriel emerges from a white sarcophagus in the simulation theater as Dr. Leon Santos and Lady Zulema look on. Across the estate, Foreman Roy and Tony find something in the underground garage that most will call a tragedy… though our narrator Loretta is “listening for the part that’s staged.”

In the blast’s wake: a cryptic recording about souls and the Arch Father, a shattered mission, and the sudden arrival of Golden Warriors—The Hide’s brutal enforcers—who erase evidence and vanish with a bleeding deputy. This chapter closes the Prologue (Níun & Cinco) and tilts the story into open conflict: what is the Question that haunts Brother Falco? Why does The Hide fear a simple tablet more than a storm? And how far will Níun go to protect Chíp-Cha when masks finally come off?

In the scorched Rocky Mountain wastes of 2106, a radiation signature near an abandoned mine leads Níun into a hidden chamber of forbidden technology. Inside: a priest of The Hide, his body aglow with an otherworldly blue flame, tethered to a portable simulation device. When Deputy Inspector Nestor arrives, the encounter turns lethal—freeing something neither man understands.

Meanwhile, far above Earth’s surface, the CME Alert System detects a catastrophic solar eruption. With only minutes to react, Cinco races to repair the beacon before the flare consumes everything in its path.

In User Consent, we learn that The Kingdom of The Father isn’t just a story. It’s a presentation. A ritual performance.

And the one it’s being presented to?

The Arch Father.

Loretta Garcia awakens dying, her body failing—but her voice preserved. The AI requests her consent. Glitching, she agrees to become a narrator. Not for her own story—but for his.

This is the origin of our narrator. Forced into omnipresent mode. Her past erased. Her only function now: to serve a machine that serves a ghost.
