Synopsis:
It's 1994. Randal Laurence is a Canadian teacher living in Hiroshima and his partying life is spinning out of control. Randal is reflecting on this when someone joins him at his bench in Peace Park. Amekawa-san, a survivor of the atomic bomb, a man who comes to Motoyasu Bridge, Ground Zero, every morning to look for his long-lost love, Sayuri. The lovers had planned to elope that day of The Great Mistake, as the old man calls it, before proceeding to tell Randal his full story.
